Stone Lick Lake, 12 Aug 24

Hi Everyone,
Stone Lick Lake has been on my radar for quite some time. Tom and I headed down and fished it pretty hard. All of the reports I had were saying that open water fishing wasn't the way to go. If you want to catch fish there, you have to beat the banks. Yeah.
The highlight of the story and the worst part of the day for me was a scare that occurred about mid day. We had decided to take a break so I stepped out of my kayak to stretch my legs and the ground underneath of me collapsed into a void. In a split second I was buried in mud up to my knees and in water up to my waist. Watch the video until the end and hear the whole story. It's only 5 1/2 minutes long.
