Thunder in the hood 2024
After a month long stretch without rain, we finally got some relief. There were 3 periods of heavy rain yesterday. Last night we had a good thunderstorm approaching and at the last minute it veered north and passed us by. I got a little footage of some lightning flashes. Enjoy

Hi Everyone, My first thought about yesterday's outing was that there would be no report or video because the trip was miserable failure for me. 7 hours on the water with no fish. After giving the matter more consideration my decision was that Jim had a couple of good catches and deserves some recognition. There is a bit of fun poking going on in this video so up front, forgive me. Enjoy,
Grand River 2024 day 2

Hi Everyone, The second day on the river was much more productive than day 1. One of my goals going into this trip was to mix it up and catch fish on as many different baits as possible. Even though the wacky worm was working extremely well, on day 2 I took it off for a large portion of the day so I could throw, swim baits bottom baits and topwater baits. The fish seemed to be much more active ...

This is day 1 of my annual trek to the Grand River. My goal was to catch fish on as many different lures as I could. The bite was such that I had to throw what was working. The lures that caught fish were the wacky worm, spinner bait and rooster tail. Although the day ended with 32 fish in the boat, 8 fish came unbuttoned and it was a combination of things causing this. First, the fish were jus...

It looks really good on google maps and it was a stretch that neither of us had fished before. Each year my goal is to fish at least 2 new bodies of water. • @kellyfish1957
      @kellyfish1957 2 месяца назад

      The fact that he drew his revolver in the movie theater certainly suggests guilt. Maybe guilt over JD Tippett. As far as his role at the book depository, ask yourself this, would anyone commit the assassination with absolutely NO escape plan? Oswald was smarter than that.

    Yeah, he was carrying "curtain rods" right? Please. A man doesn't react the way Oswald did and NOT be guilty. Period! His own brother, the last family member to see him alive, said " If he was innocent, he would've been raising the roof in that station but when I sat down across from him, he was eerily calm and just kept saying "everything is going to be alright brother. Everything." Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK. Period. If there was others involved, which I doubt because Oswald did NOT work well with others, there's not one shred of real evidence. I've always been willing to concede the involvement of others, but Oswald was THEE only shooter in Dealy Plaza. Go online and pull up the "Mooreman" photo and look at it. It was taken at the exact same time as the head shot. You can see Abraham Zapruder in it but you can also see 3 men standing on the steps in front of him. All of them, relaxed and just watching the motorcade. I don't know if you've ever been forward of a rifle muzzle, but let me tell you...it's LOUD. Deafening, concussive, so if there was a shooter there, you don't see THAT picture. You see those men cowering on the steps with their hands over their heads. Zapruder and his secretary would've jumped out of their skins...but they heard nothing. You gotta put the small things in with the evidence kellyfish and not one thing exonerates Oswald in any way. I usually don't even comment on this case anymore because people don't know how to control themselves but you seem reasonable.

    Here's my question. If the kill shot came from the book depository the bullet would have entered the President's head from the back of his head. The McGruder film shows the president's wife reach back to the trunk area to retrieve a part of the president's skull that means the kill shot had to come from the front of the vehicle into his forehead. This could mean there was more than one shooter just say'n.

    • @kellyfish1957
      @kellyfish1957 2 месяца назад

      You're exactly right. In my video you can see the knoll snipers view of the headshot. It clearly came from the knoll. Math & science do not allow for a single shooter. The first shot hit Kennedy around frame 210 -215 of the Zappruder film. Connolly was hit around frames 236 -238. That's 21 - 24 frames and just a little over a second. It takes 2.4 seconds to cycle the Manlicher rifle so there simply isn't enough time for a single shooter.

    • @9Ballr
      @9Ballr 2 месяца назад

      Kennedy's head was thrust forward the instant the bullet hit him in the back of the head. Whatever jerked his head backward after that wasn't the bullet.

      Count the time between the first shot, frame 210 -215 and the Connolly shot at frame 236 -238. It's 1.6 seconds. Not enough time to cycle the bolt action and re-fire. One shooter is not physically possible.

    • @9Ballr

There are lots of videos to back my claim. When I can't generate a strike, it's really frustrating and challenging because 9 out of 10 times on the water I can get the fish to bite. Yesterday they showed me that I am NOT in charge. I agree with you, when I am lake fishing I lean heavily on lipless crank baits. Thanks for this; I was stationed at Wright-Patt and worked on the AGM-28 B “Hounddog missile. One of the tall missiles I also worked with was a Titan 2 when I was stationed at Little Rock AFB IN Arkansas.

      Hi Ed, Glad you enjoyed the video. I was a 461Xo Munitions Specialist. I worked with everything except nukes. When I separated I was certified in 9 different guided missiles for assembly, maintenance and handling. I have built all of the hard case bombs and cluster bombs you see in this vide with the exception of the old Minol 2 bombs they used in WWII. Those were out of the inventory when I joined in 1977. Thanks, Kelly

    You’d think they’d tell you where the batteries go lol. Just bought this scale over the weekend and needed this. Thank you!

      Hi, sorry my original reply to you has somehow vanished. I replaced this scale because it quit working after the first year. I now have one made by Berkley.

      The idea of running in the dark with a ball flying around at over 60 mph just doesn't seem like the thing to do.

      I believe that I captured ball lightning. Look for it right after the car passes through. It's on the right side of the picture about mid screen. Thanks!.

      Hi Ed, We had a good day and it sucks to end the year but what are ya gonna do? I filmed my opening scene in front of a green screen in my garage. That's how I was able to predict exactly how many fish we would catch! Now the long winter. I am playing pickle ball for fun.

    Was the second fish on a whacky worm?

    • @kellyfish1957
      @kellyfish1957 11 месяцев назад

      Yes it was. I was done with my presentation and had just started bringing the worm back when he got it. There was no hit or thump. He just started running which is why I thought I'd snagged a carp. This is why I love river fishing. Thanks.
