    You are spot on, everyone else tells you to change the Preset and they forget that when you go to Video and change a setting the Preset changes. So in reality there is no reason to worry about the Preset in the beginning. Example if you pick High Quality 1080p HD your aspect ratio changes to custom, and if you change your aspect ratio to square pixels (1.0) your Preset changes to custom. Thank you for making this easy to understand.

    I just wanna say how helpful and straight to the point you are!
    I found your video through google and everyone else just rambles on about different things in their videos (which is totally fine) but I want something straight to what I need and your video does just that! Keep it up.
    I will be subbing - I hope you get to travel soon cus I enjoyed your short travel video on Okinawa.

    My VBR 1 Pass only show "Target Bitrate" & no "Maximum Bitrates" Premiere 2023. The videos came out with the blue sky having some sort of video noise, even in mid day shot. I filmed with the DJI Osmo Action 4 (no color grading), color profile straight from the camera.

    Wow do you have the 4k UHD HDR preset? I don't have it.

    Should I double the bitrates numbers you used in this video if I am rendering 60FPS?

    • @OfficialTylerWhite
      @OfficialTylerWhite  Месяц назад +1

      negative, you shouldn't have to double the bitrate for 60fps

    In the encoding setting, in some youtube videos they make the profile setting high10, in others they only make it high. Same thing with the level setting, some have 4.2 and some have 5.2 (I also see higher options at the bottom). What is the reason for these differences and what are the most correct options?

    • @OfficialTylerWhite
      @OfficialTylerWhite  Месяц назад +4

      The difference between levels 4.2 and 5.1 comes down to how much data the video needs to process at once. Level 5.1 is designed for higher resolutions and bitrates, which is important if you're working with high-quality 4K or super high-bitrate content. On the other hand, level 4.2 is what I've found best for HD videos. Unless you’re pushing the limits with 4K or very high bitrates, you probably won’t notice much of a difference. It mainly matters for compatibility. Some older or less powerful devices might struggle with higher levels like 5.1. I hope this helps!

    is the "normalize audio" in the export settings legit (i think it's the last check box under "effects" in the export menu) - does it really bring up or down your LUFs to the target you type in, like -14 for You Tube, or is it better to manually go back and forth between gain settings and the loudness meter or loudness radar in the audio mixer to get the LUF's to your target?

      I personally don't use it because I have trust issues lol. I would rather make the adjustments manually to save myself from having to re-export the project.

    Under Encoding Settings > Level, mines was automatically set to 5.1. Using the most recent version of Premiere. What is the difference between 4.2 and 5.1?

      Have you tried selecting match source before exporting the video? You can also go into your sequence setting and verify the sequence aspect ratio
