Tht platform on top of the tanker could welded to the roof of that school bus to make deck when you camp t the junk yard. You could also add an access door to make more accessible.
If you take one of the frames from those old farm trucks they make really good fork extensions so you would have long forks to move vehicles around. I've made a set for my track loader.
Hey Silas my friend, I wish your videos were longer! I enjoy them so very much. You’re becoming quite the expert editor and producer. Your work is as good as or better than most everyone else on RUclips. Thanks! Peace, DrRick
Didn't know Kansas had a monsoon season. Holy, 3 inches of rain is a huge amount, especially in a yard with a lot of compacted soil. Nothing like working in gumbo to find all those under used leg muscles. Wish I lived a little closer, I would have been all over that '48 grain truck. Shorten the frame, do a tunnel job and get 'er on the road.
Jailbar's a nice old unit. I'd about bet that old flathead would free up and run with a little work. Those things are hard to kill. That '64 F250 is a nice builder.
I have these giant wasp like bees in my yard that tunnel deep into the ground to lay their larvae. Their called Cicada killers. They catch them and take them down into their holes to feed their babies.
I once lived in Ottawa and traveled the state. I was in Hutchinson on Sept 11 in 2001 at the state fair. Never forget. I loved Kansas, the people were marvelous. My wife and I will both be 80 this year. I enjoy when you visit farms. Reminds me of my travels across the state.
Nice Truck Front Clips ! You have been soooooo very Busy - but Busy is Good ! That Farm Clean Out would be so very Interesting indeed - can't wait - see what You will Find - what Treasures are Lurking - ha ! Man - Love that Ambulance - what a Brilliant Find - You Love Cools Stuff ! Another Fantastic Video with Silas and many Cheers from Australia !!!!
Only rain we got all summer. It was dried and gone within a week. Reservoirs are still extremely low and the river is about to run dry. It would take months of rain like that every few days to pull us out of the drought now 😔
@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch- Wow, looking at US Drought Monitor site, Kansas will take a lot of rain this winter to just get back to normal water levels.
First of all my friend absolutely love your channel . I just wish I could come across the pond with a shipping container and bring the parts wee need. Dave across the pond.
There's an outfit in Texas that restores those Jeep Wagoneers ,they would of giving you good money for it. Those G bodies are also worth some good money, wish i lived closed to you .
Hello, from France ! I'm a lover of beautiful rusty wrecks ! Very nice series of vidéos ! 🤩 Recently saw Peugeot 504 wagons in one of your videos, do you have any other French cars in your junkyard, Citroen DS and CX, Peugeot 404 or 604, Renault dauphine for example ? 🛻🚑 Thank's ! 😉
Ass usual you are a very busy man , never doing the same thing day after day gives you a chance to get to things that are important at that moment . Still no matter what the weather you are out there looking after your customers . Thank you for a great video , Till next time , take care , Stuart in Canada ..
That job keeps you hopping especially when you have to run between two yards. Those catalytic converters are worth their weight in gold. Well considering they use platinum inside those no wonder they get stolen. My Daughters Cat went out on her 2010 F150 custom and it has two catalytic converters. That's gonna be a couple grand to replace without the labor to cut the old ones off and weld the new ones in. Thanks for another fun video.
Hey. Nice greetings from Germany. I really enjoy watching your videos. I'm currently building a scrapyard the size of Hot Wheels. Your videos always give me really good templates. When I'm finished there will be a video about it
I saw first response squad on the side. I think it was a QRS unit and not an actual ambulance. I was a EMT for 10 years out here in my area of Pennsylvania. I recently rejoined my local volunteer fire department that I ran EMS and Fire with back in the 1990's
That little GMC Chevy S10 first generation. The one at the farm clean up that you probably already completed by now. It is amazing how much those parts are going for currently. I thought I saw Fiat x19 2-seater sports car with a removable landau top. I've got an old 1977 or so wagon and it's a Fiat. It has to dual overhead cam engine in it. Which is the spider sports car engine which should be the engine for Fiat x19 if that's what it is that you showed in the back ground. All that's worth something to the right collector. I can see that metal deck on top of a school bus camper next to a lake and a big tire swing coming off a tree. Get on the deck swing out and drop into the lake. Those days are long gone for me but they sure are fun back in the day. great video
That ambulance is awesome! Glad it escaped the crusher! I know you already crushed that maroon '93-'96 Cadillac Fleetwood (Chevrolet powered! )(spotted it several videos ago!)) But it was good to see it wasn't a nice condition car before! Nice action packed video!
👍👌👏 I like your longer videos with a lot of different content very much. Of course I'm eagerly looking forward to watch the farm clean up. As always: Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health in particular.
Well that answered my question on Ford p/u, guess best to watch to end before ask questions on availability. Good business moving stock that fast. Ss normal excellent content Thanks !!! Gw
Hi Silas. I always wonder what people are going to do with the cabins and frontclips of the old trucks? Why don't they buy the whole truck? Are they building hotrods on new chassis?
Silas not sure if you know this or not,but you are a hoarder big time😢 too bad if I worked by your side by the time you had your lunch I would have crushed everything humanly possible. Keep filming and keep crushing.
We know it takes a while to edit these videos. So when you record them if you could say a date at the beginning. Just to give us an idea what day and month it is.
Tht platform on top of the tanker could welded to the roof of that school bus to make deck when you camp t the junk yard. You could also add an access door to make more accessible.
that platform would work well as a platform on top of the bus camper. it would be a cool place for a tent or a couple of chairs.
These 50’s 60’s trucks have all turned to rust here in Quebec. If the weather didn’t get them the salt rotted them out!
If you take one of the frames from those old farm trucks they make really good fork extensions so you would have long forks to move vehicles around. I've made a set for my track loader.
Good Afternoon There My Good Big Bro Silas Of Adventures Made From Scratch

I enjoyed your footage of the storm rolling in. Thanks for adding that.

I love your adventures Silas! From dismantling trucks to buying older ones is what I like big time, great work man!!
Great video. Plenty of old vehicles getting a new life. 👍👍👍👍👍
It would be nice to see pictures of what some of your buyers do with noses and cabs.
Always enjoy your new videos appreciate the work you put into them while working to provide for your family
I have never seen a live cicada before. I've only ever heard them and seen their empty shells on the trees. Way cool.
I wanted everyone to see what makes that horrible noise in the background of my videos 😆
I have these giant wasp like bees in my yard that tunnel deep into the ground to lay their larvae. Their called Cicada killers. They catch them and take them down into their holes to feed their babies.
awesome!

Looks like the Kansas drought broke with that rain storm.
PS - Thanks for posting. One hard working crew!

In fact I’m sure of it. You are a blast to watch.
First of all my friend absolutely love your channel . I just wish I could come across the pond with a shipping container and bring the parts wee need. Dave across the pond.
I love seeing you put the equipment to work on these videos. Crushing, hauling, hoists, trailers. Good sh.. Silas. Keep it up

Drove through Turon last week...bought a truck in Salina and was driving home to Las Vegas. Found Kansas peopl super friendly.
There's an outfit in Texas that restores those Jeep Wagoneers ,they would of giving you good money for it. Those G bodies are also worth some good money, wish i lived closed to you .
327 chevys had a squared off extrusion ontop from bolt hole to bolt hole. 283 was rounded!

Use the tanker tank for water at your camping bus
25:59, I probably still got the correct time period siren, siren speakers ,lightbars 🚨 & spotlights for that old school ambulance 🚑

Is the patina'd Ford 250 that you showed with raccoon condo available for sale intact? If so any idea on price?
Sorry I already snagged it!

Awesome video as always
How do you find so many older trucks like the old farm trucks you got the cabs off of I just love old trucks
Silas not sure if you know this or not,but you are a hoarder big time😢 too bad if I worked by your side by the time you had your lunch I would have crushed everything humanly possible. Keep filming and keep crushing.
That would be a very poor financial decision since I pay 2, 3, sometime 4-5x crush value for many of these old cars
I was told that antenna was on planes and boats. Mine works on radio in shop
Thankyou silas
You should take that crane and see how much distance you can get throwing an engine and than see how far you can toss a car!! That would be cool !!!
We know it takes a while to edit these videos. So when you record them if you could say a date at the beginning. Just to give us an idea what day and month it is.
Great content
Since the pedals go through the floor. Why not just cut them loose from below same with parking brake. This way you only have to cut gear shift lever
You should check into the VIOFO cameras.
And the blue 48 is headed to Dubai!
If you find any ho scale trains I might check them out good luck 👍
Yes Go Pro is cool Peace out
Where is your loader going
Hello I haven't been on you tube in a while but I'm just wondering where is your junkyard located

This was filmed in August and we haven’t gotten rain since then until today
Can’t you use that telehandler to load cars or is it not functional?
Not mine
Most of the Chevy motors that have the rams head exhaust manifolds are 327's
This is perfect timing, I’m gonna watch ANFS when i have pizza tonight.
Edit: GoPro blooper!
