Kudos, Silas! Thanks for being yourself and taking us along for the ride through your days. Thanks for saving that 68 Plymouth so someone can enjoy it! Awesome video!
The channels I am subscribed to often are just because the person there is excited about what they are doing. It is the excitement of the person trying to start the channel that gets me hooked. The 59 Chevrolet Truck is my favorite of Chevys. I drove one as a kid, I always wanted a 1/2 ton long wide bed.
Silas, I see the odd pole light from the swap meet just above the door (a porch light) of your junkyard cabin as you step out onto the wood deck to enjoy an evening with the fire pit going.
I went to the swap meet to and spent to much money lol. But another great video just love watching your adventures. You keep up that fantastic work you do and have a wonderful next adventure I will be sure to be watching your next adventures .
Seeing the 68 Plymouth reminded me of a 66 Plymouth Fury 3 Station Wagon my father had. It had the 383 Hemi engine. Strangely enough, I don’t remember what he did with it. Oh well, my old memory. Lol
Hey Silas, I had a good time watching everything that you do throughout your day. I've been disabled for a number of years now, and you do pretty much everything that I used to do. My best friends uncle used to own a junkyard in south Phoenix, way back in the 70's to the 2000, but in the late 70's and up till 1983, I would hang out there just about every Saturday and work alongside my friend. Man! The cool cars and stuff that would come through there was amazing! Every once in a while, his uncle would give him a car that he would buy for 100 bucks and he and I would go to town on it, fixing it up with whatever he could find in the junkyard. Fun, fun times. Thanks for all the fun memories, Silas. Have yourself a great night, and enjoy your tomorrow. God bless you and your family. Take care, my friend.
Swap meet tour was really fun and enjoyable. You fooled me on the model car parts. I swore you'd get stung! I don't know how you know the specs and models on half the junk you describe. Always fun to watch your vids.
I had a 66 Chrysler Newport when my wife and I got married. We drove it on our honeymoon. My wife didn't like the steering on it, she said it was to easy to turn the wheel she couldn't tell what it was doing. So I traded it to my Daddy for a 64 Impala he had. I was in the Army and was on my way to Vietnam so she was going to be driving it all the time. I come home on leave in 6 months and bought her a new 72 Nova Rally Sport. I drove it a 1000 miles to break it in before I had to go back. Wish I had that one now. Have a good day stay safe and God bless. Dan 🇺🇲
I drooled when I saw all those bags that had the plastic model cars and parts. I built and collect them as a hobby. It was good that you saved all those vintage cars from the crusher Silas. Thanks ever so much. And It was great to see the old Plymouth Fury back on the road with it's new owner.
those S/S kegs, either slice the top off and make it into a deep fryer or slice in 2 length wise then hinge one side up for a homemade BBQ Rottis're ......
We love the Toy Motors You bought - very Cool ! You are sooooo Right - Cash always Talks ! We love buying and selling on E-Bay ! Man - You are so very Busy indeed ! Brilliant Video and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!! PS - Yes - that 68 Plymouth was a Beauty - glad it was saved !!!!
Gosh, I love swap meets and auctions, especially farm auctions. There was a time when I had the money to buy most stuff I wanted. Those were the days. Glad you get to go sometimes, I understand seeing something you want but you better sense tells you you best not. Sometimes you kick yourself for not getting it or are glad you didn't. lol You are a really hardworking person, thanks for taking us along on your adventures. I have no idea what all it takes to get these videos done but please know I appreciate it! Stay safe and GOD bless
Great video today and I really enjoyed the swap meeting and it's nice to see one of the cars you sold in the past up and running around good luck with your ebay stuff
Thanks buddy I enjoyed that, you had a fun day! I love it when I can go treasure searching, as well. Man.....that's the best therapy sometimes. You take care
The Guide glass pieces are for helping you see the traffic lights when Stopped at them. Some old cars it's hard to see the light because of the windshield height.
Hey Silas, I saw on the internet the horn button, same design as yours. They are saying 1949-50. I tend to believe it to be a 1950 because steering wheels 1949 and 1951 look different. I look at the truck with Wichita reminded me when I was stationed at McConnell AFB years ago.
That’s so cool you enjoyed making it. Great video and I love your fast pace narration. I feel like I could run a junkyard just from watching and listening to you!
I think this is one of my favourite videos too. Thank you for explaining some of the scrap values too .. as I often wonder where you guys manage to make a living from all those scrap parts and I found it very interesting.
Correct on the 6 cylinder. On the models you were able to pick the make model and trim. We had a store that had a 1000sq ft of model cars, trucks, trains and much more. Used to be a couple dollars and went up to 10 .
That's great advice he should listen to you. I started about a year ago you gotta just start and do it and put it out there and let the critics be critics because they're going to help you. Like you said he'll get better over time and then he can worry about putting out good videos. What he needs to remember is people are being held hostage and forced to watch his videos. They're choosing to watch it for a reason. Whether he thinks it's crap or not they're watching it. Anyways just wanted to say that. And what the hell are you gonna do with 2 bags of engines lol

Put a deck on top of Your school bus, and use a couple of stairs on the back side to get up there.
Amazing! What I see as junk, is prophet for you.

I know the video is a bit old and I'm late to the game but I believe that mercury steering wheel is a 1949.
You could cut one of the stairs down & put by the rear door of the camping bus?? 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
Silas you sure have come a long way since January 2021. I liked ya from the start as you remind me a lot of my husband.
That Plymouth is an awesome survivor!
That old home made light would look cool on the junk yard cabin
That B & M Pro Ratchet shifter sells for about 400.00. Great purchase
Hello Silas.. that steering wheel looks like a '49 Merc.
I just did a quick search.
I found a pic of one just like it.
That light is made from a old milk separateor strainer funnel!!!
Thet steering wheel you have fits a 1949-1950 Mercury Monarch Coupe, hope this helps
Silas it is a '49 '50 model steering wheel.
1949-1950 mercury club coupe or monarch coupe steering wheel and horn ring
Weather report on Wednesday, June 8th reported hail the size of baseballs in Kansas (2.5”). Amazing! Hope your roof didn’t take a hit.

That’s 51 to 52 traffic viewer
Good stairs for junk yard cabin, or back door on semi storage trailers.
Please build a stand for draining cars. Friend of mine used to do it off the forks and died when a hose broke on the loader
Or a secondary mechanical locking device such as what a dump truck has for working under the dump bed.
Hi from New Zealand 🖐 you could make viewing platforms in your yards with the stairs you can't sell :) absolutely love your videos.
1949 Mercury Steering Wheel
You can start a little yard but with plastic models. 👍🏻🤔

The Aurora car was car line marketed as 'cigar box', competition for 'matchbox' cars.
Great video Silas , thanks for all the adventures you take us on. Have a great evening with the family.

This is one of the best ones you've done in a while, not saying your videos are bad but some are better than others.
I agree Richard and I understand.
@@katbot2190 don't get me wrong I like your videos

You need 2 of each of everything for the vehicles you drive every day. 2 battery chargers, etc.
When I strike it rich I’ll definitely do that 😆 😎

the guides were mounted on the dash of a car so you could see a stoplight without looking under the mirror or sunvisor
Back in the day time of people made tons of stuff to use.
I like the Bad Dawg sign
Nice score i believe that Chevy 4v intake under that Ford one will accept a square base Holley carb !!!! And they used it up to 1966 on 327s
that other speedo gauge looks like a 70's chevy bouncer. if you know then you know lol
Made a few model engines. Moving parts and one was transparent and all the parts worked, made by Revell.

The steering wheel was used on 1949 and 1950 Mercury cars.
