i like this auction guy.he moves along real good, he don't waste all day as some auctioneers do!!thanks for showing the prices of what they sold for as well!!
Not a hoarder
That 1970 Pontiac Bonnieville went pretty cheap A lot of good parts there I like buying up them Pontiacs great video
Your Canadian is showing! lol!
Excellent mr pliers cheers 🥂 😊
The auction company should have taken the time to match-up vehicles to the titles that they had- that CAN (but not always) make a difference in what a buyer is willing to pay for it- or at least it makes a difference to those who want to re-sell them- Excellent vid Tim- keep it up!
Thank you for the video
The '65 Rambler Ambassador Wagon was right up my alley. I like the styling on those, and it looked to be relatively complete and in good shape on the outside, unlike most of the other cars here.
All Ambassadors of this era seem to have significant cowl rust that takes out the floors
Tractors and farm implements were the real money makers, the Vega looked promising from what I could see from my lazy boy. Your self discipline in knowing when to stop bidding was spot on imo. 👍Thanks for sharing the auction , I enjoyed the video.👍
IDK, the Ghia & Demon were cheap enough. Quick flips to get travel money back & bikes coulda been profit. Always enjoy. Ty for taking us along
I'm sorry it was such a long drive for you, but it was entertaining to watch. I appreciate the effort.
It’s too bad all the vehicles were so rotten. Even the Karmann Ghia would’ve been a source of regret. You did right passing all those nightmares up
You made the right decision on the Karmann-Ghia. What people don't realize is that although built on a humble Beetle floor pan the body is constructed like any coach-built high dollar car from the 50s like Maseratis, Ferraris or Jag XK120-150s, namely semi hand made panels fitted together individually and everything welded together. The bits are available but you need to know what you're doing to get good fit and panel gaps. People are aware of it, which means that unless it's more or less rust-free you won't make much on re-sale - if at all, this car being as rotten as a peach. I did not see too much in the way of spares on it either, I presume the chrome was pitted and the interior was thrashed. So count your blessings!
I noticed that. The equipment went for really cheap. Here in Central Tn. those are gold. Cool videos.
There is nothing finer than rusty junk in its natural habitat. Haucktuey girl 😅
Hi tim the mobil lubster is my pick
. Cheers mate🇦🇺
that orange squarebody chevy truck for under $300 was a steal,, parts are cheap and a great starter to build a top hot rod.
Oh i did finish watching the video in between washing Dishes, cooking & Eating. lol that did answer some of my questions. Nice Save on the Motor Cycles. They have been quite desirable in recent years do to You Tube Again Thank You for the Videos.
That Mobil oil despenser was your best deal.
another very enjoyable video Mr. Goodpliers, thank you again 👍
My neighbor had a Belarus and a Fiat tractor. Named them Stalin and Mussolini.
Spring is coming
Stalin &
Mussolini
Winter for them
Did come
Thanks for the update on the bikes!
Nice to know hauk tuah girl made it to the auction.
I think you were right to stick to your limits and make a deal for the bikes
and the “smalls.”
yep there were a few decent parts on the ghia.
not very far from me. Super good deals on the farm equipment just like you said.
12:13 you feel bad for that little kid!!life is going to rough on him!
The dog did the what's it segment !
That was hilarious. I just spotted that dog at 5:12.
That Rampage was a good deal.I would think those Rambler wagons could bring some good money in parts.
It was coincidental that both Rambler wagons were 1965 models. One was an Ambassador, the other a Classic.
A lotta great parts cars! I woulda grabbed that satellite myself.
The Ghia was a earlier model. The 51 Chev. was the club coupe . Demon was cheap. All rough parts cars. Good for Joe, if he was closer!,,,,Dubs
Being wet brought out better color in the video.
Guess I would have picked up the 68 Plymouth for Road Runner parts.
Thanks
The dog peeing on the Impala at the 5:00 minute mark was a sign that you choosing not to buy it was a wise decision.
Thats hilarious. I shall review that.
Rampage is worth something but probably not the fuel to bring it home and sit on it either for parts or find someone willing to pay to ship it
When new the Case skid loader came with a Renault engine. Le Case
Wow. Most of that stuff should have been left in the woods as fertilizer. Oh well, you win some, you lose some...
I hope you made enough on the bikes to cover your fuel to and from the auction.
Cool video. I guess almost all of the vehicles sold for scrap at those prices.
🗿💨 former digging business is in my past but a back hoe and skid steer looks like money. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
My neighbor and I sailed a Sailfish in the Thomas Hill lake west of there.
A 1967 Camaro with 396 in it parked for 40 years not running sold for 30600.00 at auction no I didn't buy. I like the auction you go too.
You should have bought the gieA for the bumpers😮
Where do you find these auctions love the content
Internet searches and Facebook
Not much there except the green Plymouth 4 door 😢.
At 5:12 that puppy put his bid in to late.
Something to look more closely at.
I sure could have used that loader. $700, was a good gamble.
Bout time
VW windshield and back glass go for $250-400
Yes that was cool Peace out
❤the cc 🇺🇸💯
Am sure the Gia parted out would have been worth it
1970's Pontiac Bonnivilles: If cicada insect faces had 4 eyes.
Unfortunately most of them cars and trucks where only scrap!
Seems like he knocked the value way down by not promising a title on the vehicles.
A couple of them would have been realistically restorable. The condition of the vehicles was more of a turn-off than missing titles. Most of them would have been too old to be anything more than wall hangers. It's easier to get a new one than mess with one that is still in the name of a deceased person
Guessing 218 was a scrap dealer
Back in the summer you bought a pair of 1961 model pontiacs a four door and a two door. Did the two door sale ? Just curious if it’s gonna be restored or used for parts.
I'm planning on using it for a bubble top conversion on a 1962 Bel Air, if I can find one. The Pontiac is a stripped shell, so it's not much more than a roof donor
I doubt that Bonneville still had its 455. Had a 2bbl carb which wasn't an option for the Bonneville 455.
It was a YH code. Some guys said there was a 500CFM two barrel offered on V8s. I wondered if someone swapped a two barrel on during gas crunch years to try to improve MPG?
hi. any pic on the 1960 chevy wagon?
I never did find it in the woods
Did you run into Silas at the auction?
Misery loves company
i have never seen rust anywhere in the world as these states that used salt or chemicals.. i know nothing about Missouri but 20+ other states are terrible for rust.. its the floors and rocker panels and rear 1/4 panels,, nobody wants to fix them.. love these Auctions mate.
I would LOVe to see Elon Musk or Bill Gates,, get a program going where they buy all these cars and many more and start a program for homeless kids to learn restoration skills and all the cars are Auctioned and the money goes back into the program., they are learning a dying craft and its putting all these cars and trucks back into homes to be loved again. This is AMERICAN History in every one of these cars. steve in Australia.
I grew up in Massachusetts and we had no shortage of rotten vehicles there. Colorado isn’t entirely rust free but undercarriages are much easier to get apart
I just hate it when you septic tanks drug things around
You should of got that 67 Impala
Needed an extra pair of doors to interest me
You probably should have bought the Ghia.
Wow If the frame & interior were good on that '67 Impala along with that '67 wagon for the rear end that woulda been good for you & Joe. I know it was a long way & no trailer but still... a Simple Flip with the rearend installed & scrap the wagon. Did they have a loader available? What amazes me If i was the Auctioneer & the owner I wouldda put those titles in Year order & with a Quick glimpse couldda found the titles easy enough to get more $$$ for the vehicles. Big mistake by the auctioneer. AND Always... Why did I by those cars? "Because they Need Me." Good luck to you & Joe in future sales. btw that Little Dodge Rampage would of been a Nice Project to Flip for someone at $250
The two door had a hole in the frame (in the part that was visible). The real money on these cars is in the four door hardtops, so I would have parted both out. I have three ready to go now, so I'm not feeling too froggy to acquire a bunch more unless they're cheap. No loader was available, so they would have been a chore to load.
There was a file folder stuffed full of titles. They hadn't gone through them - I suspect some may have been extras for vehicles already sent to the great junkyard in the sky. I don't think titles or no titles affected what was sold here all that much - there weren't more than a couple of them still feasibly restorable. One of the motorcycles did have a title, but it's just something to frame in the shop - for something that old, it's just easier to start over with our state's antique title process
@@mr.goodpliers6988 I've heard that if you are into old vehicles you need a friend in Kansas. I did manage to get a bonded title in Nebraska in 2014. But when I was looking at another vehicle in 2016 that was in Iowa, they (Iowa) wouldn't tell me the last registered owner (change in privacy laws) so I couldn't complete the steps necessary. I don't know about now, but at that time Nebraska required a title inquiry in Nebraska, and in the state that you purchased the car. Anymore, I won't buy a vehicle without a title unless it is for scrap price.
Why don't you save for a bigger trailer
I've got one spotted I'll be picking up soon
I didn't see any cars or trucks worth bidding on. This is coming from a guy that lives in the rust belt. Most of them were too far gone or picked over. Hopefully, you get to pay for your time and travel on this one.
Mostly parts cars
218 sure bought a lot. Scrap?
Yes, scrap man.
Is the '70 Catalina really the ugliest front ever? Certainly remember it!
It took cues from the Stutz II and Duesenberg II from the late 60s. Those styling motifs were unique, but not for everyone
It looked different and I liked it a lot in its day. I still prefer it to the Catalina grills which came immediately after.
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊👍👍👏🏻👏🏻
Bunch’s junk on this one
that dodge rampage brother... i would of scooped that up so damn fast... that would of been my turbo k20 or LS build swapped car... it was perfect in every way. holy hell
Junk junk and more junk
They dragged them out druged is affected by narcotics
14:22 Who’s the chick? Or not a chick?
Hailey Welsh " Hawk tuah girl "
She cleared her throat.
Has anyone else wondered this? Do auctioneers really need to talk that fast? Np, they don't. I can't understand a word they say & it's annoying.
