If there were more people like Jimmy Carter the world would be a better place.
This country would be closer to a socialist state than it already is!!
ROTFLMAO
As a humanitarian, yes...
...as a President, *no* ...
He must have been one of the better presidents then.

Special order usually means sold to fleets, like taxi cab companies, municipalities like police and fire etc. if you decipher the other codes on the fender tag you’ll find a lot of heavy duty equipment, nice find.
exactly what I was going to see. Mass orders were Special Pricing. Fleet of somekind, had ex-Air Force Dodge Truck with same tag
Special order was also a retail thing,by either the dealer, consumer, small business wanting a specific vehicle.Fleet. purchases could be a problem sometimes because a manufacturer might/would make a limited run of components with OEM-NOS replacement partsnot available later for fleet buyers, etc
@@dmcnamara9859 Never saw that tag on anything other than fleet though. Anyone could special order a car, my brother did with his Challenger, but it didn't have a Special order tag on it.
My dad was a salesman for a Dairy company. His company cars in the 70’s were Fury’s.
@@jamesandrew5205 most likely a fleet sale
Hi Tim, seeing that Chicken of the Sea can with washers. Brought back memories. A high school friend of mine mother, and aunts worked at Star Kist cannery Terminal Island California. The Long Beach Naval Shipyard was about a mile away from the canneries. I grew up about 5 miles away from Terminal Island.
Diggin' the Lloyds Ghettoblaster. Had a Lloyds in the 80's.
Old wheel weights, haha..As a kid, I used to melt those things over the BBQ grill and pour them into molds, to make sinkers for fishing.
In a nostalgic TV commercial voice: "Introducing the Chrysler Newport, the Car That Thinks It's A House!"
Hi Tim, You and Joe work great together. Good friends are hard to come by. I sent you a message regarding the 1949 Chevy Joe bought. Get back with me when you’re free. Thanks
The bumper is for a step on old flatbed cattle ranch truck for feed
Fascinating, I never would have guessed that but it makes sense now
I like this type of video, you never know what you may find.
Mr. B. Here ! From what I have see ; a power washer inside and out and I think that wagon will clean up really nice . Door dent is no big deal looks like metal is there . Joe if the wagon is yours get it running and have fun with it ! 😊
Cool that you have your Mini-Me helping out with the camera. Those Plymouth wagons were literal tanks, I got to use one for a while
Cool thanks 👍 Lee 😊
Cool toys cars&trucks❤️
Special Tool in wagon was leading spoon right 👍 ! Great Video even had wife interested ! Love the Wagon ! Mopar 😂 course the metal trucks toys were real cool too.
This video makes me think about time. The Hoarder always thought they would come back and use all of that stuff and never did.
What friends are for, to spend each others money...
.... You guys Really love your Work !!!!!! ...... and I'm envious !!!!!!!!!!! .......
My Moms aunt and uncle had a wagon like that back in the 70s.Avocado green.Had the 3rd seat in the back.
The s curved piece of steel that Joe pulled out of that wooden toolbox is a grout joint scribe for brick or block
Nice grey 57’ chevy! 😍👌
The toy trucks were the best thing in that wagon. 😊
As model collector I would agree.
I had a great time today
Super! Thanks for stopping by the channel!
That s shaped tool is for pointing the new mortor between bricks when laying them. To smooth out the joints.
MID CENTURY LAMP , those have a retractable cord inside, we had 1 in our kitchen.
Awesome wagon
Another treasure hunt! Great fun! Thanks for sharing your videos!
That was fun!
We had an old body man at the salvage yard I worked at he had this inflatable bag he would put inside of a door panel pop it out made some of his repairs a little easier ! Also used to work at a full service gas station up on the highway when I was a kid near the tire machine we had a little bucket where we kept all those tire weights that was back in the days when they had the bubble balancer ! I liked that Two door Pontiac wagon I hope y’all were gonna get it but that’s cool you can’t bring everything home
I have heard Scott - from Cold War Motors - say that you can put a deflated football or basketball inside the door panel - then pump it up. As it expands, it pushes out the panel.
Lloyd’s was something you’d find at a discount store like Ames. I had a Lloyd’s Walkman. It’s cool to see the old ghetto blaster in decent condition.
Lots of treasures right on, thanks for the video.
Great haul! All worthy of saving!✊
The back window being electric would have a switch on the dash to control. The key cylinder in the tailgate was a switch also, turning it clockwise would lower the glass and turning it counter clockwise raised the glass.
If you have a vintage outhouse you need a vintage Sears catalog
Like how joe just throws the junk rite on top of the $100 cross cut saw and $50 lamp thanks Joe haha cool video guys. The wagon is cool as hell hope you fix it up as a runner brings back a lot of memories sitting in the family wagon.
Mr. Goodpliers, Picture tubes are available, but to convert to digital is more difficult, you could however gut the cabinet, and install a flat panel LED, or LCD type tv inside, add a small stereo amplifier - use the audio output RCA type jacks to amp inputs, amp outputs to cabinet speakers - then you'd have a beautiful cabinet tv, fully operable with that great wood cabinet sound, and - with a remote that works well - (and doesn't change channel or volume if you pull your keys out like the Zenith 'Space Command' remote tv's were famous for - the remote pushbuttons when pressed caused small 'hammers' to strike one of 3 metal rods of different sizes- each 'rang' at different frequencies when struck, so one of 3 reed switches would vibrate causing volume up, down or change channel- which only went one way, so if on ch 5, and wanted ch 4, you had to go all the way around back to 4. - and jingling keys would also trigger the reed switches, the channel change being most irritating - Love your stuff, if I ever get back in another place to build cars, hope you will still have some of them - Would love to have that Chevy Caprice- not for a 'donk' but full a restoration - would make a great replacement for a 2013 Ford Edge -junk when built - makes scrapyards job easy with prebuilt scrap.
Also, the folding bumper was seen on the larger trucks it folded to allow a bottom pivot tailgate to go further down, otherwise as tailgate stops were removed to allow it to go lower then regular bumper would prevent it fully lowering to allow easy loading/un-loading skipping passing the loads over the tailgate.😁
👍🇺🇸😎
boy, that Pymouth Wagon is a solid car!!!! and 70's brown too! But the air deflector is to keep dust off the window, not mud, when you're driving on a dirt road, the vacuum effect will cause dust to accumulate quickly on a Wagon's rear window, the air deflector keeps the flow going and prevents dust from accumulating.
That back vent on the roof is also to keep the exhaust fumes from coming up in car.
I collect the Cadillac offset tire weights. Have many of them.
The whats it is a tool for pointing masonry, bricks or rock. It will put a finish profile to the grout or mud.
That gear lube is sulfur chlorinated lead. As a young engineer at Deere Dubuque I redesigned the 570 grader circle drive gearbox to some casting material with like graphite in it because that fantastic gear lube was being discontinued.
Fascinating history Jeff!
Love the grill on that Plymouth.
I always figured the rear wing was to keep dust from settling on the glass.
Now for me because I’ve watched so much You Tube i Am steadily becoming a Mopar fan. Been Chevy Man since birth but I’m getting closer all the time to Mopar or No Car I’ll always have a love for Chevies Especiallythe 1967 C-10Short bed however they are getting close to being all bought up…. SO TODAY right now I’ll settle FOR A LONG BED and shorten it myself !!!!
👍🏻 yep !!!!! I have a 1986 Silverado 2WD IN REAL SWEET CONDITION ++Real Sweet Condition
At the 44:52 minute mark that is a brick layers jointing tool. Different widths and mortar shapes between your rows of bricks, ie; a brick front fireplace or wall
Nice wagon
I absolutely love that brown Dodge Wagon. Drivers door is easy fix. That will sell easy.
You always find the good stuff I'd kill for the Ford truck and that Vintage boom box
Joe's been a little careless with the treasures there
Wonder if the hinged bumper is for a truck that had a Dump feature ? Don't know if you have ever watched the Chip Channel ? His channel is dedicated to restoring Tonkas. He buys crap like that rusted out truck & makes it look amazing. Good guy to hit up to move the truck & anything else you may come across like that. Ty for taking us along
My great aunt had blinds on the back window of her 65 Galaxie.
The u-joint cage was priceless,I don't think I've ever seen one that wasted... Definately wall of shame...
treasure there mates sweet WAGON
I Think Scott at Coldwarmotors is Looking for a Wagon
He got one
Thanks you for video
Thats where the Brady’s station wagon from the Grand Canyon trip went.
Wasn't the Brady Bunch wagon a Satellite?
@@ernielaw There were 2 different ones and I couldn’t tell you what they were but the later one looked like this one. The earlier one is the one where Carol backed into the guy at the grocery store and tore up the right rear. First one was squarish and boxy and the second one was the Land Yacht pulling the little pop up camper that looked like this one. Whether it was Chrysler/ Plymouth or Dodge they all look the same to this Ford guy. 😉
That wagon has alot of potential with like a 440 and make it a sleeper
As you got the Fury cleaned out she was looking better. Some TLC and a good home she'd be back on the road.
The way I would straighten that door is stuff an Innertubes down inside of it and work it around until it is lined with the damage and then Blow the tube up slow. I have also done caved in Roofs where things ware placed on them. Take a 2" X 6 " board and put them through the windows and take and strap them over the roof from end to end and blow the innertube slowly raising the roof back into shape.
Joe must have one of the best backs around with all that from the sit-down position I really enjoyed the video but please get Joe some gloves he don't need to be bitten by no damn bug
That Joe is a work horse. He doesn't play around when there is work to do.
Dude ,I think fold bumper. Was used as step to step and get stuff out bed eazyer .and 2 fold when u washed truck ,get all salt off in winter time
sell those piano keys at the flea market. Artists and crafters use them!
Rear windfoil also keeps dirt from piling up along rear window weatherstrip and from scratching the glass
Love the treasure hunt , keep.the great vids.
Thanks for stopping by the channel Paul!
Your a brave man when you saw that Brown Recluse thing. I would have done my impression of a 10 year old girl running and screaming away from that car . Do you still have this old girl ? Please let everyone know what you find out out about the wagon.
Well that was cool
With the Special Equipment stuff on the wagon, maybe it was a Government car or something used for the State. I'd definitely research this car. Very cool. Radio delete ?
I Ike old Chryslers but it was a mistake to pass on the safari wagon. Like I said only 1200 or so built plus some parts will fit on a nomad. Course I’d never part it out
The one guy just tears stuff up
I Hurd of u from adventure made from scratch, channel, he's cute
31:01 toys !!!!
What is tool is for dressing mortar in between bricks
I liked the 1958 Caddie
2:24 It's not hard to tell which buyers are amateurs. Just drag it and hope nothing gets torn off rather than installing rollers.
27:32 Looks as though the forklift is due for some heavy maintenance. It appears to be chuffing a bit of oil
43:40 Chicken of the Sea is a packager and provider of seafood, owned by the Thai Union Group in Samut Sakhon, Thailand
My guess on the what's it corner is a corn husker.
On the TV,, you can still find tubes, they were used in Eastern Europe into the 90s so you can find them, but they can't recieve anything anymore, the only thing those old TV's can be used for is as a display.....maybe connect a VHS or Sony Beta to it and watch old VHS tapes, but they just aren't compatible with Today's Free TV broadcasts from Towers.
A person who has nothing wants everything, but a person who has everything needs nothing..
The Fury wagons used names such as Custom Suburban or Sport Suburban if it had the wood grain. If your fury is base model it should have the Suburban name written somewhere.
What was that item for the wall of shame. It looked like star .
It was a universal joint from a driveshaft
I've got one of that same Tootsietoy dump truck! Cool stuff. BTW, did you guys find the keys to those oar locks?
Well there's people I relate to on You Tube; and then there's Tim; who I feel like; is a Brother I grew up with. I'd say I'm also a junk-a-holic....
Once you get all the stuff out of that station wagon the tires are just pop right back up with the weight off
I wish
It's easy to count old cars if you have a bunch, just add the flats and divide by four
Looks like a bearing scraper.
Special. Order would be the 360 for fuel economy the 383 or 400 b is the actual base engine and the 440 was premium it looks like a company or civil servant car it actually looks to be in decent shape the air foil on the back is to keep exhaust fumes out of the interior .
Note to self, never leave a Tube TV sit on its back.
I THINK , that car has something everybody can use? Yes! There's a lot of junk in it!
The yellow toolbox looks WWII military! If you care to part with it, contact me.
Guy in green shirt is flighty...makes you nervous.
A not-stuck Stromberg 97 is a good score, I'd be thrilled to find one of those randomly. Was fun to watch the cleanout. What was the 4 eared "wall of shame" thing?
Absolute worn out universal joint.
A 1957 Pontiac 2dr wagon, and that's not you're title?
This video was Part 2. There was more footage of that Pontiac in Part 1.
It was a neat car, just not something I was crazy over. It sold around $1500, and you never know how high they would have bid above that
One man's trash is another man's trash.
Love me some Dodge Trucks 🛻!!!!!!!!!
Nice Haul Tim Call me Back about the 35 Pontiac
This guy is crackin me up he is cleaning out the car and blocking himself in the car LMAO
Tv will make a great cat hangout once tube is removed
I once went around looking for coke , Pepsi, Dr pepper, Root beer cork bottle cap in good to fair condition I found some $12. " For 8 ; also found old coke, Pepsi, squirt bottle and old karosine lamps, etc
If gas prices were low, I would totally find a 70's land yacht to restore.
How about don't let gas prices made by the president control whether you have fun or not. Go do it anyway, I just bought a 44,000 miles original 1978 grand marquis, and I'm not made of money but it makes me smile and that's what counts for me.
@@nickzobel9922 Good find, bet it didn't require restoration.
Mr. B. Here ! Unless you are going to drive 7 days a week you are missing out ! 😢 I have two 1958 super 88 ; 1984 two dr Delta rat rod ! A hold lot of fun !

You could fix that door. It doesn't look bad. The patina might not match.
that tool is for working lead
My thoughts too , union in Chicago was still leading in water main taps for services till as almost 1990 I've heard !
If you do gut the Zenith Space command TV keep the chassis, even though the crt (screen) got necked (broken), those space commands are very rare and desirable and if you repurpose the tv someone in the future could put it back together if you keep the chassis, and you could find a new crt for, and just like old cars these old TVs are getting rarer every day with people repurposing them into fish tanks, bars, and cat beds. They’re getting more expensive too, I’ve seen eBay listing for these old sets reaching $1,000….
Edit: Zenith Space commands of this era also used asbestos as heat shields, so be careful removing it…
It was sold to a man in Kansas City, to be a static display in his personal museum of audio/visual equipment
With that Toy Truck you should get a bunch of rusted old toy vehicles n build a model n say this is how Rust Ranch Started when you were a Kid 😆 😆
I built a 1/25 scale model car junkyard diorama in high school. It's possible to get way more detail in plastic
@@mr.goodpliers6988 That's So Cool n I Build a wrecking n city n train set n now I have a Tow Truck lots of Vehicles to n lots of Properties
What a great pick at the auction! Whatbfif you get from the other auction? Also, do you have any listing of cars that you have for sale?
Whatzit corner, my guess is a scribe, probably for metal?????
