Oh man I used to find all kinds of stuff when I worked at the junkyard!! And you'd find it in the oddest of places! Found a quarter pound of weed and $400 cash in the pocket behind a passenger seat. Found a .380 handgun and little bags of crack cocaine under the front driver seat of an infiniti. High dollar shoes, clothes, electronics, you name it!!! I was one of the best parts of the job was being able to dig through all the cars!!!😁
Knowing you enjoy the treasure hunts makes it even more enjoyable for us.😃 Your videos are always great to watch, Silas. Have a good rest of your week.
Nice video love watching you dig through those old cars you can sometimes find some really good stuff in those old junk cars. Keep the videos coming enjoy watching them and ur adventures.
One thing I always loved. Working at a salvage yard. Was going through the cars and trucks when they would. Come in. Found a lot of cool stuff over the years. One time we got in a old car. We thought we checked it out pretty good. Well the elderly women's son came down their asking if we still had the car? Come to find out the women didn't trust banks and used the car to keep her life savings in!!! I don't remember how much it was. But it was several thousand.
Congratulations on your look inside of other old junks. Some people just amaze me on how they live personally... to see them out they are just two different people. I sure wish I were the young man that I used to be... some of your junk would be my junk
Trinkets - Goodies - Treasures - You never know what You may find next Time when You pop the Truck or look under the Seats ! Well done and many Cheers from us in Australia !!!!
I love those rocks. I'm a bit of a rock collector. I love your treasure hunts. It makes you wonder what gets left in vehicles. You simply don't have time to comb through all of them. You can bet if you didn't want that can of beer to explode it would have. And that bottle! I couldn't believe it didn't bust the first time you threw it! 😆 You have to strike while the iron is hot but it sure keeps you hopping! Always good to see a video from you. Stay safe and GOD bless
Call it like it is! Pigs are pigs! I once knew a man that rented houses. Before he rented a house to someone he would casually stroll over to their car and peek inside. If it had cap strewn all about he would come up with some reason why he had no vacancies. Worked like a charm he said.
God I just love your video's! It's fun to be part of the treasure hunt for money and things you find. Thank you for sharing your work adventures. Wayne from Ottawa Canada.
Love the treasure hunts! Silas you crack me up when you find things 🤣 Your personality is great and vedios are very entertaining. Thanks for taking time to show us what you do daily. Looking forward to the farm clean up also. Be safe 🙏
Good morning, Silas. I enjoy watching your video's. My grandson would love to watch you crush cars, he's 12, when I was his age, my uncle would take me to junk yards. That knife you found is a Linoleum Knife. Have a wonderful day and an adventurous week.
Thanks for sharing your videos! Always entertaining! You need a magnet on an extension stick and maybe a small pen light. Magnet end is about the size of a dime. You won’t have to reach your hand into tight spaces.
Good suggestions, but the magnet wouldn't help with the money. American coins are non ferrous, meaning non magnetic. Definitely need a flashlight, though. I use a headlamp when I do things like that.
I see that Black Ford Focus in the background, i love those little cars they are super easy to find parts for and easy to work on and maintain , awesome video by the way
Cool! You never know what you’ll find ! I have done body and paint for 30+ years and I would find all sorts of crazy things in cars people brought in to be fixed! You’d think they would clean out some of the inappropriate items, but most don’t care if you see it, weird!✊😁
I love digging in cars! I have found alot of junk. The best thing I found was $12,500 cash. I found lots of phones 3 or 4 good ones. When ever I find a bullet, it makes me recheck every where in case the gun is hiding good.
Silas, wear gloves when digging in the vehicles, they save from the "nasties", and any nicks you might get from the metal objects. ..I love your video content, and have you setup for all notifications!
Morning Silas, that white car looks like they could have been living in it...pretty sad....it also looks like they were pretty shady..the cell phone adapters can be expensive...be safe!!! God Bless!!!
I seriously enjoy all the videos that you have done and being a owner of an old f250 4x4 I've not seen many of the trucks that I have but I sure appreciate the time you put into these videos keep up the great job
I like your car searches I've been doing that since I was a kid and I'm 71 now it all started with my parents car we used to go to church my dad give us the money to put in the in the tray and of course we had no slip pockets on the dress pants and a money would fall out in the seats man I must found $15 worth of change in a car and that started a lifelong passion for digging in car seats and sofas and easy chairs I love it
That Blue Rock you just had a hold of that is amethyst as in a crystal they are expensive that's cool you felt those cell phones you have a great day friend
If you haven’t crushed this car yet go back to the passenger side, on the floor was another one of those microphone iPhone adapters. Thanks for another fun video!
Phones and knives are always good items to have. You do get a lot of cars in to crush but I do like the older ones you get. Thanks for the great video.
Everybody is saying that the purple stone is an amethyst...it could be. However, fluorite is another stone is often found in the green color (1st rock you showed), as well as purple. I have a necklace with a fluorite stone that blends from purple, to clear, and then to green. I have no idea what mineral the little rock geode was, but it was awesome, and I'd keep it just the way it is. Fun video!
All your videos get a thumbs up Silas. I click on your video then click the thumbs up, then click play and watch. Became a subscriber a few months back and you have not had any content I didn't like. My favourite ones are the farm clean outs though, because I to do property clean outs and they are a great treasure hunt.
Silas! I'm disappointed you didn't want the French fry🤮! I always get a kick out of your discovery episodes. Keep those Hot Wheels and look them up. Some are worth some serious bucks. That old GMC had a fantastic seat from what I could tell. Those old V-6 engines were heavy beasts, super high torque, low RPM motors. Just don't overheat them. They have almost a cult following. They make a V-12 out of two of those motors also. Rare and worth bucks too. When I was in the Air Force they had missile transporters that had the 12's in them. Cheers Terry
Your video content is always entertaining to watch, and I really love the cool trucks you get in, I would want to save them all. As always, I am really looking forward to the next installment. David in the U.K.
We have a You Pull It Yard in my state. It's a big one. My friend and I were there the day they rotated the inventory. We went through the cars. Found a few Owners Manuals a few tools and one car I went into I found $19 dollars in change . Great video.
Silas! Do your homework, Bro!! Dollar coins, Half-dollars, quarters, dimes and nickels to 1964 are 90% silver!!! 1965 to 1969 quarters, dimes & nickels are 40% silver... Also, Pennies before 1984 are mostly copper. Afterwards they are colored zinc.
The knife you found is a linoleum knife , or vynle flooring knife. I use one to cut heater hoses off vehicles when I'm replacing the hoses cause you can start right up against the firewall.
It’s called a hawkbill knife, they make one for cutting the putty out of a broken wooden window and removing the debris, they also make one for cutting and trimming linoleum and type places, so there’s about eight or 10 different types made for specialized fields of, That looks like one for glasswork for cleaning the puddy out of all windows and getting the old glass out and getting it ready to put in a new piece of glass. I keep one on my desk for opening packages and boxes actually does a better job than a regular knife and because the way it’s made there’s less chance of damaging the stuff inside. Great little product.
Part of my storage yard is a tow yard. I get to go through the cars before they are hauled off to the wrecking yard and I find the same items like you find.
Thanks for the fun video Silas! You need to get yourself a plastic 5-gallon jug to keep all your "treasure hunt" money in to save for a trip to Disney World!
Awesome upload Silas, I collect Hot Wheels and Matchbox, and other various die-cast cars....different scales as well. If you ever come across any, let me know. As always Silas...keep these vlogs rollin' in, we definitely look fwd to them posting.
The Marshalltown large curved blade knife is made for cutting heavy asphalt roofing. That is a fancy one, I grew up with wooden handled ones in Maine. Marshalltown makes contractor duty hand tools. Love your show and especially the variety. Bless You and Yours.
Being in the salvage business myself years ago I noticed something, it seemed the most down on their luck people left the best stuff in their cars.
Dead or in Prison. Can't collect their belongings in either case...

Some of your cars have beautiful real leather bucket seats. We old hotrodders love those. Yep!🥸🤓
That's a nice Marshalltown linoleum knife - made in Marshalltown, Iowa USA! My Pappy was born there in 1914. Best plastering tools you can buy.
God I just love your video's! It's fun to be part of the treasure hunt for money and things you find. Thank you for sharing your work adventures. Wayne from Ottawa Canada.

I think we all enjoy the "JYTH" it's amazing what people leave floating in their cars at the pound
Cool! You never know what you’ll find ! I have done body and paint for 30+ years and I would find all sorts of crazy things in cars people brought in to be fixed! You’d think they would clean out some of the inappropriate items, but most don’t care if you see it, weird!✊😁

Absolutely loved the finds and as always your videos!

Stumbled across you're Channel! This is fun too watch!!😊
That was a really fun car. Thanks for the video
I think you should have tested the small refrigerator. Guess you didn't need it.
Carefull with your hands but you should check under the front seats too!
👍👍👍
Definitely! I just don’t show the entire process on camera, or the video would be over an hour.
That’s really cool seeing what some just leave behind. Great video. Silas you make some really interesting videos. Looking forward to more.
That Blue Rock you just had a hold of that is amethyst as in a crystal they are expensive that's cool you felt those cell phones you have a great day friend
Good video Silas. My favorite part was the GMC truck and the treasure hunt!!
Hi my friend. Great find. The fridge mite work. I really wished you had a ND a good runng and driving car.
What an interesting bit of car archeology, very exiting ! Greetings from Ukraine !
I do like watching your videos. You are doing what I always wanted to do as a career. And you you have a good outlook on life.
I like all of the information you impart. 👍
If you haven’t crushed this car yet go back to the passenger side, on the floor was another one of those microphone iPhone adapters. Thanks for another fun video!
That is a cool truck! Don't scrap it, fix it and drive it around, it's beautiful 😍
I agree that truck is really nice but he may not be able to if it has a salvage title as it would make it more costly for him to insure it.
Phones and knives are always good items to have. You do get a lot of cars in to crush but I do like the older ones you get. Thanks for the great video.
Thank you so much for your videos. Watching from Lagos Nigeria. They are fun to watch

Your video content is always entertaining to watch, and I really love the cool trucks you get in, I would want to save them all. As always, I am really looking forward to the next installment.
David in the U.K.
I've found plenty of full cans in my time collecting cans. Your way to empty them is the most fun.
That purple stone might be a amethyst. Have it checked.
We have a You Pull It Yard in my state. It's a big one. My friend and I were there the day they rotated the inventory. We went through the cars. Found a few Owners Manuals a few tools and one car I went into I found $19 dollars in change . Great video.
Solid frame 4Runner, Nice score Silas, easiest flip ever.
My favourite item was Indestructible Breweries Lite Beer 2000. The cans are very solid.
Cool early mk1 vw rabbit at 6:32 sad to see it in the scrap but I guess that’s life
I love hotwheels, I metal detect and find them all the time.
Knife is one we used for cutting/laying linoleum, carpeting and roofing shingles. Also doing hoofs. But that would bf dangerous.
Silas! There's a dime on the floor where that zippered thingy was!
Only Kennedy’s did the 40% thing. All other coins stopped being silver after 1964. Silver nickels do exist but they are very old and rare.
Silas, you're a brave man! Sticking your hands down in those nasty old car pockets 🤮. Hey Silas, how come you don't have any junkyard dogs 🐕?
you need to check those bags with the gold stitching like the purple one in 24:24
The knife you found is a linoleum knife , or vynle flooring knife. I use one to cut heater hoses off vehicles when I'm replacing the hoses cause you can start right up against the firewall.

awesome stuff man, i once found a Cobra Trapshooter in a old Pontiac. weird stuff you can find in cars
At Sparkle Brite Carwash we would accidently vacuum up some of the spare change on the dash or in the ashtray
Well fooey. Your hand was so close to that middle knob or switch on the dash of that old truck but you didn't say what it was. Cool finds!
Pretty wild, the things people leave in their cars, LOL!
Part of my storage yard is a tow yard. I get to go through the cars before they are hauled off to the wrecking yard and I find the same items like you find.
I love this Show !
Thanks for the fun video Silas! You need to get yourself a plastic 5-gallon jug to keep all your "treasure hunt" money in to save for a trip to Disney World!
That knife was a hawk bill. I've seen em used for cutting sod before. Don't know it's worth. Thanks for sharing 👍👍

New subscriber!! Much respect to you man👊🏽I could treasure hunt daily out there! Eventually you'll find a briefcase full of money 💰 😂.

That purple rock is probably amethyst. Great treasure hunt!
Those rocks look like crystals that people believe have healing, soothing, relaxing and other health and healing properties.
Nice score on that Mazda.
That el camino is a keeper 💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🙈👀👁
