I agree with you - very sad. The saddest thing to me was how callously he threw aside the photos - right into the trash pile. Did this woman not have a family?! Those photos have more true "value" - they are priceless - than everything else in there - at least to someone... For all the scrounging they were doing neither of them thought to look through the photos - which could very well have contained money also. 😮 There is nothing wrong with acquiring a storage unit n selling to make a profit. But, if there are family pictures why not, at the very least, put a bit of effort into finding the person or family member - if deceased - to return them to. The storage companies are not bound to privacy laws, n if all else fails, the police department could assist. Personally, I wonder how some people can sleep at night... What I really wonder is, what happened to the woman? Did she pass away? Or was she just not able to pay storage fees? I just came upon this video n it happens to be part "2."
@Natalie Nunez I am so terribly sorry for your losses. I do so understand, because the same - similar - thing happened to us, sadly, MORE than once... Hard times happen n occasionally one can recoup fast enough to salvage a semblance of their life/livelihood, but for many not so...😭 I just happen to be the latter...on more than one occasion - over the years. Many a memories from photos to birth certificates/records - hospital ones with my children's itty bitty feet prints; irreplaceable, as well as absolute valuables - a rather lengthy list containing collectables, collections, n sentimental items, gone - in the blink of an eye. It is haunting just how much of the belongings we have lost crosses my mind n constantly humbles me n makes me choke up at the thought of this type of thing happening to others... Most of us realize for the most part it's just stuff...but to us it is our story, our mementos of our lives, part of our legacy - especially, prized possessions from loved ones lost. I am glad to hear that you n yours are doing financially better n hope your good fortune continues. ✌
Yes I felt that too. Especially the photo. I'd hate to think someone would toss my stuff like that and all those valentine's cards she was obviously well loved
Really really makes me sad watching this. cuz I have stuff in storage myself for the last eight years nine years and here in Arizona is just too hot to go through and I don't have a vehicle to put stuff in from the storage and this is just makes me so sad them going through all that personal stop!!!
Our last move I was recovering from four surgeries. We had low bank account (thanks Obama) and barely made it! Someone stole my jewelry, so much “stuff”…..I didn’t even realize for two years! I didn’t feel like unpacking! What did I learn? It’s all just stuff! Be grateful for what you have today! Go out and make new memories! Don’t sit and grieve over old pictures and grandpa’s shirt! He wouldn’t want you to! Thank God for what you do have every morning and every night! Your life will get better and better! I promise! 🙏❤️😂 Namaste These people meant no harm. They were excited to buy the contents of a storage unit! It’s like an egg hunt! They were just having fun! “Two men looked from prison bars. One saw mud, the other saw stars.”
I bet all that loose change added up to a good total. I would check it all for silver (pre 1965), judging on how old the cards and stamps are. Stamps are always useful. You will make a sweet profit on that unit.
That empty ring box was kicking BOTH of your asses! lol Oh lord am I bored, watching these videos.... I'm giving a 'THUMB UP' for the laughs! Thanks guys!
First time watching and Papa is the sweetest soul I’ve come across, watching this takes me back to finding treasures at car boots sales as a young girl with my late Gramps. Love from England, stay safe in these uncertain times
Maybe you could hold on to the photos in case some family comes back for them not knowing their grandmother owned a storage ? Maybe just for a little while? That happened to me, I lost everything into storage when an ex stopped paying his half of the bill and didn’t tell me about it. Lost tons of my childhood items and it crushed me. Cool find though!!! 👏🏼😄
Those stamps would be collector stamps!!! All it is is about the money, when there are so many vintage and antique and amazing finds that you’re just throwing away.
you need to go through that "trash pile" with a fine toothed comb. probably $1500 in there. people like that will stash cash in any spot, just not in plain sight all the time. look behind every picture frame, in every sock, behind any box fillers, like the one you tossed when you saw it was empty, but did not look behind the box filler.
The vintage/ antique valentine and birthday cards have more value if left in the original envelopes. All crafting goods are valuable espcially vintage. Get a camera stand so you can both use both hands.
Love watching your channel man it's amazing all this brand new stuff inside that unit and you have such a great heart to bring Papa with you you're an amazing guy God bless you and your family keep doing what you're doing take care of that old man he's vintage he's worth more than what's in those units God bless him can't wait to see the next video watching all the way from Spain peace out

My god I would have freaked out over finding that much brand new branded embroidery thread. Can never have enough variety of colors. And yes those are realistic prices on those embroidery software, especially the Digitizing one. That stuff is expensive, and if it can still be used (if the product keys aren't used/invalid) you've got an easy bit of profit right there.
The disk he threw out before finding those looked like they belong to computerized embroidery machines. As did the starter kits her tossed. He could have gotten money for those even if used. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

I love paw paw. Too funny. Gets distracted easily and keeps me laughing!
first time watching thoroughly enjoyed your dad ,he is amazing reminds me of my dad ,great to see Father and son together he can teach us the appreciation of everything found .well done thanks for the enjoyment x
Dad's making more money in stamps than you found in cash 🤣
"It's like what I used to get when I was a puppy."
How completely adorable is Paw Paw?
I hope you know all the old Valentine's Day and birthday cards are probably worth some money
How?
I'm liking this. Enjoy your dad and let him know it. Modern day treasure hunters. Now that is an adventure.
Your dad is an asset to the whole thing he’s so nice and smart you guys together are the best keep those video coming
Did you look at the date on the coins?! You’re killing me!!!
That’s not a “hoarder” . The stuff she saved was not junk.
Hoarding is an mental health issue. Shop a acholics. Accumulated items and getting a storage unit full of new or old items. Is considered hoarding!!

Your dad is the sweetest .
I enjoyed your video! But honestly I got even more joy out of pawpaw than anything. Thank you for sharing him with those of us who's lost ours! I miss both of mine for very different reasons! But had nothing but respect for them! Cant wait to see them again someday!💞
Really enjoyed watching!
25:26 Your phone came in perfect 😂 sounded like you gained an achievement finding that 20 😂
So true 😂😂😂😂
So sad that this was someone's life.
There is nothing wrong with acquiring a storage unit n selling to make a profit.
I like how when you got to going through the blue zip bank bag pawpaw just started saying, "stamps" with his hand out.
LoOoOoOoL
That's the way my mom talks to me...but theres some special love behind their actions
Your Grandfather was such a delight to watch. Great locker and wonderful memories together.
I bet all that loose change added up to a good total. I would check it all for silver (pre 1965), judging on how old the cards and stamps are. Stamps are always useful. You will make a sweet profit on that unit.
Oh all the sewing materials! I'm hyperventilating! 😂
Me too!
Your Paw Paw is adorable. I wish I had a Paw Paw. I never knew my grandparents. You are so blessed.
Best part is when dude said, "dumb ass". 😂😂
People that do collage art often buy vintage photos, too.
Your pops is like Red Forman from that 70s show, you can tell he loves ya but he’ll call you dumbass when he thinks ya need it lmfao
Digging in my garage recently I found 4 old payroll checks from a hospital I worked at 20 years ago, unfortunately doesn’t exist anymore
Sir..you are so anxious that you gave me a panick attack!
Those old Valentine's cards will sell! Crafters love to use them for projects!
As a card maker/crafter, I was like "no! Dont throw that away! That would be perfect for my journal cover! Lol
Those stamps would be collector stamps!!! All it is is about the money, when there are so many vintage and antique and amazing finds that you’re just throwing away.
You know people can come up with some pretty clever ways of hiding money that means you have to come up with some pretty clever ways of looking for it
Haha I like the old man. He's so happy getting those stamps. Reminds me of my dad. Always had old stamps lying around
Adore your dad. I couldn't stop watching to see what you would find. Great video, Thank you for sharing. Kind thoughts from Australia
you need to go through that "trash pile" with a fine toothed comb. probably $1500 in there.
people like that will stash cash in any spot, just not in plain sight all the time. look behind every picture frame, in every sock, behind any box fillers, like the one you tossed when you saw it was empty, but did not look behind the box filler.
I have a feeling he is throwing hard cash away. Not thorough enough.
The vintage/ antique valentine and birthday cards have more value if left in the original envelopes. All crafting goods are valuable espcially vintage. Get a camera stand so you can both use both hands.
Everytime he says stamps it melts my heart my grandma loved stamps I got he stamp book when she passed
viewing I see Papa does have a sense of humor. I like it. Bless his hat.
That starter embroidery tray is NOT TRASH !!! Man I would love to get into all that stuff !!
21:10 He done called him a dumbass🤣 Love it! So cute❤️
Love watching your channel man it's amazing all this brand new stuff inside that unit and you have such a great heart to bring Papa with you you're an amazing guy God bless you and your family keep doing what you're doing take care of that old man he's vintage he's worth more than what's in those units God bless him can't wait to see the next video watching all the way from Spain peace out
Glad to have you here Leroy! May God bless you too. Hello from across the pond!
My OCD is killing me! Lol. You need some organization when you go through these units! Lol. Pretty awesome finds! These units were definitely worth your money!
Holey Cow!!! Thats a lot of stuff!!! Oooo Love the thread!
Omg papa🤣🤣🤣🤣
I must definitely be a hoarder. There are things you said was “trash” that I would have kept and could have used. Lol.
Word
If you could have used the things, you're not hoarding, are u?
I learned about dumpster diving a couple years ago and the things and I have found are amazing now I have started in eBay store selling things just around the house and such and donating a lot of the stuff that I find if it wasn't for my daughter's intervening I will definitely become a hoarder lol...
@@mamarobyn I LOVE dumpster divin'! I lost my partner in crime for dumpster divin' and "midnight trash pickup".....tried to get my son to take me, but he refuses....want him to take me to the school dumpsters for divin', cuz he has special intel on the best school dumpsters. You wouldn't believe what our public schools throw away!
@@MeagainIA2011 OMG I can only imagine.....I just scored a whole new bedroom from pier one....I have been so blessed by diving.... I don't dive for food personally...Well, there has been a couple times where I've grabs a bag of chips but a few people I know literally never have to shop for groceries the waste is unbelievable and if they can make use of it I say go for it.
True
The disk he threw out before finding those looked like they belong to computerized embroidery machines. As did the starter kits her tossed. He could have gotten money for those even if used. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
Tell your dad he did a fine job filming.
Papa is the best. We all get called dumb ass so. Lol. I was just thinking how many storage locker peeps bring their grandparents. I bet they just love doing this stuff. They’re helping and having fun with you looking for treasures. ❤
Great video ☺️ the video is so good and you and your father are so amazing working together 💓 keep up the good work and thanks for making the video be safe and have a wonderful day
Your dad is smarter than u keeping the stamps. That's like throwing away money!!!
Exactly! Throwing away usable stamps is silly! Glad he took them.
30:11 I myself love coins and know alot about them but did you think the coins in that brown envelope were rare? Why would they be in there
I’m a newbie and I’m hooked! Love your pawpaw, you two make a great team. 👍
Just came in my feed. That's alot to go thru but fun watching y'all especially paw paw. Those diamond earrings @2432....yes as you were moving them around I could see the different colors...red, blue, yellow, green. Good find.
