You need to stop worrying about everybody if they don't want it, screw on crush it. You gotta make money, that is what you and business for you're not there to hoard all these cars. If people don't want to pay the price, they don't get it.

I buy stuff for scrap here and there i dont even try to resell nothing anymore ppl wont even pay junk price so its much easier to haul it straight to the crusher get my money with zero b.s

You didn’t temporarily lose the loader, you gained further experience with the excavator. Sure the loader could do it faster but now you know you can multi-task while driving the excavator backwards

I have convex spot mirrors in my loader cab, mounted up high in the corners. as in big truck spot mirrors. I can see who or what is behind me all the time.

Silas, when i was selling on Ebay and I was getting overwhelmed with just 10 items listed!
I found it easier to make sure of sending correct item is to put paper tags with the item # on it as i was listing them...😊
Yeah we use that kind of inventory when I sold on ebay. But I quit eBay 10 years ago. I would not sell my store to my competitors because I did not want them to screw my customer base.

Set your ebay listings so they stay active when sold out. If the person doesn't pay you can reset quantities and you won't lose the other watchers like you would relisting closed items.

I know how you feel! I sell new auto parts and people always want quality parts at junk prices. They say what do you mean 135.00 for a remand alternator I can find it for like 35.00 bucks and I just laugh

@adventuresmadefromscratch you need a boom pole for your skid steer, I worked at a salvage yard for over 8 years and while we had a Cat it28g I preferred the bobcat 743 with boom pole inside the yard for moving vehicles, we had a set of V chains on the clevis of the boom pole and you could move a vehicle in the tightest quarters with ease. You could raise the arms and tip the pole most of the way down and even go at an angle farther than 90 degrees. Only needed 2 wheels on the vehicle as well.

I might want to buy that old Dodge panel truck. I think maybe I’ll stop by there sometime within the next 50 or 60 years. Just hold it for me, and keep it inside so it doesn’t rust away. That’s what some people seem to be thinking.

Ah ... Silas why didn't you lift that customline up and put some old wheels and tires on the back ? You realize the guy with the axle left the tailgate open and passed out from carbon monoxide a couple miles down the road. Can't believe no one wanted the panel truck. A cool camera angle would be on the underside of the excavator boom. Till next time ... Cheers 🍻😎

Been a lot easier if the guy who bought that rear end would have rented a small trailer at UHaul for $19 bucks.
Concerning saving mediocre trucks like the Chevy OBS. Why crush potential future classics when you have a huge stack of later model cars waiting to be crushed in that pile. I think until you crush all the junkers piled up, you should save anything that might increase in value. Just my opinion. I think the more you show on the videos, later on down the road someone will see it and reach out to you to buy it. Have a great day, Dave

Yes, I actually tripled my prices on most of the parts on that truck on eBay and they sold within a week. I definitely need to stop listing stuff so cheap.

You need to find a trust worthy Mexican connection. They pay big money in Mexico for any type of pickup trucks running or parts I worked for a guy in Arizona who had a connection all legal and would Shipp trucks to Mexico and was quite lucrative and. Over in Africa any cars running or not big money even shipped a semi trailer with cars in it I drove from Chicago to Baltimore to the shipping port. And he made alot of money off just three vehicles but he had a connection in Africa. Just something to look into it's a little more involved but you can make insane money sending vehicles to those two places.
