Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing you guys attempt this again in a better river with an actual fiber glass kayak. Or two, one for each. That would absolutely slap.
Or make a hide one and the do it, could make a series of it from building the frame to tanning the hide to stretching it and then using it that would be awsome

Yeah, I had some spec treatments written for Top Gear and/or Grand Tour. Now that that's not going to happen it'd be fun to have these guys do it. But, the way I wrote it, it'd be best to get the entire enterprise involved and include AutoAlex & TDC. Want to see "the boys" buy cheap pick up trucks in Jacksonville FL, and drive to Pensacola, FL by way of Key West and avoiding all Interstate System roads. They can only take State and County roads. In Daytona, they can drive on the beach. And the theme would be make a UFO/Paranormal Hunter vehicle. Plenty of old haunted cities in Central Florida. And UFOs are all over. Also a ton of old Florida attractions off the beaten path like Weeki Wachee Springs and Coral Castle.

You know what I will say. I wasn't a fan of either of them when on CT... kinda always knew I somewhat liked them but just not for "this". Well these two guys need a round of applause because they have found it! THIS is it for Ethan & Jack. Hope they end up massive. They deserve it

That this ostensibly started as a car channel and is now just 'Ethan and Jack go on holiday and fart about' is excellent and I love it.

I think I've figured out what i love about this channel. You find a very simple idea, then just do it.

I used to not enjoy watching Ethan because he was never a full car guy, but a guy roped in with car people.
This is what Ethan should've always been, someone who loves to explore and push the limits of discomfort. This is the content I enjoy and the Ethan that I enjoy!
Nah I'm pretty sure Ethan is a car guy. I think he was playing the "straight man" role so jokes and situations could bounce between him Jack and Alex.
A lot of Car Throttle's early successful videos have Alex and Ethan in a car with Ethan acting like a complete idiot and it's stuck from there.

Some Local Councils offer schemes like equipment loans or litter picking events.
It's very satisfying to see a physical change you make to your area. You can help animals from choking or getting trapped, children and pets getting injured from broken glass or bent metal. It's worth it!
Surely this deserves a part 2 with Andes cousin picking up from where you had to abandon ship. It looked like it had started to be fun and it'd be great to see if you make it.

That went exactly how I thought it would go. A few years ago, I tried a similar adventure. I wanted to solo canoe down the river near where I worked. I started a mile or so up stream and basically encountered every obstacle the boys did as well as a few beaver dams and small waterfalls. But instead of a small cheap inflatable kayak, I was in a 19 foot long canoe. Oh, and about fifteen minutes in, I capsized and ruined my phone. All in all, it took me about 2 hours to navigate about a mile and a half of creek/river. still a great time, I might try it again somewhere else.
This is the wierdest channel, but i kind of like it,travel, cars, adventure, and an inflatable! hahaha mad but strangley like it.x

I’m glad you both have been doing a mix of car videos and adventure videos! You can clearly see you’re enjoying yourselves! Maybe not when you’re carrying a kayak through a big paddle but any other times you can see you’re having fun😂
do the straight line challenge
Could even be an interesting cross-channel challenge. Find a bit of land you can walk across, but also has a very long road route to the other side. AA does regular road, TDC uses their crap off-roaders and ATG walks it. Last buys lunch.

This is the channel that RUclips didn't know it needed!! it's pennies and gullies right now (Excluding the Iceland stuff, which was incredible), but if it grows like it has been doing, it's going to be a global success. How many of the TopGear/Grand Tour specials were really about cars, and not actually about the mates battling through, having a laugh and taking us along for the journey!

Love it guys. A lot of channels only upload if things go perfectly, or make sure things go perfectly. This is way more real and entertaining if you just go out and try things. If you don't beat the challenge, you don't have to win every time. It's still an entertaining video.

This is easily the best channel out of the AA group, I find myself laughing so much more here because of the dynamic you two have. It goes to show when your videos have been right at the top of my recommended feed since day one, to the point I've only just realized I wasn't even subscribed.

The bush bashing downstream is what I used to do for a living, no canoe though, just the waders and mapping equipment. Never too much fun, especially with the venomous snakes we have here in Australia, though seeing platypus is always worth it.

i walk creeks, and the more you walk one part, the faster it gets for some reason. i remember the first time walking a creek i made it 47% of the way and it felt like 2 hours, then i made it 93% of the way and it felt like 30 minutes, then i made it to the first checkpoint [a bridge] and it felt like 10 minutes.

Top tip, use expanding foam to inflate the boat. This will make it super durable. The only downfall is, it cant be deflated and stored away easily ❤
