New camera looks great, thanks Silas for taking us along for the day. Everything that you do is excellent content for me the shut in. I'll gladly go along for the ride. God Bless you and your family and stay safe.
Hi Silas: So the new camera seems great! After you reset the resolution though, the video did not seem as crisp to me. But both parts were good, plenty of visibility in the low light situations, and the audio was fine also. Score on the $300 Dakota beater! I need something similar, but being in California that $300 truck immediately is worth $1800 (at least the sellers would think so) LOL
The last man to touch all that stuff looks like a very organized and professional. My he rest in peace. Those items are how that man made a living. RIP my brother.
🇺🇲🇲🇽🇵🇷😎 i was hoping you'd find a couple pistols underneath the see, and when you cut the lock, I was hoping a 223 rifle and a nice assortment of shotguns. Love your videos that kansas cold wind is a little too much for me😅.. Hope you have another great year!!!!
That Dakota was a major score for you!! My 1997 Dakota lasted for 279 thousand miles when I sold it and that person I sold it to says it is still going strong three years later!! Love the videos, one of these days when I get to Kansas I will stop by and buy a few things. Thanks again for making the videos, I have been watching for over three years now and I enjoy every one!! Stay safe, hug the dog for me. I am retired ol ron, living the chilly life here in Alaska.
The KOSet alone is about 200.00. That was the price when I retired 14 years ago. Lots of good expensive tools in that box. I can tell he was a good craftsman by the top of the line tools he work with and the way he stored them.
Dressed up and working on the battery, you looked like Clark Kent. Hope the '98 Dakota 4cyl 5spd manual works out for you as well as my 98 S-10 pickup that I bought new did. It was a workhorse, for only having the Iron Duke engine.
i'm a packrat when it comes to tools and such.. wasn't a thing in that tool box I wouldn't have kept .. the forsner bits are expensive as well as the long Auger bits.. the extension fits the augers with the morse taper ends on em..
That’s not true anymore. It used to be that batteries were made of hard rubber and other materials that would deteriorate. The batteries would sometimes self discharge. Now it’s perfectly fine to leave a battery directly on concrete. The show, Mythbusters, had an episode about this. However, all batteries will self discharge if you leave it sit for a long time without charging it.
He was an electrician!! The sta con plyers are top quality!! So is the yellow box of crimp connectors !! Keep em !! More like at least 500 bucks of stuff easy man
You got a good price for the truck at the sale. Best of luck with your new run around truck It should work out fine for you. Yes your kids will have fun with the farm jungle gym Smart move all around.
Sorta sad to see things that the owner had locked in his toolbox. Important to him at one time but not now. Guess his family wasn’t interested in the things he had. Must’ve had all daughters. I’m sorry for their loss. 🙏🇺🇸
You have the wildest luck when it comes to batteries. I've lost track of how many videos center around a bad battery in your equipment. Guaranteed that whatever you get for the truck. Subtract $2000-3000 for what you buy at that auction. Can't wait to see what you drag home.
I actually didn't spend that much at the auction, but I almost spent $2,000 on something crazy. It'll be either my next video or the one after that. I may post another farm cleanup video next.
Who is at that sharp dressed man??? Now I see where the used oil goes. I used to do that with my hair back in high school. Lol. Nice to see your dad is able to get out again. Gives you a break finally
It's always cool to see what's in the vehicles. And I don't doubt what you find if you have to shut off the camera. Also, what kind of jump starter was that? Peak Amps?
Silas how you doing buddy? Please keep all those tools. I know what you're thinking but you are a young dad a young person with a family and a household and all of that stuff would serve you until you get old enough to retire. If you had to go out and buy those tools now you could forget about 50 bucks you might want to put another zero on there especially those special drill bits in that red tub I want to say they're called mortensen or mortisine bits those are expensive. That DeWalt grinder good grief keep all that stuff those terminals and that shrink fit tubing that's a fantastic thing to have when you want to work on wiring. You get so many goodies I sit over here in my recliner and drool. Oh, and as for making things up on your videos I can't believe people harass you about that. Some people have nothing to do. I did notice however that you parted your hair to the right where you normally part it to the left or sometimes it's all over the place I think you really need to watch your hairline there mister! 😁 Just ignore those individuals it is not worth the sweat on your brow or some other body part worrying about those people that got a heckle you. Let it all roll off your back. I thought you were going to church and those snazzy clothes... Either way I enjoy everything about your program you just be yourself and forget all the naysayers. Listen to the people who enjoy your content and the rest of them well they can get their own D... RUclips channel. Peace out buddy until next time
I have one and when I used to use it, it was solid comments complaining about motion sickness and how much they hated it. It's in a box somewhere. I bust it out for fishing videos 2-3 times a year.
What do you think I'll find?
JUNKYARD TREASURE HUNT
@@Shinoske22 that was my thoughts
You will find tools in the toolbox.
A shotgun for the shells in the cab!
Keep it up i enjoy watching your videos 🇨🇦
very good video Silas, that is a very nice truck you have there 👍
New camera looks great, thanks Silas for taking us along for the day. Everything that you do is excellent content for me the shut in. I'll gladly go along for the ride. God Bless you and your family and stay safe.

Hello There My Good Little Bro Silas Of Adventures Made From Scratch

You can put a curler hitch ball on the back. To pull a trailer
Nice little truck
Dang Silas, you slick up pretty good!
Hi Silas you got a bargain with the white Dodge 👍👍🇦🇺
Looking sharp Silas, I always enjoy the videos
Shouldnt put batteries on concrete put a block of wood under it.
I was told that forever too ... I suspect that newer batteries are different 🤷♂️
That’s not true anymore. It used to be that batteries were made of hard rubber and other materials that would deteriorate. The batteries would sometimes self discharge. Yes your kids will have fun with the farm jungle gym
Smart move all around.
I lost $1,000 on the truck lol... Books at over $6k fixed and would cost about $800 to fix. I shouldn't have taken it, but oh well.
your new camera makes a great image. Seems to do about everything well - just what you want for your needs. Glad that S-22 Comet has a new home.
Sorta sad to see things that the owner had locked in his toolbox. Important to him at one time but not now. Guess his family wasn’t interested in the things he had. Must’ve had all daughters. I’m sorry for their loss. 🙏🇺🇸
I used an old hay wagon to make a spot to store a mini excavator. I just screwed some tin turned it over and used a tarp on the one end
Nice truck. Good for a work truck.
Nice truck hope it works for you
Yes do a sunrise to sunset video
Good score! I need me a $300 beater ike that!
I have lots of stuff laying in the dirt its cool you want to buy it lol.

OK, You came out about even. Great video, and the little Dodge. Should last you a few years.

Would have been cool to find all the guns to those shells & cartridges
Ha. didn't recognize ya without your hat and wearing glasses.
Bare bones Dakota is a huge score !
A full day would be cool
Great job ! Cute dog!
Camera is great!
It's always cool to see what's in the vehicles. And I don't doubt what you find if you have to shut off the camera. Also, what kind of jump starter was that? Peak Amps?
Gooloo. I did a couple sponsorships for them a couple years ago and still use them from time to time.
Fix the fan put a trailer ball hitch on the back and then you got your work truck

going to town clothes !
Silas, you clean up rather well!
I have a pair of those crimpers they are really good
I don't know anything about electrician tools, but they felt like good quality in my hand.
$300!? Nice!
I Bet most people couldn't keep up with a day in the life of Silas.
Wasn't the truck tool box itself worth $$$.¢¢?
Enjoyed the show.
Thanks Silas
You cleaned up good..tge new white truck needs some stickers on it..Get out a d ha e an adve ture
SILAS WHAT.. you collecting caskets now too.. we have never saw these before..
I had a dozen but sold all but 2. Never did film them
You need to get you one of those head band that you can mount that camera to. Like 12 to 15 bucks at Walmart.
I have one and when I used to use it, it was solid comments complaining about motion sickness and how much they hated it. It's in a box somewhere. I bust it out for fishing videos 2-3 times a year.
We believe you, you don't have to prove anything to us. Great video
Did you check the glove compartment or under and the seat ? Seat should fold forward to get behind it.
( I know it's already sold, just asking.. )
Such a cute dog 🐕 😍 💕
If it's a Masterlock, it could easily be picked open or even bumped open
Check out time 23:58 it look like a reflection of a spoon to the left of your head
You certainly scrub up well
Now I recognize you lol
I’m an electrician and so was the guy who owned that truck
Lol. Other than that. I love it. Other than a new ignition and rebuild the engine it's that's about it. LOL
He was a commercial electrician , knock out set worth a few bucks.
