David: *Sneezes* Javi:... David: Why didn't you say bless you? FUCK YOU JAVI YOU SELFISH PIECE OF SHIT! YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT FAMILY!!! Javi: lul tf?
MisaSasekage Javi: *Washes a plate and puts it in the Sink* David: JAVI YOU PIECE OF SHIT! WHY DIDNT YOU PUT THE DAMN PLATE IN THE DISHWASHER!? GODDAMN YOU ONLY THINK ABOUT YOURSELF!!!
Javi: *kills a walker to protect the whole family David: "JAVI HOW TF CAN YOU BE SO FKING SELFISH, YOU ONLY THINK ABOUT YOURSELF. BLOOD IS WORTHLESS TO YOU, JUST LIKE I'M TO YOU. YOU PIECE OF SHIT."
"You've been living in the apocalypse for 4 years. Get used to a shitty life." Lol so true. Gabe is annoying af in this game and absolutely DO NOT WANT him to be a Love interest for Clem.
My Gabe seemed to have a lot of growth in my play through and seemed like he would’ve been a good sidekick for Clem. He’s a kid that’s had 2 adults protecting him this whole time, he hasn’t been left to fend for himself or seen the horrible things people are capable of like Clem has. They didn’t join any communities before Prescott, they’ve spent the whole 4yrs locked in a house with no people nearby or on a constant move boxed up in a van. Poor kid hasn’t had a chance to interact with any new people in 4yrs and hasn’t been taught anything about protecting himself or others besides finding good hiding spots. When given opportunities to learn how to fight and protect others, he’s quick and eager to learn. And he wants to learn not for his own self preservation, but to make sure no one else around him gets hurt. All of the kids that are strictly protected rather than being taught by the adults around them get shit in so much by “fans” of this series, as is if it’s their faults they got stuck with dumbass adults. THEY ARE KIDS. Lee wasn’t even taking time to teach Clementine important survival skills until Duck was dying and Chuck blatantly tells them that she has to be toughened up or the same will happen to her. Without Chuck, Lee may have done the same thing as all the other adults and kept Clem sheltered. Even Omid and Christa slacked on teaching Clem new skills, after Omid dies Christa basically gives her shit for not knowing things she hasn’t even been taught 🤦🏼♀️ Clem was forced to hone the skills Lee gave her years ago, and build on those by herself once she’s on her own.
@ Ben - Which is fucking stupid because Clem is essentially your daughter and many of her decisions should fall in line with Lee's (aka your own) behavior in S1.
I know right? In episode 3, Ava knocked Tripp flat, but some measly walker is able to topple her over? They only killed her or Tripp in episode 5 due to poor writing since it seems like TellTale can't handle having characters live.
I dont think the spanish speaking thing is a sin, it is a very common thing in hispanic households were the family only speak spanish with the eldest generations, while the younger generations only or mostly speak english between themselves
Rovaa honestly, I don't understand the whole KENNY And Jane war going on with this fandom, I can see why people picked Kenny, He was an original main character from game 1, And was just trying to Protect both Clem and AJ From someone who literally pretended a child died to prove a point (Been a while since I've played season 2, I have no idea what the babies name was), But Jane has some good aspects too, She knows how to survive and was trying to show you how none mentally stable Kenny was, Which could be a risk in game 3 (Wasn't, seeming he looked more stable and happy with Clem and aj.) Both of their deaths in my opinion are bullshit no matter who you choose. Both characters are good in my opinion, Despite me liking kenny more.
HeartPaw true But i Think the Reason Most people choise Kenny over Jean (self i did) is that Jane was just a 2 Version of Molly in the First season with lee the Blond woman you meet with a pickhammer or something, Both have the same back story about a sister and that they both got fight with them and split up as they both Dislicked be in a Big Group of people nd rather wish be alone, the only diffrent was that Molly was more understandble then Jean. also was way much calmer she then mad in talking.
Yeah I'm pretty sure most people killed Kenny over letting Jane die. I didn't like either but I don't understand the Kenny love... first intro to him is his child drives a tractor over a guy's leg and instead of helping, Kenny grabs his child and flees. Someone who would let others die to save his family is not someone I'd trust with my life... And then there's the Larry incident. I didn't help Kenny murder someone who was clearly alive so he became my enemy essentially. After that I had a huge dislike for him as several times he seemed to be ready to leave Lee to die like in the pharmacy at the start of ep3 (I think). So no surprise in Season 2 I was not happy to see him. Especially since he immediately antagonized my new group. I shot him with pleasure and would have left Jane behind too if it weren't for safety in numbers
Wait, did you not sin Kenny, Edith and Jane's bullshit deaths? Literally the ENTIRE fanbase got so pissed over that it tainted the rest of the entire season for most.
@ James Mclaughlin - If you chose to go to Wellington, Kenny is never mentioned again. I think they implied he joined you at Wellington at some point but it doesn't matter since Wellington ends up getting raided and everyone dies. So it's presumed Kenny was killed in the raid too. Telltale sucks balls.
Dartigan actually points out most inconsistencies and glitches found within the game. GCN projects, makes shitty jokes, and sometimes sins things don't need to be sinned.
I was really disappointed by the fact that the game never went into detail about why exactly Javi ended up disgraced and ruined his career. All they say about it is that it was something to do with gambling. The first episode seems like it's setting up Javi as this spoiled jackass who now has to grow up and look after his family - in fact, that's exactly what David tells him he has to do multiple times - but the rest of the game then seems to decide that there was never anything wrong with Javi at all, and it was always David who was the jackass. Oh, and don't even get me started on Kate...
From what i remember and how i interpretted it, the reason Javi got disgraced was because he was gambling illegally, my guess is he was betting on his own games, which is extremely against the rules, so he got disgraced and was put on athletic probation and the whole 'spoiled jackass' thing was pretty much resolved, Javi was a spoiled jackass before the apocalypse, then when he got put on probation he went back to his family (when the father died) that was Javi trying to right his wrongs, he already acknowledged that he fucked up in the past, and him showing up was him trying to fix things, then the zombies show up and for the *next four years* Javi cares for Davids kids (and fucks his wife but we dont talk about that lol) so, from what i cam tell, Telltale did give Javi the arc you were wanting, it just takes a little interpreting for it to make sense this game wasnt about Javi making up for his past wrongs, he had already done that by the time the game started, its just David *didnt know that he had* and David was a stubborn motherfucker, so Javi didnt get a proper chance to show him how he changed, David is the jackass of the story, thats shown blatantly from the start of the game (how he reacts to Kate breaking his military cup) so, this game isnt really about Javi redeeming himself, although it *should have been* it wasnt, so yeah, Javi had pretty much already completed his redemption before the game started, at least thats how i interpretted it
Bobbert The Honey Bear at least he tried to do it right, surely it's a foreigner name to him so it's understandable, you can't pronounce something correctly without some practice of it.
Evelyn C Spanish isn't my original language. It's literally just "ha" and "vee." You literally say both of these everyday. "Ha" is in "hot." "Vee" is in "TV." It's not that hard. Especially considering the game says it MANY times
Twenty One Pilots was a Mistake well I am, when the teachers teach us english they try to vocalize right for us to understand and repeat, all people are different some have this type of problems some others not it's that simple, yeah we see it but that doesn't mean anything, I have met people which their pronunciation were a little bad but they understand and in the end it's all matters.
18:52. "No one questions why Joan kept the raiding a secret." Dartigan: Doesn't choose the option to ask about Joan keeping the raiding a secret. Logic at its finest.
Uh, no. Even if you do choose that option, every other character will just pretend to not have heard that because Joan never receives any consequences in the rest of the season.
What the fuck do you mean "that doesn't mean anything?" Play the damn game yourself. Tell the group of the terrible things she's done to other communities. They acknowledge what you say, but NO ONE does anything about it, not even the other so called leaders of Richmond/NF. She receives no consequences for her actions, then she just disappears if you don't kill her in episode 4 for no reason.
@@Kingdom850 Also, I hate the fact that if you choose to kill Joan, in the end of Episode 5 there will be a picture of her in the "Rest In Peace" board. Wtf, why is she there, she was indirectly the cause of almost all the deaths in this season.
1:33 "Dad! Dad! Calm down! You're here in your own home!" "What are you doing!?" "He bit Hector!" I think I heard and translated right. Despite Spanish being my first language I'm shit at speaking, translating, and writing it.
They really did season 3 dirty with Kenny’s death and not adding the walker slaughter house scene, but I’m glad they allowed Ava to die after she didn’t defend Clementine from David
if they where going to make a part 3 to the storyline then why did they not let us play as clementine again, that would have been way cooler than what we got
of course not, instead of TWAU or GOT season 2, they give us fucking minecraft story mode season 2. just because it will sell to kiddies edit: nevermind they just announced TWAU S2 lmfao
I personally wanted to hit David for what he said about soldiers. Yes they come back different depending one where they fought (my brother fought in Afghanistan and came back broken) he was a father, a brother, a son, a husband (nearly) and a leader.
I've had that conversation with my father. He retired from the military and found that returning to civilian life was just overwhelming for him. He ended up telling me that it was easier being deployed and fighting than it was raising his children and being married. So, yeah, there are former soldiers who feel like Dave. Is it fucked up? Yeah, it really is. Is it upsetting and offensive, yeah. However, it's one of those sad truths.
I have to give David a 🖕🏻because my brother is in the military and despite a developed sense of dark humor (which nearly all vets have) he’s well-adjusted and treats his wife and kids so good.
joe momma Kenney is on it. For 4 minutes. It was like they forgot about the ending and they were like..."What happens if you go with Kenney?" "Hmm...let me think...kill him!
The only reason why they made them Cuban was to fill the minority quota. "Let's see, season 1, a black guy, season 2, a black girl, what do we do with season 3... Hey, what's there on TV? Jesus, fucking Trump again with his anti-Latino preaching... wait a minute! Guys! I got it!"
Stefan Dijkstra, outside of the flashbacks you don’t really see Javier’s family speaking perfect Spanish and English whereas Arvo and his men all throughout season 2 you see the Russian Raiders speaking perfect Russian and perfect English.
@@yarpen26 Literally the only time this series has ever talked about the topic of race was that one offhanded "urban" joke in episode two in the first season and then never again. Politics is a disease.
The intro to this video had more work put into it than the plot of this game... Also, finish off the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy. Witcher 3 can be saved for later.
6 years later and we’re still waiting for Dartigan sinning Witcher 3. Also I’m still waiting for him to sin Tales of Arise, Baldur’s Gate 3 and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
And also I loved how much of a badass you are as him because playing as clem and doing everything because a bunch of fucking baby's won't take care of an actual baby was so annoying
Season 1- Phenominal Season 2-Amazing, a few flaws though Season 3-Good, but, very disappointing Season 4-Phenominal, so far. 'Broken Toys' was the best episode yet.
Honestly the season one characters, even weak and cliche ones such as Hershel and Molly, were still really good and interesting for the most part. Season two characters weren't as good, but still had many pleasant characters and such. Michonne didn't have many fleshed out characters, but that was probably due to there not being as many episodes and such. A new frontier has some of the shittiest characters I've seen so far in a telltale game. Minecraft story mode, despite being far more kid friendly than other telltale games, at least got you invested in the story and the characters, despite it all being very cliche. The other walking dead games had fairly good relationships between characters that made sense and didn't often rely on stereotypes and cliche to give them any interesting characters, and don't even get me started on how amazing the characters were in The Wolf Among Us. But A new frontier is just pathetic. Javi: A copy of Lee, being that he is already known to some people. However, he is too much of a blank slate. His character is pretty much "I got banned from baseball and became a deadbeat". However, unlike Lee, he is a shit leader, can't take care of kids properly to save his life, and all of the choruses you have to make are shit. Kate: An absolutely dreadful character who was only put in for two reasons, a love interest and tension. She married David despite not wanting kids, constantly flirted with his brother before the apocalypse, and when they found him she acted like he had treated her like shit. She does nothing in the entire game to make her likeable, or to show her relationship with the player actually growing. Instead, it's just suddenly "There's sexual tension for no reason let's (insert something sexual in nature here)". I could go on and on about what a shit storm her character was, but I won't. David: "Hey what's the easiest way to add conflict to a group?" "Make somebody an absolute asshole, but don't flesh them out like we did with Larry and Lily". Clementine: So when she was eleven she had to make all the houses, but now she's older she just sits by and doesn't even contribute to decided most of the time? Not to mention she's only even in the game so that a) people are more likely to play it and b) they can possibly squeeze one more game into their most popular yet most neglected series. Gabe: One minute he needs to be told what to do exactly, the next he is telling others what to do. One minute he's talking shit about his dad, the next he's terrified of him, then he decides to follow him wherever he goes. They just wanted to add someone who was in the mid grounds of Javi and Davids feud but couldn't bother writing him so that him and his decisions would be consistent. Mariana: Listen I know they only killed her because they didn't want it to see as though they were trying to recreate Lee and Clementine's relationship in season one, but instant deaths aren't cool. If you wanted it to actually have an impact, make it slow and painful and/or make Javi have to finish her off, otherwise the player doesn't care. Tripp: An asshole for no reason sometimes but he was probably the best and most consistent character really. Jesus: Okay, maybe Tripp was second best. But yeah, kind of land they didn't even bother to give him an actual reason to be in the game. Although that last conversation with him where he starts to flirt a little was probably the only funny moment in the game. Not much to say on the other characters, but I may add some in the comments if I get angry enough to write about it again. I think the biggest problem with this seasons characters was that everybody already knew each other pretty much. Javi knows Kate, Gabe, Marianna and David. David knows Ava. Ava knows Clementine. Clementine knows Tripp, so on and so fourth. Compare this to season 1, where the only people who knew each other were family, then to season 2 where the main character at least didn't know everyone, and even the group didn't know everything about each other. I've always want a wolf amount is sequels, but with telltales current state I just pray that it won't happen until they get their shit sorted and hire professional writers again, not Fucking freelance ones. Shit, I need to calm the fuck down rn.
King Mat trust me I could, but when I was writing this I was more pissed off about the adults then the kids, seeing as really they didn't do that much. I still am honestly.
Don't compare Javi and Lee. Lee was fucking hilarious. I enjoyed every line he said. There were so many moments he just fucking shone. Javi has none of that radiant charisma.
Bruh I hated season 3. I wanted to play through Clem's pov and I don't give a F about Javi and his dumb family smh. This should've been a side story or a dlc game or something.
"Clem is not casting a shadow in the same scene" Yes, actually, she is. It's hard to see because of what little greenery she's stood in front of/beneath, but it's there.
If you go after Gabe and David, the ending feels way better. Mainly because it's a pretty alright climax to whole "being there for your family" thing between the two brothers. It's made a bit better too since that whole last choice is dependent on your relationship with Clem so theres actually some variables. I still think Telltale's TWD could be way better. The major problem is that they don't finalize the season before they finish so they'll constantly allude to shit that they do a complete 180 on. So characters and tones feel inconsistent af.
As a Spanish speaker, yes, that sin was really worthy because they only try to calm a zombie by saying "Stop dad! Calm down!" and the grandma asks "What are you doing" and then they say "Está loco mamá". Idk from where came the stereotype that Latin people living in the USA uses spanglish while being with their Latin family.
Israel Romero, thanks for explaining what David and Javier were saying because I knew that Javier’s family is great at speaking perfect English and perfect Spanish, but I didn’t know what they were saying because I only know a little Spanish, and English is the only language I know fluently.
I liked the idea of this season but the characters were constantly contradicting themselves. Like I never understood David's reasoning of banishing clem and taking AJ away. In that fight he literally says "We should have left him in the woods somewhere weeks ago" and the 3 seconds later he absolutely refuses to let Clem take AJ even tho he also just said that he is a 100% gonna die so why take him away from his mom.
I hope if they start doing remakes, they will make Javier's story on its own. And the story of Clementine will continue separately. For this rubbish that they offered us in the form of flashbacks looks like a lazy piece of shit. Kenny, who cared for AJ more than himself, put him in danger by putting a kid behind the wheel for the first time in a narrow and dense forest on a crooked road. The only one who flew out the window, flying a couple of meters, and broke his back. Indeed, why should we look for an empty and flat track, where it is clearly visible in all directions, when you can fly out of the window with a whistle, or suddenly meet a horde on the way... Jane, who was positioned for the entire second season as a soldier (short hair, pants similar to army ones, tucked into high boots, loose but tight top, for a comfortable fight, cold calculation, for the most parts stealthily uses edged weapons, not afraid of anything, passes through the walkers, as through the bushes). For which Clemmentine became the sister who wants to fight for her life, like Jane herself. Whant a joke? She hanged herself -____-... Sorry, i know, it's not funny at all. We also remember that Christa gave birth alone in the middle of a dirty forest. Whant another joke? You pay for it :3... Not funny, shit... Wellington is a walled city. Twenty-meter walls of steel, gates of steel, steel tall towers, a lot of people inside, there is so much supplies that they can afford to give supplies in their travel bags to strangers, which means that they also have a lot of weapons. The city was taken by several homeless people with guns ... I don't even know ... Should I cry or laugh here? It seems to me alone, or was this game made by people who are not at all familiar with the previous one?
I personally liked this season, it wasn't the best, but it was interesting to me. I liked most of the main characters, (Javi, Gabe, and Clementine.) I just didn't like the pacing and some of the characters. I did not like Kate because she was a whore. David, I kinda liked, but also hated because he's an asshole. I liked Gabe, because he was flawed and he is more active than most kid characters. The season had the potential to be amazing, but it was decent at best. It wasn't bad at all, Javi was a good character that had a solid background and a nice personality. I give the season, a 7/10.
I liked it... But it was just a bit disappointing for their standards. Still a good season. Season 1-Phenominal Season 2-Great Season 3-The weakest, but good. Season 4-Phenominal so far.
LOL I thought the same thing about the "Broken CO Cup" incident as well. The cup shattering is supposed to be symbolic in various ways, like how fragile Kate and David's marriage is, abuse, etc., but it's hard to take any of that seriously when you consider that all this CO gave David was a crappy mug.
I honestly couldn't be bothered with season 3. Once Mariana, the nice girl, died, I knew that we were going to hit the same beats of season one that season two also hit. It reminded me of when Carley/Doug died and when Sarita died, except much lazier and much earlier. Almost like they couldn't even be bothered to follow their own copy and pasted story.
"Some decisions... you make them in a split-second amd then you have to carry them the rest of your life. They're usually binary choices, someone will remember them, but it ultimately won't matter, since you will just be railroaded through a set of minor variables with just the illusion of choice." Gold.
Mistakes i think Dartigan made: Cliches arent sins, its almost impossible making anything without doing a "cliche" Gamblers often lose _all_ their money, even if they had a fucking lot Spanish is used in a sutile way in a lot of scenes, mixed with english, already saying "The muertos" counts Going after David and Gabe has a pretty cooler ending The fact that David didnt come back for 4 years was something purposeful for the history, not a mistake/sin, and his hipocresy about family things is also in purpose and something Javi can point Gabe is a teen, he obviously isnt as mature or as tough, damn, he is closer to be a kid Some sins doesnt have sense, like just saying some random thing and then the counter goes up Joan was in complot with Max and Badger, that's why she doesnt kick them David keeps AJ as a punishment, not to take care of him, that he later kinda do, but only once AJ stops being sick Continuity "Problems" are pretty minor, specially talking about the models, just some little details that in a normal run you probably wouldnt notice
11:43 Actually, I don't know if you know or remember hearing this, but Robert Kirkman stated himself that in the TWD universe George Romero never created Zombie movies nor was the term "Zombie" ever created in the first place. This is the reason why people have no clue what to call them when they see them along with the fact as to why this apocalypse was so effective due to the fact that nobody knew how to deal with them.
And also, yeah there have been mentions of the term "Zombie" in the previous seasons, however they were never meant to be stated by the voice actors and/or never meant to be written in the script.
@@finalfrontier2491 like the one scene in episode one of the first season where lee talks about “zombies” after moving the desk with clementine at the drug store
"What do you call the ones that run?" - I honestly thought that this season was going to introduce fast zombies and that this was the game's way of letting us know that was coming. Turns out I was giving them too much credit. "...simply because he once kicked her out..." And kidnapped her kid. Still not mass murder but I'm fairly certain that's the thing Clementine is taking issue with. Look, I hate David. A lot. But why does, "I _couldn't_ get back into Baltimore" sound like he didn't even try? "These characters have the vision cones of Foxhound Genome soldiers." HAH! "...join the National Guard" Well, the whole point was to get away from his family. A few weekends and two weeks a year wouldn't really do that. I don't actually disagree with sinning this but doing that would require David not being a jerk. "Now I see why Kate brought up periods in the first episode." Why didn't any of the women Clem travelled with explain it to her? If Clem knew then that implies she saw them dealing with it and/or they brought it up. I find it _extremely_ hard to believe that an adult woman would have told her it's a thing all women deal with but not tell her why. I really find it hard to believe that Christa in particular wouldn't have had this discussion with her. "...terrible person Javi is without ever giving a single concrete example." It doesn't seem like you ever do the "This gets more than one sin" thing but you would have been justified in sinning the game every time this happened. (Also, every time the game had a character tell us David was a good guy instead of showing us.) "...I expect it's equally disappointing." You are correct, sir.
Biggest sin in all of the series: the people dying from the zombies when it could easily be avoided, Especially that zombie that got Lee, that zombie sure went ultra instinct
That was stupid as hell. I'm not sure why the sound of someone approaching wasn't enough to make that walker try to attack. It was shown before that walkers are attracted to sounds, so those jumpscare ones don't make any sense. Lee made plenty of noise prior to grabbing the walkie-talkie or Clem's Hat.
My problem with this game is the dialogue when you choose one of the options Javier Carry's on and says something else you didn't want him to say like at the beginning of episode 2 when you tell David to back off but then he carry's on and says "Kate's gonna leave your ass!" Which I definitely didn't want him to say that annoyed me so much
7:56 I thought you were going to sin the fact that this is one of the rare occasions where the resulting choice is the opposite of what the player chose. Many people only chose to have Javier just defuse the situation and, yet, he went with a shattering revelation that is almost like a bomb.
The part freaked me out, I thought I was avoiding conflict and he basically sets Kate up to get her ass beat if David is physically abusive. I was in an abusive relationship at one point and I got so scared for Kate with the way Javi reacted that I just shut my game off, and then I still felt like shit when I was able to turn it back on and make the other choice because Kate will “remember that” you didn’t stand up for her. They make it clear that David is abusive, but they are very vague wether it’s just emotional/mental abuse or also physically abusive. Even if he’s not physically abusive, it’s fucked up to set her up to be an emotional punching bag for David once you’re not there.
If you go to save David, you'll see a dead David and bitten, dying Gabe. Gabe and Clem share a moment and Gabe gives Clem a pack of cards and tells her to teach AJ that card game. Then, I think they kiss. So Gabentine is a real ship for about 6 seconds. Then Gabe dies and they go back to Richmond, and sometimes Kate dies. Basically everyone is a determinate character except Clem, AJ and Javi. Everyone else dies. No matter what. Your choices don't matter with characters, they all die or leave anyway
Since you don't choose to go after David and Gabe, I'll tell you what happened. Depending on your relationship with Clementine (I guess that's the reason), either both David and Gabe live, or both of them die. Also, if they both live, once you return to Richmond, Kate is a walker and you can choose to wheather put her down or not
I know I’m way late, but my play through Kate and Gabe survive. Only David died, and he died sacrificing himself for Gabe, who then has to shoot him when he turns.
Some service people and officers don't come back mentally, David is one of them. It should have made more people to balance it out since it's the loose Canon cliche but it worked for a personal story, my brother and I have had a David and Javi type relationship at points where he'll call me out for shit that isn't my fault or get unreasonably angry at life stuff but I love him all the same and try never to hurt him. It made the scene where Javier can refuse to fight back all that more powerful for me. I am curious about Javi's future especially if they Canonically decide to make him a couple with Kate and stay in Richmond.
For some reason this didn't show up in my subs, even though I'm subscribed, and I watched these playthroughs. The fuck youtube? For everyone complaining- he played most of these episodes in the span of a week or less on twitch, and most people didn't enjoy this season much, including (it seemed anyway) Dartigan. If I were him I wouldn't want to drag out every episode either. Stop complaining, you're getting free content either way, and he puts a lot of effort into his videos. Sheesh.
11:41 The Walking dead is in a parallel universe in which zombies are not known of. There are no zombie books or movies and the word zombie doesn't exist, same for the TV Show
There were many problems with this season, but I liked Javi as a character. Some may disagree, but I thought he was good. However, with the exception of Clem, some characters were either all right, or easily forgettable and shallow.
A New Frontier definitely was boring. It was hard to finish because of that. The first and second game were better and I could replay and enjoy. I still say the first will always be my overall favorite. Lightning Returns should definitely be next. I cannot wait for you to rip into Snow some more like the other videos you made. Partly the sins against Snow or sins removed when he got slapped around were parts where I would click back and repeat them a few times due to how hilarious it was. XD
Great video as usual though you missed some really big sins, most notably Gabe's Conrad outburst in EP4 and Kenny's EP1 flashback. Both scenes were just terribly written.
Seriously. Kenny had 2 seasons of development and actually gave a shit when his wife and child ended up dying. David is a fucking pussy who blames everyone else for him being a weakling who can't decide what part of his life he wants to commit to. Kenny may have been a hotheaded jerk at times but he always had a good heart and sincerely believed he was doing the right thing. David is just a fucking crybaby and an insult to soldiers everywhere.
“You’ve been in the apocalypse for 4 years get used to it”..... chuckles while everyone around me falls apart after a few months in lockdown #ronavirus
Honestly on episode 1 when Mariana died, no one at all cared. No one mourned and she was never mentioned again. I know it's small and a stupid thing to be annoyed over, but it was honestly the thing that annoyed me the most to be honest. TWD has always had realistic reactions to character deaths, and right off the bat on episode one, the death of a little girl wasn't even mourned by the family.
The real question is, where the hell were they really? There's no mountains near Richmond, why would the survivors stay in the middle of a city, there's certain places they have as "scenes" but doesn't exist in real life.
1:32 david:dad! Dad calm down it’s me David (Javis mom:WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? (David:he’s so crazy I don’t think he’s right in the head (don’t know what David said last also here’s the rest) (mom: maybe he’s just- (David: mom (your welcome)
Zombies don’t exist in our universe either, but considering how popular zombie media is if zombies suddenly existed out of thin air we’d be calling zombies in the zombie apocalypse zombies, and not something like Walkers, Clickers, or muartos.
One of the most annoying things I found about this season (and there were many) but this thing was hilarious, annoying and unrealistic all at once and that would be the name calling, seemingly everyone who's just met all immediately start calling each other by shortened versions of their names or nicknames which is obviously a thing you call someone you're familiar with, the doctor woman who is ridiculously wishy-washy pretty much just met Javier and then immediately starts calling him Javi like they've known each other for ages same thing with Clementine calling him that too and same thing with Javier calling Clementine Clem, people in The Walking Dead Universe are inherently paranoid and for some reason oddly paranoid about giving out their names sometimes so that is quite unrealistic and trust issues are not overcome that quickly at all, you're not just going to suddenly start feeling comfortable enough to start calling someone a nickname like you've known each other for years the only exception perhaps being Jesus but then he introduces himself as such
Jesus and Javier shacking up would half the amount of sins for me for this terrible season. It's too bad it wouldn't happen since the game tries to force you to be with Kate and Jesus is a comic canon character.
Sin 1: Telltale had Clementine eat an apple. Sin 2: They ruined Clementine! Sin 3: They killed Kenny; it's bad enough Lee, Omid, Christa, and Carley died! Sin 4: Trip would be best friends with Snow. Sin 5: Shoehorned love interest for Clementine or anyone else really. Sin 6: Period conversation.

Javi: *reads these funny comments and laughs

The characters this season were SO INCONSISTENT. That was the most annoying thing about this season to me honestly.

Well season 4 shouldn’t be like that hopefully
*This season's EXISTENCE physically hurt me!!!*
Biggest sin: Clementine isn't playable throughout the game, only in flashbacks.
they should let us control both javi and clem equally, like game of thrones or tales from the borderlands
A multiplayer Telltale game would be gud actually ;0

Big Smoke wtf mad ting i know it's your opinion but still its a bit mad
"You've been living in the apocalypse for 4 years. Get used to a shitty life."
Lol so true. Gabe is annoying af in this game and absolutely DO NOT WANT him to be a Love interest for Clem.
Gabe was a literal shitstain compared to Louis or Violet.
I hate that my name's Gabe and every Gabe character is a complete bitch lmao
@@salem7276 Louis (in my opinion) is the best by farrr
He dies in one ending
Even Omid and Christa slacked on teaching Clem new skills, after Omid dies Christa basically gives her shit for not knowing things she hasn’t even been taught 🤦🏼♀️
Clem was forced to hone the skills Lee gave her years ago, and build on those by herself once she’s on her own.
At the start, you should have added 1000 sins for us not being able to shoot Arvo, Mike and Bonnie for their treachery.
Aaron brandon 1000? a million would service or 3 million. one million per character
Aaron brandon I thought you could shot Mike and let Bonnie die?
DJcaged They updated the game because they "Didn't think it was in Clementine's nature"
@ Ben - Which is fucking stupid because Clem is essentially your daughter and many of her decisions should fall in line with Lee's (aka your own) behavior in S1.
Aaron brandon Not mike,MAYBE bonnie, but definitely arvo.
Ava's death in episode 5 was such bullshit.
I know right? In episode 3, Ava knocked Tripp flat, but some measly walker is able to topple her over? They only killed her or Tripp in episode 5 due to poor writing since it seems like TellTale can't handle having characters live.
Hilarious bullshit, but still bullshit
ThinkingOfYou75 11:39 anybody see that spelling error?
DeathGamingXP No one cares
No one will remember that

*a million sins upon this game*
We'll never forget you, Kenny. :(
yarpen26 *says* *the* *one* *who* -probabaly- *picked* *Jane* *the* *child* *murderer*
He only played through the "alone route" of the game so chances are he missed them because he might not have wanted play the game again.
Still probably should've looked up what he missed if he was going to sin the whole game
joe momma You shouldn't have been surprised. Every good character they announce gets killed off in some unreasonable way.
joe momma FR
@ James Mclaughlin - If you chose to go to Wellington, Kenny is never mentioned again. I think they implied he joined you at Wellington at some point but it doesn't matter since Wellington ends up getting raided and everyone dies. So it's presumed Kenny was killed in the raid too. Telltale sucks balls.

Dartigan: the whole TWD Season 3 here got 170 sins.
GCN: Only the first four episodes and it's already got 491 sins.
Martian Ranger because GCN were longer.
Martian Ranger Dartigan's vídeos are about finding sins as quick as possible, while GCN is about finding lots of sins by nitpicking
Dartigan actually points out most inconsistencies and glitches found within the game.
GCN projects, makes shitty jokes, and sometimes sins things don't need to be sinned.
Dartigan most of the time just sticks to sinning the story.
Martian Ranger till I like both channels.
From what i remember and how i interpretted it, the reason Javi got disgraced was because he was gambling illegally, my guess is he was betting on his own games, which is extremely against the rules, so he got disgraced and was put on athletic probation
and the whole 'spoiled jackass' thing was pretty much resolved, Javi was a spoiled jackass before the apocalypse, then when he got put on probation he went back to his family (when the father died) that was Javi trying to right his wrongs, he already acknowledged that he fucked up in the past, and him showing up was him trying to fix things, then the zombies show up and for the *next four years* Javi cares for Davids kids (and fucks his wife but we dont talk about that lol)
so, from what i cam tell, Telltale did give Javi the arc you were wanting, it just takes a little interpreting for it to make sense
this game wasnt about Javi making up for his past wrongs, he had already done that by the time the game started, its just David *didnt know that he had* and David was a stubborn motherfucker, so Javi didnt get a proper chance to show him how he changed, David is the jackass of the story, thats shown blatantly from the start of the game (how he reacts to Kate breaking his military cup)
so, this game isnt really about Javi redeeming himself, although it *should have been* it wasnt, so yeah, Javi had pretty much already completed his redemption before the game started, at least thats how i interpretted it
To deliver a sin to the narrator: Despite Javi's name being repeated in the game about a million times, he still manages to say it wrong every time.
Bobbert The Honey Bear at least he tried to do it right, surely it's a foreigner name to him so it's understandable, you can't pronounce something correctly without some practice of it.
Evelyn C it's literally just "ha-vee." That's not even hard to say lmao
Twenty One Pilots was a Mistake maybe for you, but some people have pronunciation problems with others languages wich isn't their mother language
18:52. "No one questions why Joan kept the raiding a secret."
Dartigan: Doesn't choose the option to ask about Joan keeping the raiding a secret.

It’sBlu, thanks for the translation from Spanish to English because I didn’t know what they were saying in the very episode in New Frontier.
maybe they only spoke spanish when they were with their mom? who knows.
They really did season 3 dirty with Kenny’s death and not adding the walker slaughter house scene, but I’m glad they allowed Ava to die after she didn’t defend Clementine from David
you can tell telltale is giving less and less of a shit about these games
if they where going to make a part 3 to the storyline then why did they not let us play as clementine again, that would have been way cooler than what we got
of course not, instead of TWAU or GOT season 2, they give us fucking minecraft story mode season 2. just because it will sell to kiddies
edit: nevermind they just announced TWAU S2 lmfao
daniel ruiz 11:39 anybody see that spelling error?
SamG309 Actually TWD season 4 is confirmed
How is that related to what I said?
@@toonpacha2396 well not everyone comes back to civilization the same way

joe momma boat....?
The Contaminated Potato technically if you leave him at the end of S2 when you find that shelter, then he’s not dead
In sin #10 you should have sin the fact that the dude that voiced David in Spanish isn't the same one who voices him when he talks English
The only reason why they made them Cuban was to fill the minority quota. "Let's see, season 1, a black guy, season 2, a black girl, what do we do with season 3... Hey, what's there on TV? Jesus, fucking Trump again with his anti-Latino preaching... wait a minute! Guys! I got it!"
I thought Alex Hernandez spoke Spanish.

@8:27 I'm actually pretty sure Clem IS casting a shadow on the far right, it's just hidden a bit by the shadow from the tree behind them.
Sin 83: This world takes place in a time where the name "zombie" was never made. There were no historical names for them in this timeline.
Isabella Jackson My thoughts *_EXACTLY_*. Just wish you'd go off on gabe a lil more lol
King Mat trust me I could, but when I was writing this I was more pissed off about the adults then the kids, seeing as really they didn't do that much. I still am honestly.
you say javi is a worse leader yet lee died 3 months in and javi is still alive and got his people a new community🤔🤔🤔
Isabella Jackson it’s a shame about the shit that’s come out about the toxic work environment at Telltale
Don't compare Javi and Lee.
Lee was fucking hilarious. I enjoyed every line he said. There were so many moments he just fucking shone.
Javi has none of that radiant charisma.
The flashbacks were okay for me, they did it so you would know the full story between David and Javier and etc.
It's like game and movie writers said, "fuck effort!" Thanks for the content! 😎
Bruh I hated season 3. I wanted to play through Clem's pov and I don't give a F about Javi and his dumb family smh. This should've been a side story or a dlc game or something.
DLC definitely, this story wasnt good enough to have five. fucking. episodes.
Whats a DLC?? MN
15:18 Worst Part?!? Some of them are badass as hell, or should I remind you how Lee mutilated walkers in the best scene in TWD Season 1
IKR? He is delusional when saying that
"Your a real charmer you know that" (ZIP)
As a Spanish speaker, yes, that sin was really worthy because they only try to calm a zombie by saying "Stop dad! Calm down!" and the grandma asks "What are you doing" and then they say "Está loco mamá".
Idk from where came the stereotype that Latin people living in the USA uses spanglish while being with their Latin family.
All Javier and David are saying is that "it's us, Dad". The lady asks what's going on.
That's... it.
Israel Romero, thanks for explaining what David and Javier were saying because I knew that Javier’s family is great at speaking perfect English and perfect Spanish, but I didn’t know what they were saying because I only know a little Spanish, and English is the only language I know fluently.
I remember how hyped I was when this game was announced. I never dropped the controller so quickly until I played this.
Sierra Pearl absolutly fucking agree
Not to mention this season did some things better than any of the previous two.
Sierra Pearl gabes death is so sad and clabe is cannon especially if he dies, If he lives it's still hinted/canon
Sierra Pearl Shrewd its was actually my second favourite game from telltale
I liked it... But it was just a bit disappointing for their standards. Still a good season.
Season 1-Phenominal
Season 2-Great
Season 3-The weakest, but good.
You already sinned the other two Final Fantasy 13 games so you might as well sin the third one to complete the trilogy
"Some decisions... you make them in a split-second amd then you have to carry them the rest of your life. They're usually binary choices, someone will remember them, but it ultimately won't matter, since you will just be railroaded through a set of minor variables with just the illusion of choice."
Gold.
Mistakes i think Dartigan made:
Cliches arent sins, its almost impossible making anything without doing a "cliche"
Gamblers often lose _all_ their money, even if they had a fucking lot
Spanish is used in a sutile way in a lot of scenes, mixed with english, already saying "The muertos" counts
Going after David and Gabe has a pretty cooler ending
The fact that David didnt come back for 4 years was something purposeful for the history, not a mistake/sin, and his hipocresy about family things is also in purpose and something Javi can point
Gabe is a teen, he obviously isnt as mature or as tough, damn, he is closer to be a kid
Some sins doesnt have sense, like just saying some random thing and then the counter goes up
Joan was in complot with Max and Badger, that's why she doesnt kick them
David keeps AJ as a punishment, not to take care of him, that he later kinda do, but only once AJ stops being sick
Continuity "Problems" are pretty minor, specially talking about the models, just some little details that in a normal run you probably wouldnt notice
Trust me, if you choose to save Gabe, the finale is SOOOO much better, especially considering just how many different possible outcomes there are.
@@mint5090 And luke has an unused line where he calls them zombies.
(Also, every time the game had a character tell us David was a good guy instead of showing us.)
"...I expect it's equally disappointing." You are correct, sir.
@@practicalpisces they definitely could have done a much better way to kill off Lee like that
How did you not catch Mari somehow getting flipped over when she first got shot in the head?
Lightning Returns... it needs to be Lightning Returns.
Season 2: Jane or Kenny.
Season 3: Kate or David.
LegendarianGamer | Correction Season 3: Kate, David or Gabe
angsty teen boring lady asshole
Some service people and officers don't come back mentally, David is one of them. It should have made more people to balance it out since it's the loose Canon cliche but it worked for a personal story, my brother and I have had a David and Javi type relationship at points where he'll call me out for shit that isn't my fault or get unreasonably angry at life stuff but I love him all the same and try never to hurt him. It made the scene where Javier can refuse to fight back all that more powerful for me. I am curious about Javi's future especially if they Canonically decide to make him a couple with Kate and stay in Richmond.
I said DONT shoot Tripp!
Eleanor later: Tripp is dead because of you!!!
BITCH you serious?!????
seriously I love this channel, its like cinemasins
The spanish part you didn't understand means "He's nuts! He attacked Hector!"
10:56 I knew I wasn't the only one who was super annoyed by that audio mistake
when they spoke spanish in the beggining they never cursed all they said was for him to calm down and that he was just confused
Hi, i talk spanish, and...Oh my god
El atacó a HecTOR
So what they say
You're videos are like a big roast to bad writing and companies that are lazy and doing stuff for money. So satisfying.
First 15 minutes of Season 4 is already better than A New Frontier
I just hope they don't rewrite the story for future episodes like they did with episode 2-5 in season 3.
Flamics ya but this season the telltale we know is back 👊
Cosmic MJ i hope it ends great, without Clem dying
Flamics same
As someone that been enlisted, no chance in hell any officer gives an enlisted a gift before he EASs
Sheesh.
imagine all the missed scenes, all the different endings or choices, all the sins...
If this game were only about Clementine the sins would be reduced by like 35%
11:41 The Walking dead is in a parallel universe in which zombies are not known of. There are no zombie books or movies and the word zombie doesn't exist, same for the TV Show
There were many problems with this season, but I liked Javi as a character. Some may disagree, but I thought he was good. However, with the exception of Clem, some characters were either all right, or easily forgettable and shallow.
Another sin: At the end of episode 4 when Javi speaks with Kate during the mass, she is unable to hear him unless he asks Kate to bring the truck over
A New Frontier definitely was boring. XD
Domestic Violence = PTSD. That is why Kate is so paranoid and panicked. A place where her husband is, is a dangerous place.
Great video as usual though you missed some really big sins, most notably Gabe's Conrad outburst in EP4 and Kenny's EP1 flashback. Both scenes were just terribly written.
BC_Guy and Gabe’s Hypocrisy in EP2 when he calls Javi a Coward after taking Conrad’s Deal, while When Gabe was Held Hostage he Begs for Javi’s Help.
18:51 The option to ask her why she kept it secret is right there.
Don't say Kenny's name in the same sentence as .David's. Just don't.
CreditR01 damn right
Why not, both irrational and genuinely dangerous, the only difference is kenny cared for his family and david didn't
@@heathergreenway736 and david blames everything on everyone else u stupid bitch kenny is nothing like david, david is a whiney little girl.
I'd take Kenny a thousand times over before David. I NEVER said "I love you" when that moment popped up. I fought him every single time. Asshole!
4:41
"How did Clem knock the tree over without any tools"
Everyone: She is *GOD!*
One of the only good things about this game is Clem is Javi
This is at the Spanish part. (Moma) What are you doing? (david) He's insane and he attacked Hector. (Don't know what david said right before that.
“You’ve been in the apocalypse for 4 years get used to it”..... chuckles while everyone around me falls apart after a few months in lockdown #ronavirus
8:27 actually Clem is casting a shadow. There's just a trees shadow that's also over here that makes it less obvious
The next game to be sinned has to be Lightning Returns
Christine Blacksmith ^
agreed It must be brought to an end
I've seen Jesse Cox's Rage at that game, I bet even Dartigan may get aggitated
_Bringthebrokenbacktolife_ the final season :(
Honestly on episode 1 when Mariana died, no one at all cared.
Awesome video, as always Dartigan.
DO LIGHTING RETURNS, I DARE YOU.
11:40 don't you know the word zombie doesn't exist in their universe, that's why they call them walkers and muartos
Zombies don’t exist in our universe either, but considering how popular zombie media is if zombies suddenly existed out of thin air we’d be calling zombies in the zombie apocalypse zombies, and not something like Walkers, Clickers, or muartos.
My vote? Might as well finish what you started with Final Fantasy, right?
One of the most annoying things I found about this season (and there were many) but this thing was hilarious, annoying and unrealistic all at once and that would be the name calling, seemingly everyone who's just met all immediately start calling each other by shortened versions of their names or nicknames which is obviously a thing you call someone you're familiar with, the doctor woman who is ridiculously wishy-washy pretty much just met Javier and then immediately starts calling him Javi like they've known each other for ages same thing with Clementine calling him that too and same thing with Javier calling Clementine Clem, people in The Walking Dead Universe are inherently paranoid and for some reason oddly paranoid about giving out their names sometimes so that is quite unrealistic and trust issues are not overcome that quickly at all, you're not just going to suddenly start feeling comfortable enough to start calling someone a nickname like you've known each other for years the only exception perhaps being Jesus but then he introduces himself as such
*Thank you‼* 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏼
😂👍🏻💯
Sin 57: Clem's shadow is within the tree shadow, her shadow wouldn't have fallen in the grave anyway
Okay, so I'm gay for Jesus.
fite me
Jesus and Javier shacking up would half the amount of sins for me for this terrible season. It's too bad it wouldn't happen since the game tries to force you to be with Kate and Jesus is a comic canon character.
Alicia is an Otaku | No fighting because of that, i don'r really care if you like like him
I am genuinely surprised that there was no sin for Joan's hand phasing through her cup at 18:30
Sleep, pfffffffft, screw that! LET'S WATCH SOME DARTIGAN
Dranigames #watchingat12am
Sin 1: Telltale had Clementine eat an apple. Sin 2: They ruined Clementine! Sin 3: They killed Kenny; it's bad enough Lee, Omid, Christa, and Carley died! Sin 4: Trip would be best friends with Snow. Sin 5: Shoehorned love interest for Clementine or anyone else really. Sin 6: Period conversation.
^This
The overall dialogue and writing in this season is simply ass.
