    Troy Baker as the hero, villain, and love interest? Damn, I'd pay good money to see that. Maybe add in Nolan North for all the extras. It'd be great to see what 1-2 voice actors can do for an entire game.

      the thing is that few people are as good and often when they use non voice actors they end up redoing it. let's just say some actors that come in expect to be treated like movie stars. So it's one of the few jobs were being an asshole hurts cause there are 30 others that can do ur voice. Nolan north only does his own voice alot because of the companies thought he could be a "star" because of his popularity, now however he has done more work that requires u to listen for him, like last of us. But he and troy r amazing, infact walken doesn't want to do adr after a movie so nolan has done it for 15+ years.

      +akrybion It was meant to be a generic description of the "you and I are alike" dialogue cliche. CreditR01 Yes, Vicki Vale is the villian, I know it seems odd but trust ne, if you actually play the game it all comes together in the end. It's a good alteration to the lore and fits the story well.

    • @ShinobiPXO
      @ShinobiPXO 7 лет назад +22

      They didn't make Vikci Vale a villain. They made their own villain, Victoria Arkham, aka, Lady Arkham. Her parents ran Arkham but after they were killed, she was sent to a foster home with the Vale family, and later took the last name Vale to hide her identity

    • @ryancarson6962

      ShinobiPXO no that's still Vicki Vale. That's just giving her a different name.

    • @ShinobiPXO
      @ShinobiPXO 7 лет назад +14

      +Ryan Carson No, that is just Victoria Arkham pretending to be Vicki Vale. Vikci Vale was never related to the Arkams, she never had a vendetta against the Wayne family, nor was she ever abused by her parents, who were her *birth* parents, not foster ones. The Lady Arkham we get in this game is a fundamentally different person from who Vicki Vale is supposed to be, so we can safely say she is not the same character

    • @ryancarson6962
      @ryancarson6962 7 лет назад +13

      ShinobiPXO she is. It's just Vicki Vale with a twist put on her like with the Waynes. And while non telltale Vicki isn't like this, telltale Vicki is like this. This is just a different version of Vicki Vale. Like regime superman from injustice or all those different movie batmans. So she isn't the same character but a different version of the character.

      gameplayer2014 true but it depends on the difference in weight and the distribution of that weight. In a vacuum environment with no wind resistance or air, all objects fall at the same speed. With air pressure factoring in, heavy objects fall faster due to increased gravitational pull toward the earth. But, heavy objects that are widely shaped have more surface area for air to push against them and slow the falling speed. So the ideal speed would be a heavy person whose weight is distributed thinly or focused in one spot rather than a heavy person with a wide berth all around.

    The thing I hate about Telltale is that they never stick to their plans for stories, each episode gives them time for re writes but they never explain the stuff they were building up. Example the big hulking Zombie dude with the right arm red veins. I had to find out on a wiki that this was blockbuster and he looked like a cool threat. then you see when people get infected with the drug they have blue veins on their right arm. you are thinking" oh so is zombie dude some sorta prototype, is he still alive, what caused that reaction?" then NOTHING. they literally put him in a corner in Arkham and he never says jack shit. like Oh ok we are done with this guy never speak of him again on what he was, nope you cannot even talk to him he is done.
    I can think of more example like why did Vikki wait that long to kill the foster parents if they were actual monsters, why did we never go into more detail about crooked Wayne and we just had to accept that he was like that to people. where the fuck did lady arkham get her fucking tech from!?!.

How can a drug that affects your DNA (however that works, their description was very vague - though "targeting proteins" implies it messes up the transcription or replication, unless they've mistaken the nucleobases for proteins IT'S NOT THE SAME DAMNIT) almost instantly change your behaviour for a short time? Shouldn't it be a neurotoxin (affecting brain etc.) instead?

    3:39 that metaphor fails on so many levels. For one, why would you want to scatter your connections and resources instead of keeping them neatly pooled together?
    And you're basically chasing them and by making them move youre either repelling them away from you in ways you didn't intend, or youre intentionally taking them off the table and driving them into holes where you can no longer call on them in the future to "make them move".
    Pool doesn't translate.

    “By the way, can we have a game where Troy Baker plays the hero, the villain, and the love interest? I feel he could pull it off.
    " Picture it!
    The male hero: ruggedly handsome.
    The male villain: devilishly handsome.
    The love interest: a beautiful mix of stereotypically feminine and masculine qualities. Example…
    stereotypically Masculine -> He can rewire his kitchen…
    stereotypically Feminine -> and bake a cake in it.
    stereotypically Feminine -> He writes flowery lovely poetry…
    stereotypically Masculine -> and he’s a rock god with his mighty shredding axe.
    You get the idea. The kicker is the Love Interest is an ugly man.
    Can you imagine, as you play the game, the Villain meets the Love Interest and the Villain’s like “He left me for you? WTF?! I get it, it’s the winning personality thing. He feels sorry for you"
    You have the option of making the Love Interest raise a BFG and shooting the Villain dead as a reaction. That's a great excuse to have a boss fight.
    Or, you can make the Love Interest say a one-liner, then shoot the Villain.

    24:45 Well, to be fair, this kind of his thing : in the graphic novels, it's definitely not uncommon for The Joker to have knowledge of criminal activity before Batman uncovers it and he does tease him about it on very rare occasions. The most surprising thing about it is that the reader is often left to wonder how he gained that knowledge, exactly (especially if he's seemingly isolated in a cell). Then again, some stories show that he knows exactly how to convince people into doing his bidding or giving him the information he wants. It's one of his character attributes - like Batman's ability to sneak past anyone and into any place.

    After these latest two episode, I've seen a trend when it comes to likes and dislikes. When he does a game that more people feel like it deserves sins, they usually say things like "Thank you" or "This game deserved all the sins it got," but when he does games that many feel are really good, like Final Fantasy 15, you will usually see more comments like "This was too nitpicky" or "You just didn't understand the game you idiot."

      +Frederico Machado What else would you call a story with easy-to-spot plot holes, loose ends, and pretend choices? Other than TellTale Games incarnate?

    I have a problem with the 69th sin (no joke intended). EVERYONE who has made that kind of money, has had to due something at some point in their life, that's morally compromising. From laying people off, to using shady business tactics, to making people over pay, it doesn't matter. You can't have uncompromised morals and billions of dollars at the same time. It's just how money if that caliber is made, and kept.

      Lol another one of these. "it's literally impossible to become wealthy without being shady or exploiting people, only because I can't possibly comprehend the idea of it or have not seen it personally or have had proof of it but refuse to see it as proof."
      It's an idiotic and childish belief. Most people who argue this only argue it by twisting legitimate means and work into abuse and manipulation, while any and all proof to the contrary is dismissed.
      "this guy and his family worked for decades saving their money and climbing their way up from the bottom in order to make an honest living and now have wealth to show for it."
      "Oh they climbed their way up, huh? So that means they put people beneath them and stepped on them and abused and took advantage of them and their labor in order to succeed. THAT'S SHADY AND WRONG!"
      Bullshit strawmen arguments like that.

    Or maybe Montoya didn't actually see the person who drugged her. I'm surprised you didn't sin it for Bruce immediately suspecting Oswald for saying about revolution.
