"The trucker from earlier was bitten, got back in his truck and instead of going for medical help, just kept driving into the city." Unless, you know, the hospital was in the city. Like most hospitals are.
Yes. But, given the state of Raccoon City, it's highly probable he wouldn't have been able to reach anyone on the phone (ambulance or police) and, thus, decided to get to the hospital on his own.
Not really covered in RE2make, but Raccoon City was locked down and communications were cut to prevent news getting out. Likely Umbrella's influence, hoping the nuking or carpet bombing would cover up any and all evidence. Still never explained how the National Guard or whoever completely missed Leon and Claire.

Because, scripted, duh Edit And it seem Leon got there first. So ada couldn't do her hacking without giving away she was a spy, thus she sounding like a FBI agent sounded more gullible for a cop don't you think?
Why wouldn't you stock up on big guns when making doomsday viruses? The tanker toting Eveline in RE7 had weapons that would make Ethan gladly give up his other hand to use in the game's intro.

i mean they kinda were responsible for literally every horrible thing that happened to her in the game he father stuffed a parasite down her throat infecting her they entrusted her with a pendant they knew dangerous ruthless organizations would do anything to get causing her to get kidnapped and her mother got mad at her for running for her life and didnt really put much thought into whether she was safe or not so im not surprised
Yeah. We either don't believe shit until we see it or believe it right away but do nothing with the information and they pick and choose between the two.
Yeah, look at COVID. We saw it growing on a global scale and ignored it until it was already a problem. That's what added a little irony to the release of RE3 when it followed in the middle of COVID.
I was happy that they showed Mr. X to both Leon and Claire, it would have made no sense for only one of them to encounter it, but having the same bosses at the exact same locations, same puzzles. Annette dies twice, Mr. X keep chasing Leon even after being killed by William in Claire's run, I can't understand how much Lazy the devs were to never notice that OBVIOUS FLOW.
Birkin pursued Claire and sherry bc he wanted to incest Sherry but I think Mr X pursued Leon bc Leon was a cop and Mr X was made to dispose of witnesses, mainly police officers. If anything, having Mr X pursue Claire and Birking chase Leon makes no sense.
@@darkellthepiercer i didnt mind the enemies but it doesnt explain as to why the puzzles had to be redone. also they could have expanded the orphanage for claire and jail area for leon to make a bit different more
The fact that Leon and Claire never meet up was one of the most disappointing things about the remake. It seemed like a massive oversight considering how good the game was overall.
Seriously, they ran into each other at least twice in the OG RE2. In the police department where they agree to split up and after Leon got himself shot. In both scenarios, they try to keep in contact over the radio. In the remake, we get that one awkward dialogue scene and then they never cross paths again. I really don't get it.
The remake was awesome in pretty much every way except for the A/B scenarios, as they got lazy by having Leon and Claire do a lot of the same things in ways that couldn't possibly take place in the same continuity
It kinda drives me crazy they didn't take the time to make that mechanic where what you do with one character effects the other work. It is extremely innovative and cool. I keep explaining it to younger gamers who didn't play the original and it is fascinating in a gaming community where we often replay games multiple times.
Tyler Russell no it was definitely lazy the original had different type of scenes played in the order you went and things actually effected the other scenarios i call bullshit lazy developers in this one but the game still great but it’s also disappointing so i gave this remake a 8.5/10 and the reason i give it 85% because the fact that zombies head Don’t even explode sometimes and takes multiple headshots which is ridiculous and the shotgun with leon is weak asf when you try headshoting somebody in the head with it doesn’t even do anything sometimes i find that to be annoying asf i love the remake but they could’ve done more with it and another reason why i give it that score is because the original soundtrack in some areas just don’t sound right i payed money for it i expected it to be a bit louder in the ending level but instead it sounds weirdly placed in this remake the newer sounds even sound better at some points but other than the criticism i still love this remake
I think a lot of you who complain about missing components fail to realize that this isn’t a polygon level console. They could rush the og out in the record time they did, because a lot of what made that game bulky, was repetitive. It was easy to make two different scenarios because environmentally, they weren’t very different, and as far as the zapping effect goes, RE is a very story driven game, and having it the og was interesting to experience, but confusing for the story considering they didn’t match up. The remake offers a linear storyline that explains everything. It doesn’t necessarily need a zapping system past what it already has with notes from whoever was Scenario A and the beginning helicopter scene. The story adds up regardless in the end. I think what they did was smart for the brand, not too much, not too carbon copy, but certainly not missing anything vital. Before anyone mentions anything, no. The spiders were not fuckin important. Just because they were og doesn’t mean they make any sense and that they fit. Also that would be a lot on the graphics since they’re hairy and I’m willing to bet it was too much all at once for a console to handle smoothly.
Seriously, the laziness of the 2nd Runs never fail to piss me off. They should have just gone with ClaireA/LeonB, which used to be the canon, and just interconnected their base campaigns or going about wholly different paths.
@@silverblade357 Ada: here's G sample that you asked for Wesker: Well done, where did you get it? Ada: Got it while kissing Leon whose mouth was filled with sewer water and G-mutants, oh, since I retrieved it from my mouth, it contains our saliva as well.
@Flower Girl I thought it was better in this one. Leon took a bullet for Ada and went through everything to save her. She showed two sides in this kiss, that she started liking leon and that it was manipulative with the hand touching his leg. This is until their interaction where leon got info on Ada and she made the choice that it was feelings. Although my least favorite part was the fall, it needed more out of Ada. She seemed so calm about falling. But it's all opinion and besides, it is a remake so things will be different
Honestly I thought the kiss scene was more manipulative rather than her showing her feelings like the original RE2. And when Leon found out about her, she didn't shoot him because she simply didn't want to hurt an innocent man. it's part of Ada's character not wanting to hurt innocent people. she does care about him no doubt but I don't think she has loving feelings for him at least in this remake. In the original the kiss was more sincere since she was ''dying'' at the time. Anyways I like Ada's character but I always preferred Leon's relationship with Claire even though there's no romance between them. It just feels more natural between those two. But then that's just my opinion.
No worries about the English. there's no doubt they care about each other and don't want to hurt one another and they're definitely attracted to each other. But to say it's love just after a couple of hours is very far fetched. When Leon says ''I don't think you can shoot me'' it is because he sees good in her. They have feelings for each other but its not love at least in this remake and in the original, I think even Capcom saw it far fetched that they fell in love after just a couple of hours which is why they cut out the whole ''Ada confessing her love to him''. Its part of Ada's character to save innocent people's lives. Just like she saved Ashley's in RE4, Jake and Sherry's in RE6. Capcom describes their relationship perfectly in an RE6 file. It says ''they developed a bond throughout the raccoon city tragedy. they are not friends and neither enemies. Their relationship is complicated''. Sorry its so long :P
My bad man but the bursting through walls was first created in resident evil 2 the original game, then continued in resident evil 3 with nemesis. Then in cutscenes on resident evil 4,5 and 6. And then it was bringed back on resident evil 7 as a mechanic for the enemy. So no, resident evil 2 did it first. Take off the sin on that one
Yeah but Mr.X in this game was actually programmed after Jack Baker from RE7, so they definitelly reused that whole "burst through wall" animation for this remake
4:36 Wrong, Leon can't enter the STARS office until he meets Claire outside. He needs the bolt cutters form the fire escape to get the valve that lets you access the second floor
@@BassicKMuziche does, but how can he get into the stars station, write a letter for Claire, without getting the valve after speaking with Claire...
In RE 2 remake I think the canon story is a mix between the two scenarios: Leon gets to the police station first and meets Marvin, but then he doesn't encounter Birkin G1 but goes straight to the parking lot, later Claire finds Sherry and fights Birkin G1 that's why by the time she goes to the parking Leon has already been there so she finds the dead dogs of Leon's scenarios and the Lickers. There are also two mr x one that chases Leon/Claire in the police station and that dies in the final battle with Leon at the end, and another one in the sewers that gets killed by Birkin G3 in Claire's scenario. Also I think Claire goes past Leon and Ada when Leon gets shot, and she arrives first to the sewers and the labs but without fighting Birkin G2, that is fought later by Leon. Then Claire takes the G antidote using Sherry's pendant but doesn't fight Birkin G3. Leon arrives after her takes the G virus fights G3, Annette is wounded, but in the canon doesn't die already but actually goes taking care of Sherry and meets up with Claire. Then Annette loses counsciousness and is believed dead by Claire and Sherry before they escape. Leon meets Ada after that but with her last strenghts Annette is able to shoot her before finally die. Claire fights G4, while Leon fights the Tyrant. In the end Leon is the one who protects Claire and Sherry by going to fight G5 since Sherry says in the canon (RE 6) that Leon "saved her life back in Raccoon City". And there you go that's my theory for the RE2 remake official canon story. PS: in the original RE 2 it was confirmed that the canon story was Leon B/Claire A by the following games and Chronicles spin offs, so Mr. X was Leon's nemesis just like Birkin was for Claire. Also the note you find in Ben's cell says the Tyrant got unleashed by Umbrella to make sure no sure no survivor of the outbreak escaped the city alive.

I'm gonna correct some of the ones that are not sins: 0:24 Did you forget that Raccoon City is a small ass town in the middle of nowhere? It is also implyed that Umbrella covered up the whole outbreak. Since Umbrella was directly connected to the U.S goverment, it was pretty easy to cover everything up. All people had were rumors. 0:53 Pretty sure this radio interview was recorded before the city gets infested with monsters. 1:23 This wasn't very far away from Raccoon City. And even small nukes can destroy cities this size AND the surrounding area. 1:38 What's the point though? Asking questions while driving away from monsters isn't very smart. Hi. Mr. X smashing through a wall is not borrowed on Jack of Resident evil 7 and in any case it was vice versa. Long time ago, the old Resident evil 2 made this scene. In otherwords, they just made the scene better and it's not from Re7. (Edit) Also all of the parts are accurate and I love it but not this part. 7:25
not to mention its probably a bit more effective here, because even though you would have expected it in the original? you had to go into the room mr X and jack were in for them to smash through the wall. Here is a bit more unexpected because you didint go into the room first lol
8:08 This part too makes me think this dude barely ever played the original. Yeah, it was real intense. Literally turn around, push a button, and fire a single bullet. At least in this you could actually die the first time around if you aren't paying attention. A bit cheap, but no worse than the original. Bet he was one of the people who never figured out to release the canister.
The classic Licker jumping through the interrogation room glass gave me a nostalgia boner, I LOVED that they included that. The birds smashing through all the windows was also a huge scare for me way back when.
14:39 No, Leon and Claire start off with a Visitor badge, it makes sense you would only be able to access the lobby and cafeteria since a visitor would only be allowed in those places A note also says that Visitor badges are given to the family of employees, not employees.
Mr. X, or T-00, was one of six (Last I checked) T-103 model Tyrants that were deployed into Raccoon for data and combat testing. Mr. X was specifically tasked with retrieving the G-Virus sample contained in Sherry's pendant. The _other_ T-103 unit roaming the RCPD was programmed with the same mission as the other four: eliminate any and all survivors of the outbreak. This one ends up fighting Leon in his penultimate boss fight. Mr. X ends up being eliminated by G2 while pursuing Sherry.

Yes, thank you for stating this. Upon arrival, there is a note in the lobby that fully explains the Level 1 badge that Sherry has. Man, i love Leon, he's my favorite RE character, but i gotta say, this Remake made he's part of the story kinda pointless, this Remake could've easily been a Claire solo game. In the Original each character were doing their own thing, but both Leon and Claire kept radio contact with each other and at the end both did something to move the plot foward. Like for example a major plot moment where Leon rescues Sherry while Claire is making the Anti-Virus, Leon also activates the Train so the 3 of them can escape. In RE6 Shery mentions that BOTH Leon and Claire helped her back in Raccoon City. That statement was true when looking back at the Original RE2 But what about the remake? Leon doesn't even meet Sherry until the Train ride. Claire is the one that does EVERYTHING for Sherry, hell it's Claire that activates the train this time too. And what is Leon doing? Being played around by Ada. At the end Ada didnt even get the G-Virus sample and Leon just got "lucky" getting to the train in time.
@Brian Cornell But Leon DID help her in the original. And Leon at least sees her walking around the RPD too, she drops the Diamond Key when he chases her. In the Remake Sherry remains unknown to Leon until the end.
I always thought looking for an “escape” from the police station they just willingly walked into was comically stupid. At least, in RE1, they somewhat make sense of being trapped in the mansion due to the dogs stalking them out front. Also, they were chased into the mansion, but these two idiots willingly go into the police station because Leon “wants to help/it’s his first day”, and Claire “is looking for her brother.” Couldn’t either of them have called and found out the city was abandoned well before putting themselves in danger?
Leon had been trying to make contact with the RPD, but was not getting any responses. Complete 'radio silence'. So, curious and alarmed by this, he decided to drive into the city and see what the hell was going on.
16:15 My problem with that scene is how quickly Ada gives up the act. She went through all that saying she was FBI and even got a fake badge, but the second anyone asks her she let's out the truth. That entire scene was incredibly stupid.
It was cheesy fun. Felt like it came right out of a late 80s or early 90s action movie. Everything about the final act up to the sunny fade out and ending song gave me that vibe. I mean that in the best way possible though.
My impression is she knew Leon wouldn't buy it and they didn't have a lot of time. More to the point, why did Leon trust the lady who nearly murdered him on several occasions over the lady who saved him on several occasions more, to the point of making a scene on a collapsing bridge.
To be fair, there was a countdown to a self destruct going on. I mean, maybe she rightly figured, "I don't have time for this shit, just give me the virus!"
I honestly preferred the way annette scoulded leon in the original (ie you just don't get it do you, you're so gullible) as leon was. Ada telling leon she was fbi was almost about as believable to me as snake telling homer simpons nerd friends he was a wallet inspector (...except homer realised he wasn't a wallet inspector...bit late though lol). Anyone in resident evil who either has sunglasses on all the time at night or is russian (re3) has a million and one red flags on their heads.
How dare you poke fun at a game I enjoy. Let me go through this systematically and tell you about how an obscure note I had to look up on the internet to find proves your points are all wrong.

Nothing is a masterpiece. I suppose it is all personal preference. Obviously long time fans will be heavily biased and they will defend this game aggressively because the idea that someone... NO, anyone thinks the game is anything but a masterpiece hurts their personal enjoyment of said media. Fuck anyone who acts this way. I love a lot of things, but I also have eyes and can't ignore the problems of those things. Resident evil 2 is a little hyped at the moment, much like The Last of us when it released... and Red dead redemption 2, but I saw plenty of problems with both of those games, despite enjoying them. In short... NOTHING is impervious to criticism.
Puri Puri Prisoner the original had similar puzzles just in different locations. It also has the same zombies and bosses. In fact, this remake at least gives them a different final boss for their A scenarios
Ryan Lowrie I love Resident Evil ever since I played the original of the RE2, but I’m unbiased enough to recognize the game has flaws just like any other game. It isn’t a masterpiece but it’s a damn good experience nonetheless

This isn't common knowledge it's pretty deep lore. But there were actually four T-103 tyrants that were released in Raccoon City in the original continuity. One was sent to collect a G-virus sample, one was sent to kill any surviving witnesses (the one in the police station), one was sent after Sherry for "experimental reasons", and the last one was sent to kill an expeditionary squad of U.S. Special Forces at the Raccoon City power plant (it's believed this one was the one who got killed and partially eaten by Nemesis in RE3). They were there because at this point Umbrella had lost all political sway and the higher echelons of government knew what happened and what was happening. Not long after Leon survived the army actually did quarantine Raccoon City, arriving just behind him.
Yup. The biggest problem with the remake is they failed to adequately tell the actual story of Resident Evil 2. The original did this better. There was no intro in the beginning that explained there was a T-Virus outbreak in the mountains. And that the G-virus was a whole new type of virus, even though the T-Virus was infecting the city now.
They never showed that the Tyrant was dropped by helicopter, like the original did, revealing that he was sent by someone (which the player could infer was Umbrella). Instead, he just inexplicably appears...at the helicopter crash site...which has nothing to do with him, and which was also unexplained in this remake. Also, in the original game, the Tyrant is not just pursuing any survivor and killing them. He has a specific mission--to get the G-virus sample, which is in Sherry's pendant. So he was always chasing her, not Leon or Claire. They changed this in the remake. Now he is just chasing...anyone and everyone who is alive. Which is a lazier and way less interesting choice (and just a replica of Nemesis?). Remember in the original when Ada realizes Mr. X is after the G-Virus and she throws it into the lava pit and the he jumps into it? Leading to his final form when he emerges from the pit? That was good storytelling within the gameplay. This remake lacks that.
You realize that the developers have said like thirty times that this game is a re-imagining of the original, right? Like, as in it's it's OWN THING and therefore doesn't need to be a shot-for-shot recreation of the original... I'm a big nerd for the RE lore myself, but here's a simple solution if you can wrap your head around this... You ready? RE2 (1998) = Primary Universe/Canon RE2 (2019) = Alternate Timeline/Non Canon They called it a remake, not a remaster. The RE1 remake changed and added a lot of shit too, but most people (myself included) tend to regard the RE1 remake as a much better game overall, despite changes to the story and characters. Personally, canon or not I think this remake is a fucking masterpiece in just about every way, and succeeds in everything it sets out to do gameplay-wise.
I mean, it's not like remake quite literally means re (again) make (create.) As in, the result of remaking an existing property can and will likely be different in many ways to the original. Realistically It's a little confusing to fans of the OG that they basically made the story of the remake into the same situation as Chris and Jill from RE1, where it's the same story either way... But RE games aren't honestly renowned for their storytelling. Pioneering horror and providing atmospheric experiences are what they're good at. Until RE5 and beyond, then things got messy but hey...
It's obvious from the get go, Capcom had no intention of making this game for those who cherished the original. The original RE2 is still the better game, and the Gamecube remake is by far the superior remake.
The OP isn’t saying that the remake should have used the same explanations as the original game. They’re saying that it should just have more interesting explanations. And that some key info was left out. Even if they changed it from the original.
7:22. No! That's not ripping off jack from re7. Mr X did the same thing in the original. This is a remake! 8:55. Wrong again. Birkin was in both senarios and Mr X was only in part B. Each character did NOT have their own nemesis. 18:07. And what's wrong with that? It makes sense to me.
Nope. Birkin was the nemesis of the A scenario while Mr X was the nemesis for the B scenario. So if Leon is A, he wil be chased by Birkin, and if he's B he'll be chased by Mr X. Same for Claire.

16:28 You can clearly see from Annette’s camera shot that, if aiming really well, she could’ve pulled off a shot that went right past Leon’s head and shoulder and went into Ada’s chest on the right. A very precise shot to aim for, but certainly not impossible
I have to agree with you about the A and B scenarios. Despite how awesome this game is Capcom, didn't excute the differentiation between the scenarios. This is pretty the same narrative inconsistencies that the first Resident Evil suffered from.😟
They said from the beginning that the "zapping" system of A/B would not be here. No overlap and no effect of one on the other. What we have is similar, but it is also how they said it would be.
@@AthenisKS81 Still a huge shame... Its not even asking for something not needed... But it doesn't make sense.. That's why it's frustrating, you have to imagine it's partly a parallel universe.. Urgh... Oh well
5:08, So true about the "different dimensions", the A/B scenarios in this game were poorly designed, the only thing that changes is the location we start, the rest is completely the same. The original each scenario was different for example Claire A Sherry gets infected, but Claire B Sherry does not get infected. The locations Leon and Claire meet are different: STARS Office or the hallway next to the library. Ben and Irons either get infected or simply killed by Birkin depending who you're playing the A/B scenarios. 7:23 - More like Jack copies Mr.X, because he does that in the Original RE2, and in the same location too, remember the lighter puzzle? Mr.X smashes through the wall twice, once going in, and once getting out when we're in that hallway. 8:07 - intense? When was fighting that Alligator intense? You drop the gas tank, wait for it to put in its mouth and the, fire ONE bullet, bang! It's OVER! 8:59 - it's the other way around, the canon story is Claire A/Leon B, so Claire confronts Birkin while Leon fights the Mr.X/Tyrant.
@@szybowiec2140 pal, Claire MUST fight Birkin because Birkin is always following Sherry, also Sherry only gets infected in Claire A which gives way to RE6 Sherry, and Leon MUST be B fighting Mr. X so that the rocket launcher scene at the end makes sense
Sin 10: Raccoon City was barricaded for most of the outbreak, until the day RE2 takes place. Sin 12: There are hospitals in the city... Sin 13: Claire had no way to get to the front of the station. Sin 19: Just a guess, but Irons probably told Leon to stay away since he's involved with Umbrella. The less people meddling, the better. Sin 24: Leon didnt have access to the STARS room at this time. He doesnt get the boltcutters, valve, or STARS badge to access it until after this cutscene. Sin 36: Jack stole it from Mr. X, not the other way around. Mr. X busted through the wall in the og RE2. Sin 60: There were 6 T-103's dropped in Raccoon City. Only 1 was dropped in the RPD though. Sin 63: Annette had nothing to do with the creation of the T-Virus from my understanding. That was Marcus and Birkin. Sin 75: Is it really incest if its not sexual? G implants embryos in a hosts body - it doesnt fuck people. If it was sexual, how could Irons have produced a G embryo? Sin 83: She meant they didnt mean for the outbreak to occur. Why would they want to cause an outbreak? Sin 97: Its possible that the truck driver didnt know of the outbreak. The trucker at the beginning didnt. And Raccoon City wasnt nuked until the end of RE3.
Cyberote yes incest is still incest if it’s not sexual, the entire reason humans exist to have sex is to reproduce and if you’re trying to reproduce with your biological offspring then it’s incest
Sin 36, I don't think you ever played the Original. Mr X broke through the wall first in the original RE2, it only make sense that Mr X also did it in remake. Jack are the one that took the idea, ffs.
I played RE2 several times as a kid. I had completely forgotten about that guy and many other things. It's understandable that someone would forget something as obscure as a character crashing through a wall. ffs.
He was more or less sinning the reused animation if anything. I bet if you compared the hole Jack and X did they would be the same or very similar. I don't remember the B scenario too much, but at least some of Mr. X crash-through-the-wall scenes were actually cut scenes, not gameplay.
No, the animation is different. In RE7, Jack more or less "walk through" as the wall crumble down around him. Meanwhile in RE2 Mr X smash through the wall before walking pass it.
Dartigan appears to suffer from the memory loss cliche he sins all the time. "What was once a pretty intense boss fight is now just running at the camera". Only running at the camera is exactly what you do with the alligator in the original. Atleast now you can actually get EATEN on the way first. Mr. X also busted through the wall in the original long before jack was even thought about but i wouldnt be suprised if he forgets that nemesis does the same thing in re3 and sins it in that remake too. Mark my words.
Also, he called the Alligator battle intense or something. 1. Run away 2. Push the canister down 3. Wait for the Ali to swallow it 4. End of boss battle Yeah, intense like all hell.
@@lucasmillerthelewderofloli9327 Or you can be an idiot and kill it with guns without using the canister.Believe me it is intense as he has highest hp of any enemy in the entire game, he hits hard even on Easy and Rookie mode and finally he also kills you instantly if he reaches the end of that tunnel area regardless of your health condition.
In regards to the coloured chips for access to different parts of NEST. Claire and Leon each get a bracelet that, explained in a file, only allows visitor access, which can be given to family members of staff. The next one they get is for General staff.
Yep, most of the "sins" are him not thinking before he states a possibility for each sin. Most can be explained and reasoned yet he goes, "this is stupid because with our omniscient point of view, we know otherwise would be more likely or make more sense." He does have a point in several of these issues but he lacks plenty of logic in a majority.

If you're going to make a statement like that, the least you could do is back it up with what facts you believe to be wrong and evidence of why they are wrong
I'm conflicted on whether that should be a sin or not. It was creative in the original when they did it, then they did it in RE3 except in different ways. Pretty sure all the REs had some sort of wall busting variation so if anything it's -1 because it's not original at all at this point. Plus this was a reimagining so that takes away them having to do everything the same as the original.
I'm surprised no one talks about this but since Claire is 19 during the events of RE2 that would mean it wouldn't make sense for her to start off with a revolver in the remake since it would be illegal for her to possess a handgun under the age of 21.
4:43 When you first come back from the West hallway Marvin will tell you to meet the Scenario B character outside, meaning you had no time to get to the STARS office since you need the Round handle in the East hallway that you can't get to without bolt cutters (which are right next to Leon) to stop the steam on the 2nd floor to open the way to the STARS office. Leon hasn't been in the office.
To see the letter you’ll need to get both the jewel and fancy box combined to get the USB stick to get into the weapons cache to see the letter. To get the box though you need to go into the linen room with a Diamond key which isn’t available until you go down into the morgue which is only possible after going into the basement
8:05 It was never a boss fight, in the original he just ran along and bit an explosive barrel and died. Here like with Marvin they gave the aligator some more screen time. Do you just pick sins out of what your twitch chat is saying?
yeah in the original you kinda just had to run and escape until he bit on the canister then shoot it, but you can also do it the hard way by unloading everything u got on him
trucker gets into to truck and continues driving into the city, he didnt think about getting medical attention. Hmmm, call me crazy but maybe thats what he was doing driving into raccoon city to do just that? im pretty sure raccoon city had more than a gas station and a police department and some buildings in it, like maybe it did have a hospital. like "ahh shit i just got bit by some crazy chick, i can either turn around and drive the hours from where i came from to get the hospital or i can drive the couple miles i was from the city to their hospital." seems like a no brainer to me 🤷♂️
Yeah but from the way he's holding himself, the wound seems to be near the neck or shoulder area. Those can bleed a lot. It would might also impair your ability to drive. Not saying your wrong, but anyone would think that driving after receiving a maybe fatal wound that is bleeding more than it should is literally courting more trouble than he started out with.
It's either get there as quick as you can driving or hoofing it or dying on the road still a mile and a half from where he was plus not even counting if she would still go after him had he hiked it down the road. Personally I'd say take the truck and get to the city as quick as possible. May be stupid and cause more damage but you'd have more of a chance driving than you would the alternative.
3:28 That actually sounds exactly like something Chief Irons would order considering he was making weird commands to spread the officers too thin to actually help.
"The trucker from earlier was bitten, got back in his truck and instead of going for medical help, just kept driving into the city." Unless, you know, the hospital was in the city. Like most hospitals are.
😂😂
I was looking for that comment.

The fact that Leon and Claire never meet up was one of the most disappointing things about the remake. It seemed like a massive oversight considering how good the game was overall.

It kinda drives me crazy they didn't take the time to make that mechanic where what you do with one character effects the other work. It is extremely innovative and cool. I keep explaining it to younger gamers who didn't play the original and it is fascinating in a gaming community where we often replay games multiple times.
I wish there had been scenario interaction, as well.
It would have been great.
Exactly it was just lazy developers
So, are we just gonna ignore Ada wearing shades in the middle of the night and indoors?
True
To cover her face if someone might recognize her
Not like she's the first RE character to do that.
Ada's vision is augmented, it seems.
Only Wesker has the right to do that
when Ada kissed Leon, I was wondering whether Ada knew that Leon landed in the sewer with his face down.
The poison from the G-mutants helped him wash off!
@@silverblade357 Ada: here's G sample that you asked for
Wesker: Well done, where did you get it?

That statement was true when looking back at the Original RE2
But what about the remake? Leon doesn't even meet Sherry until the Train ride.
Claire is the one that does EVERYTHING for Sherry, hell it's Claire that activates the train this time too.
And what is Leon doing? Being played around by Ada.
At the end Ada didnt even get the G-Virus sample and Leon just got "lucky" getting to the train in time.
@Brian Cornell But Leon DID help her in the original.
And Leon at least sees her walking around the RPD too, she drops the Diamond Key when he chases her.
In the Remake Sherry remains unknown to Leon until the end.
@@Hadeshi. true but tbh who cares its still a good game
@Masterffc Yes but generally, for make a remake you don't want ruin an entire saga and story already damaged by many and many errors.
If it's a remake, then they can't just get rid of the main character. It's a REMAKE. They have to be faithful to the original.

I was about to say the same. And it was the wall of the press room, too.
Yeah I was about to type furiously abot how Jack borrowed that bit from 1998 Mr. X and not the other way round!
Can't get to the STARS office before that leon/claire scene.
7:31 he did that in the original, they re-used it in RE7

Them having a duel off while a self destruct was going on was dumb. Pure 90's dumbness

It's a really good remake, but I ain't gonna let it slide that the Claire side has the exact same zombies, puzzles and boss as Leon's
Puri Puri Prisoner Yeah and I didn’t understand why Claire and Leon never ran into each other as much as they should’ve.

Hearing those stomps are terrifying when you’re all alone. Anxiety central lol
You ready?
RE2 (1998) = Primary Universe/Canon
RE2 (2019) = Alternate Timeline/Non Canon
They called it a remake, not a remaster.
Joaquín Sandoval difference is Claire a is canon

It's the chief who put the things all around the police station to prevent the police officer to succeed.. (electric parts, electronic parts etc).. You can Read the memo about the missing pieces in the lockers room!!

Oh agreed the gameplay was smooth and the jumps were great, Mr x was done perfect. 4th survivor scenario was tense and handled perfect.
Leon A is canon....
@@szybowiec2140 No it isn't.
@Mihael Jelić Leon A Sherry does not get infected, so it's no canon.

Sin 13: Claire had no way to get to the front of the station.
