I can't agree. If the authorities had no idea of the relationship Rebecca and Billy developed why would they blatantly ignore an official officer's report to waste resources searching for someone "confirmed dead" just because she couldn't bring his dead body with her? I mean, she took his dog tags, right? Considering his reputation as an evil war criminal who shot up a village of innocents you'd think she'd only be able to get those if he was already dead or she killed him. 15:27-16:44 There were TWO DIFFERENT laboratories, they just looked similar (probably because devs reused some assets/locations from OG RE2). The first (Birkin's) one was underneath Raccoon City, the second one was underneath the Umbrella Training Facility (the second mansion in the Arklay mountains). You can see some differences between these two labs though. That lab from RE0 looked pretty messed up like it was abandoned for years.
I gotta come after you for the initial radio sins. Rebecca does have a standard issue radio, it's on her model from the start. The radio she picks up and turns off in the early cutscene is a standard AM/FM radio playing a news broadcast, not a walkie talkie.
Until I watched this Sins video, I always believed that the research facility at which Rebecca runs into Enrico was completely different from the facility in RE2. Seriously. I even remember reading that it was supposed to be different, just designed identically. Doesn't that make more sense than the characters somehow being transported across miles of geography??? So if the Spencer mansion was very near the initial landing zone, then the train would have taken Rebecca a few miles away so that she had to walk back. Now, how Enrico made it there and back is a legit plot hole...
RE0 is one of those games where the fan novel by SD Perry explained the lore better. It just dawned on me...the train is going full speed to the training center, wo much so you have to engage the emergency brake, which, of course still results in the train crashing violently.... But birkin asks how did the mansion and the training center get infected AS WELL AS the train 3 MIles away....so the writers actually said the train was only 3 miles from the training center but even if you're a top tier speed runner the train took FOREVER to go 3 miles and even at a snails pace it's too easy....amazing
I just figured the tram and lab have identical copies in RE0 and RE2. Umbrella sometimes rebuilds it's locations in other places, like the Spencer Mansion hall at the base in Antarctica.
I did the knife only run in this game...that bat boss almost drove me to insanity. The rest wasn't that bad since Billy is essentially as durable as Master Chief.
It's interesting to see dartigan's and gcn's perspectives on the partner control system in this game. Dartigan prefers 2 campaigns that overlap, but gcn is just satisfied they added a partner instead of opting for a single solo campaign like re3 remake did.
I love the roasts in this video. They go great with mashed potatoes and green beans, and his monotone accent surprisingly elevates the comedy, nailing home the dry wit aspect of CinemaSins style videos. I wanted RE 0, and I got RE 0. Maybe lightning will strike twice. *ahem* Let's sin Mortal Kombat IX.
The RE2 lab is what I noticed too. It was forced that it didn't make sense being there. The city outbreak hasn't happened yet but it looked abandoned already when the Burkin couple should still be there working. Being the lab still be in operation, Rebecca or even Enrico should've been caught by the security.
The inventory system was so argh. Me going around scattering items like bird droppings everywhere. Who thought it was a brilliant idea to remove the chests anyway?
People complained about chests in RE1 and how they were magically connected soooo when they made RE0 and removed them people still seem to complain xD Ironic a bit
There r things u r wrong about: 1. The one who activated the train r the umbrella soldiers 2. It was mentioned on a train file that they r transporting a monster which is the Scorpion 3. Is it possible that umbrella covered up the explosion that happened 4. I liked the challenge that there r no magical boxes for storing items it made the game harder for first timers
One correction: the leeches, (controlled by Marcus/leech queen) start the train. You see leech residue whenever they fuck with machinery. Its stupid but still consistent with the in-game logic
Going from the drop system in 0, back to the original was hard, but I think my final hoarding spot was the mansion typewriter. Also, the fact that you were never alone is probably why I got through this game much quicker than the other ones. Lol.
There is a major continuity flaw bravo team is only supposed to be out looking for the murderer about an hour before alpha team is supposed to go out looking for bravo team because of a destress call from bravo so at most there could be 2 hours that rebecca could have been on her own before she is found in the Spencer mansion by Chris. So the entire point of re0 is a major plot hole because it even happens
Definitely Mortal Kombat next. But, I don’t think the fixed camera/tank control games were just because of limitations. I think Capcom did it intentionally. Either way, those games were the best in the series partially because of the controls. The only thing that really hurt this game for me was the lack of item boxes, the partner system, the large difficulty between normal and easy, and the eliminator apes.
Wait a second the fact that the place isn't in use makes even less sense when we think about the train going through the training centre. I like to think the training centre & other lab where in use as well it makes the most sense with all the zombies & its just that they were being abandoned or something. The area was being cleaned out & thus they were meant to destroy all the stuff but the T-virus was released. This game makes so many plot holes its just stupid.
Yea I was surprised reading Rebecca’s backstory. In Vendetta, it shows she has been a scientist. Honestly don’t know why she wasn’t that since the beginning. Would have made more sense. But fan service I suppose.
I had this on GameCube and I remember thinking the graphics were a real step up from the last few releases at the time. Everything looked more natural and lived in, with fewer jagged edges than usual.
I'm definitely voting for Street Fighter V. Granted, its business and development history are the most sinful part of it, but the story mode's writing makes the ones in DMC2 and RE5 look good.
In my opinio, Resident Evil 0 would be better if instead of a prequel was a sequel for RE 1 wich shows Rebecca discovering another Umbrella laboratory in Arklay Mountains and with the same ending as RE 0 we would know why Rebecca wasn't in the city during the events of RE 2 and 3. Capcom never told what happened to Rebecca after RE 1 and that RE 0 worked better as a sequel explaining this (same plot, Rebecca helping Billy and same ending and we'd know that Rebecca was in a mission in the mountains and for that reason wasn't in the city during the outbreak)
Stopppppp I loved this game. 25 hrs total of playtime. Played through it 3 times. It was easier than RE1 remake so going through it once you had it memorized was a blast!
If Capcom decides do do another remake of RE1, this time in the RE Engine with the over-the-shoulder camera and modern controls (like 2R, 3R, 4R, etc), I think they should also remake RE0. They would completely decanonize this version and rewrite the story from the ground up. Instead of a train and Billy and giant animals and all that, it focuses on STARTS Bravo Team's helicopter crash and subsequent events in the mansion. We'd see how each character got to where they are, how Enrico got into the tunnels, how Richard encountered Yawn, etc. It would follow (or I guess lead up to) the story of RE1 a lot more closely and fill in necessary plot holes. The remade RE1 campaign would likewise fix plot holes. New RE0 would either be a separate campaign available for DLC (like Separate Ways) or available though video tapes or something in the mansion, where each character would have their own tapes for playable segments. It would give more use to the Kenneth tape when he gets attacked by the bald zombie.
The train starts because (Umbrella Chronicles spoiler) Wesker is assigned with the task of reopening the Training Facility and so he sends the Umbrella Special Forces to do it. That's why you see zombie soldiers a little bit later.
11:00-11:07 In the novelisation Birkin even comments on how they shouldn't be able to hear what he's saying. 12:49-12:54 In the novel that the torture chamber was Marcus's hobby. Even obsessed mad scientists need the odd break here and there.
See the thing about gemstone locked doors is the zombies once said door has been used have a bond that sparks their cognitive ability to remove and hide the gems where they were originally placed
But RE0 was developed for N64 and only then it was moved to NGC... Are you really doing "research" on those streams? For some reason this episode was like nitpicking.
Is it a coincidence that both gaming sin channels i watch both uploaded an re 0 sins video on the same day like at the same time??? Is my brain on fire??

19:21 - I frickin LOL'd - that was pretty funny.
Ok, at least it's a confirmation that GCN still watches the live streams that you do Dart.
I don’t think the cable car goes to Birkin’s lab. It goes to somewhere nearby that just uses the same layout. Cos umbrella.
People complained about chests in RE1 and how they were magically connected soooo when they made RE0 and removed them people still seem to complain xD
Ironic a bit
There r things u r wrong about:
1. The one who activated the train r the umbrella soldiers
2. It was mentioned on a train file that they r transporting a monster which is the Scorpion
3. Is it possible that umbrella covered up the explosion that happened
4. I liked the challenge that there r no magical boxes for storing items it made the game harder for first timers
Is there a reason why you are leaving out the letters "a" and "e"?
@@escapefromtibet2530 huh what do u mean I rechecked the comment and didn't leave any letters well except for using 'u' and 'r'
@@hassanawdi3793 hahaha I'm talking about the fact you are typing "r" instead of "are".
@@escapefromtibet2530 I write them like that
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@DarkAttackYT at least u can drop them anywhere and u can drop a lot of items in big rooms
the re sin everyone missed=
"Oh no i got bitten by a zombie! I need to spray my face so I can feel better!"
One correction: the leeches, (controlled by Marcus/leech queen) start the train. You see leech residue whenever they fuck with machinery. Its stupid but still consistent with the in-game logic
Dartigan and GCN coordinated this upload. 🤣🤣
omg i finished this game like a week ago and watched his streams playing it, im so happy right now!!!!!
Going from the drop system in 0, back to the original was hard, but I think my final hoarding spot was the mansion typewriter. Also, the fact that you were never alone is probably why I got through this game much quicker than the other ones. Lol.
Funny how GCN uploads this Dartigan would post this swiftly after... 🤔
‘Evil laugh coaching’ - gotta ensure consistency
I'm waiting to hear about the Umbrella moon base.
I got a good laugh seeing Rebecca slashing at the doorknob with her knife lol.
I just dont know how you missed the greatest sin of all OF REBECCA BEING BITTEN BY A MONKEY IN A CUTSCENE.
18:38 this is my favorite part of every single re video
Wait a second the fact that the place isn't in use makes even less sense when we think about the train going through the training centre. I like to think the training centre & other lab where in use as well it makes the most sense with all the zombies & its just that they were being abandoned or something. The area was being cleaned out & thus they were meant to destroy all the stuff but the T-virus was released. This game makes so many plot holes its just stupid.
Gcn and Dartigan dropped on the same day to prove theyre not the same person with a voice changer.
Your secret is safe with us lads
11:11 This villain is straight out of a campy anime! XD
Yea I was surprised reading Rebecca’s backstory. In Vendetta, it shows she has been a scientist. Honestly don’t know why she wasn’t that since the beginning. Would have made more sense. But fan service I suppose.
I’ve been hoping my favorite RE game would get sinned! 😊
Was anybody else thrown off when both GCN and Dartigan uploaded the same video w/ in 10 mins of each other lol
Now we need Dartigan and GCN to sin Resident Evil 1 Remake!
I definitely want to see a Resident Evil game set in an amusement park.
I had this on GameCube and I remember thinking the graphics were a real step up from the last few releases at the time. Everything looked more natural and lived in, with fewer jagged edges than usual.
You and Gcn sinning this game pog
I'm definitely voting for Street Fighter V. Granted, its business and development history are the most sinful part of it, but the story mode's writing makes the ones in DMC2 and RE5 look good.
This story has a lot of plot holes, enough of them that it was big enough to fit a game in them 😂
This was one of the funniest dartigan videos.
14:16 I chocked after listening to that one
Ashame we never got the side story game of Enrico's fight through his scenario
you and gcn uploaded sins for this at almost the same time
The train starts because (Umbrella Chronicles spoiler) Wesker is assigned with the task of reopening the Training Facility and so he sends the Umbrella Special Forces to do it. That's why you see zombie soldiers a little bit later.
That’s crazy you and GCN just so happened to be working on RE0 sins video and release it same day. I’m actually quite happy about that tho!!! Lol
Idk, I've been attacked by a swan when I was on a jet-ski. Pretty intense.
Would rather have that happen again than play this game through.
the photo in Weskers desk was just there as an easter egg. It has no deeper meaning.
11:00-11:07 In the novelisation Birkin even comments on how they shouldn't be able to hear what he's saying.
12:49-12:54 In the novel that the torture chamber was Marcus's hobby. Even obsessed mad scientists need the odd break here and there.
Hey I truly enjoy your videos sir… please keep it up.
Guys..guys...guys...I'm like 2 months late...but did anyone else notice Dartigan and GCN uploaded this game sins on the same day?
the way dart says continuity
When Enrico called on the radio, I cracked up.
See the thing about gemstone locked doors is the zombies once said door has been used have a bond that sparks their cognitive ability to remove and hide the gems where they were originally placed
Dartigan is Chris
GCN is Wesker
spent a good 5 minutes trying to pick up a bottle that was in the middle of the floor, a little too close to the door.
17:38 old impression 😂😂😂😂
Had to pause at the "female octopus..." line. Fucking brilliant.
9:12 Birkin should be your co-host
4:25 remember a doctor is there to save your life. A medic is there to make you more comfortable while you die. -paraphrase from Red vs Blue
Could you do Dead Space? You did 2 and 3, but I don’t see any game sins for the first one. Thnx!
It's because the first Dead Space has no sins lol
