Thanks for this video. I just bought the Sky D100 V2, smaller than a Q200 but very similar menu. Watching you use your charger, & hearing your opinion of Sky products, has boosted my confidence.
I have one of the SkyRC single port charger for my first and it's pretty awesome. Doesn't have as many features as the Q200 but once I get more batteries I'd defiantly keep with the same brand. As you said the manual is really comprehensive and has pictures for all the settings and a menu tree for each option as well. Was very impressed for the money :) BTW I bought mine in Aus at the local hobby shop.
Thanks for the excellent review! Just getting into quads and am ordering one now. These seem like the perfect charger to start with micros, work up to full-size, and keep all the other bits and pieces that go with these charged up as well.
this is hands down the best value right now. for 169 I would grab it myself if not owning D200 and another one already. Like the fact they integrated connectivity and there is no dongle. That USB actually comes handy when travelling (outlet issue) or for field USB charging. Charging in a safe means no need to watch it, wireless operation is very welcome. I wish I got that damn dongle for my D200 :)
hi thanks for all your hard work one thing I'd like to ask as I'm just getting into race quads is can you do a review on some good batteries pls.thanks dave...
I already have the S60 Charger from SkyRC and i am very happy with it (except the shitty PC Software which is crashing all the time). The S60 is a trusty little charger for all my needs. But in future i will update to the Q200 because of the abillity to charge 4 batts at the same time without an balancer board or something. Cool review also! :) - a fan from germany :)
I got the "small" one , the D100. It has all the good nice functions the Q200 except the Bluetooth thingy, but you can upgrade that I think. But I am still jealous. And that is for the on/off switch. I totally understand your fascination for it. That is what adds the "want factor" in this. :D
Hi Stew, I am great Fan of your videos, I am a beginner in FPV hobby, can you suggest which charger to buy, I am on tight budget so I would be buying only once so please suggest accordingly.
as an iOS developer I love the App, what I would like to see is an alarm that can be set by the user when one cell of a pack deviates from the other cells by a user settable amount. Nice price too for a 4 port ac/dc charger.
2 Questions here: How does the Blutooth-app work when I run 2 of them at the same time, which I plan to do. And - can you make a video using a stronger PSU via the DC-port? :)
Finally, a Quattro charger that comes with 4 balance boards! I have the Quattro B6 AC and it only came with 1x balance board - didn't know that until I drove home an hour from the shop. #fail
I have one too, also came with just one board, but i don't even use it... i connect balance extensions directly to the port that is aparently made for the board ^^
Look it's just for 149.99 dollars with coupon code: SKYRCDE www.gearbest.com/multi-rotor-parts/pp_366278.html?wid=21&lkid=10705883 I hope this will help you ruclips.net/video/PVxoBjC80lo/видео.html
Have you/Could you please check, post charge cell voltage for accuracy? I have a different/cheap 4 port charger that seems to always overcharge on a couple of the ports. This looks like an excellent charger as long as it is accurate, and at such a generous price point, I get a little worried.
Stewart is it 10 amps per side and 5 amps power plug on the front so a total of 30 amps or does each pair share the amperage for a total of 15 amps I know the high-tech charger that's very similar to that charger shares the amperage on the two plugs unless you're on DC power that can supply more of the amperage just curious if you knew
I need a new charger, I'm still using my old accucell 6 but Isn't that the wrong end tx60 connection on the back for connecting a lipo? and was one of the feet missing causing that rocking every time you press a button?
Can you make a charger selection for say the advanced beginner? I use everything from 1s 20c 3.7v 650mah lipo to 4s 1500 mah lipos, obviously different rates, different plugs.. Not sure I need a charger as advanced as this one.. But I need something? Can you help a fellow flyer out.?
Quick question Stewart, I've got a Taranis and a quad with a D4R-II. For the past few weeks it's been fine but all of a sudden the Taranis won't connect to it. The receiver LEDs show that it's working as usual but I'm not getting signal or the battery voltage on the taranis. Is there something in the Taranis settings that could be wrong?
I'm sure it's bound, I've flown it before, and I've been trying but it won't enter bind mode. I can tell that the receiver recognizes the taranis because the LEDs say so and they dim and freak out when I bring the taranis antenna close the the receiver antenna, but the taranis just won't recognize it. Is there a way to reset the receiver?
5.9 It's only a 100w charger max. Not really worth the 175 dollar price tag. You'd be better off getting 2 200w chargers, or just grabbing a turnigy reaktor 4x.
200w total output max. Only 100w per channel, like it says on the front of the charger and in the documentation. Most 4s batteries we use are 1300 mah and parallel boards hold 6 of them, so if you want to charge at 1c you need 7.8 amps, or 131w. For the price this is a "meh" charger at best.
www.banggood.com/Ultra-Power-UP120AC-DUO-120W-LiPo-LiIon-LiFe-NiCd-NiMH-Lead-Acid-Battery-Balance-Charger-Discharger-p-1030066.html Cheaper 2 port version. Its 120w x2 and the SkyRC one you review is 100w max spread between the 4 ports i'm pretty sure. More then enough for most users but if you were say balance charging more then 7x4s batteries at 1c rate you'd be over your limit and have reduced speed for each subsequent battery added.
We can support your Patron www.patreon.com/uavfutures Excellent !!! I also bought it but I'm still waiting for your arrival. I would like to learn how to charge lipo in parallel, it seems dangerous to me as you do ? The downloaded Lipo does not have the same voltage and when connecting them in parallel I can cause problems, I think.
thanks so much for you support mate. Ill make sure I get a UAVFutures velcro strap posted out to you soon. I couldnt do the channel to the same quality without you guys. Regarding the charging of the lipos here is this video. ruclips.net/video/90C_LzpPBwc/видео.html
Charging lipo's freak me out too. There was one time I wasn't paying attention and plugged the 4s balance lead into the 5s port on the parallel board and the battery wires instantly caught fire. That incident now give me PTSD when parallel charging.

Placed my order. Thanks for the great review!

Are you still using this charger? Any long-term thoughts about it?

Great charger! finally got rid of my 4 cheap ass bc6 chargers, my lips are loving me. Great review thanks!

16:25 "Lipos freak me up" - before you said that you go to watch a movie and basically leave your lipos without supervision while charging :D

I wish it connected to my wireless too
yea a ESP8266 wifi module is only $3
Awsome. Only thing is, a,b,c and d are not numbers.

Hi Stu, what charging board did you use? still using this charger?
hi, if i want to feed it with a 12 volt car battery, how many maximum amperals does it have to have? thanks for the reply
Can you explain how do you hang your drones on the wall please? Thanks
Just wondering what lipo are you using for 5inch?
Recieved mine today noticed its not balancing the cells very well its out rightly what was yours like?
are you doing a balance charge. Mine has been perfect. Put the all into storage this week and they were all Exactly the same

mine charges fine, but i had a bad parra board one time which made it over charge a little once

10 amps per side and and 5 on the front. But the total is 200watts so just be mindful of that
eachine 180 tilt rotors review soon?
I need a new charger, I'm still using my old accucell 6 but Isn't that the wrong end tx60 connection on the back for connecting a lipo? and was one of the feet missing causing that rocking every time you press a button?
yeah i realised this too about that plug after your comment. good spotting

try it on a new model in the taranis and see if it makes a difference. are you sure it is bound? try rebinding it and resetting the failsafe.

What would you set a Graphene as, a high voltage or a standard one??
J.JONES FPV standard
STANDARD. do not charge hv...that is only for HVlipos
UAVfutures ok thanks
Also, did you get this here in Aus? I can only find 1 supplier of this in Aus and it says $9,999.
He has a link to banggood in the description. Probably a safe bet that's where its from.
Yeah, just saw that. URL shorteners ... my bad.
Isn't this just a bunch of 4 button chargers with a 5th button for changing channel. Seems exactly the same apart from the Bluetooth feature.
yep, so imagine buying 4 x 4 button chargers and power supplies, get it working on blue tooth and have it save the ability to store 10 memories each.
I have another skyrc model with wifi to control the charger and the software is a joke. This one looks like it is usable !
All i wanted u to do was show the system menu but u didnt even click it
I think you might need to change your phone pin after this :D
How many actual amps can it charge 4s?

I really like how you can monitor with your phone though.
