Just came across this video Steve. Looks like this will replace my old faithful, Imax B6AC V2 Lipo charger. Charging 2 lipos at the same time is a definite time saver.
This is amazing compact charger .. really i am considering getting one . Tons of fun , knowledge and yet enjoyable videos from you Steve ! I don’t know what i would do if were your neighbor , you’ll be annoyed of me sending you gifts each other day ! Thanks , mercy , shukran and appreciated always…
How do you like the B6Neo? My ToolKitRC M8S has a ton of great features for the price but its calibration is a constant nuisance and it has some weird quirks....looking to replace it but I'm not really using it for Lipos, I just have one, I'm mostly using it to balance Lithium Ion packs and Lithium Iron Phosphate packs....My M8S also can do 18A charging with my server power supply as a DC source and thats more than I can do with anything else I have. The B6Neo isn't quite as powerful but thats ok with me I'm just looking for something accurate and..not full of quirks
Thanks for your amazing review. I found this video when I was searching MC3000. Why yhey don't upgrade the MC3000 like that. I would like to use the D200 Neo like MC3000 for other types batteries with an extension board or etc. Could you advice any charger like MC3000 or Opus?
This is a hobby charger for people with basic knowledge of how to charge batteries (I.e., simple to use for people new to the world of charging batteries in the RC hobby). If you are experienced then you know you can set the end voltage per cell to get the results you desire.
It will discharge without any accessories (it does it like any other charger on the market but it is slow). if you wish to discharge super quick, then you need the add on discharger.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 lame so many other chargers (even the ToolkitRC M8S) offer an "external" discharge mode that allow you to connect any kind of load to the input and then you can set the parameters that work with your load. Internal discharging is always relatively weak but I don't want a charger the size of large pelican case just to house some giant resistors and fans. (And this is where the M8S has one of its problems, the fans are God awful terrible. Loud, hardly move any air, and the venting on the charger is equally as bad)
1s chargers are extremely basic and usually powered by USB because the batteries are small. Not many 1S batteries have an XT30. Check Amazon or Banggood.
Hi. Great video. I have a question, is it coming with charging cables and balancers? Or do I have to order them separately?Thank you and keep it going 👍
I mean if I have batteries with T plug, is there any adaptor needed? If so, what connector tipe is on charger? And do I need balance boards at all? Or can I plug balance cable from battery straight in to the charger? Sorry about the silly questions but I am new in RC. Thank you.
Some models have Bluetooth. Download the skyrc app, set your phone to discover Bluetooth devices and connect to the charger, the app lets you monitor your battery charging.
Good charger but not a good discharger even with the BD350 40A. The storage voltage should be adjustable (not fixed at 3.80 volts) and the dischage voltage should have more voltage range (above 3.40 volts). I am very impressed with the charge however ToolkitRC and iChargers have much better storage/discharge options\settings. :( Also the set current is not very accurate for charge and discharge. :(
The main body is 8"x3.5"X3.5" Including the AC power cables sticking out the front and the connectors sticking out the back its about 12". All of this can be put in the bottom of a case with a sheet that your charger is mounted to so when you open the case all you see is your charger and theres just an AC port on the side/back of the case to power the power supplies. I'm sure you're familiar with these RC charging cases.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 save the battery setup so you don't have to go through all the selection process each time, especially when charging different batteries.
@@captainsmanAhhh, ok, now I understand. That option is normally in the settings. Plenty of chargers have it so that you can keep plugging in one battery after another if the same voltage & amps and the same battery settings are shown. Unfortunately since I have a crazy number of battery chargers I have passed this charger to a member of my flying group, so I can’t check.
Another great review explained at a level of understanding. Far easier than trying to read the instructions yourself . Thanks captain 🌝
Got it for month now its an absolute blessing. And the balancing of the cells is so good!!
This is the reason I subscribed to this channel. Informative, educational and HONEST FEEDBACK 👌. THANK U
I appreciate that!

Fun video ! 😃
Man these things have come a long way!
Thanks Captain Drone ! 😃
Thanks, C.D! Best, Rob ^^
Excellent Tutorial Review Video. Thank You Steve.
Thank U, just ordered the SkyRC D200 Neo. Love your channel 🙂
Awesome! Thank you!

@@emptyqrider very good charger have it for a while now as professional racer. Really an insane charger!
@@michaelholtappels8324 that’s even more promising for me to here from a professional verified user . Thanks for the confirmation 👍🏻
Hi Steve....Nice charger. Just bought a charger you reviewed a month ago.........👍
That one is more like mine. Mine has extra stuff you can add like temp sensors and stuff.
this thing is cool! I picked up the new B6Neo instead though.

@@ericklein5097 it’s nice for the price and it can be calibrated if you have a better device to calibrate from. I have a Fluke 179 I use to calibrate.
Holy crap Captain !!! (pardon my French!!); I didn't see the function that powers 50 Teslas !!!!; jokes aside, absolutely amazing piece of tec!!!
thanks steve. a great review.
Another good review Steve.
I like it have a good weekend
Always great review
Good morning captain nice charger
Im more exited for the b6neo wich has the same essentials for 40$ and PD usb C seems very good and Tiny!

what does it mean I need own cable for parallel charging?! So why the charger has two channels then?!
This or the Gens Ace IMARS d300?
i was going to buy this but it looks to only under charge lipo -li-ion to 4.18 thats a no go for a few thing i charge at 75 to 80 percent

Is the SkyRC disharger necessary for the fast discharging or can we use our own set of power resistors to take advantage of this?

What kind of charger do you recommend for a 1s battery? Think it's an xt30 plug.... it's for the tiny hawk 3

Maybe I missed it, but can the charger display switch between individual cell voltage and internal resistance?
To be honest I can’t recall. I can’t check as I’ve loaned this out to a friend in the RC Hobby.

Cables? Balancers? You plug everything in the front so there would be no cables.

@@jontas1371 If your batteries do not have XT60 plugs then you simply go on AMAZON and order the connector that goes from your battery to XT60 female.
Can this run a SkyRC pit light thru the usb port?
It says Bluetooth what that means does it have a Bluetooth?
Some models have Bluetooth. Download the skyrc app, set your phone to discover Bluetooth devices and connect to the charger, the app lets you monitor your battery charging.
thank you very much, mine has bluetooth but I had no idea how it works and thank you for answering my question
Is it possible to charge a car battery with this device?
It would take forever to charge

Is it because of lack of AMP?

The bottleneck is always the DC transformer, I'm stuck with a HP proliant PSU until someone makes something more travel friendly.

Жалко нет режима power или лабораторный блок питания, на Toolkit RC я заряжаю makita аккумуляторы.
Would it charge an 8s battery?
Check the specs and see if it is designed for 8S.
No Save/Load option?
