    For Scott Adkins to say he is the best physical performer is probably the highest praise you could get in the industry. He truly is a beast always remember the first time I saw Ong-bak and that one shot in Tom Yum Goong. Incredible.

    • @sara.cbc92
      @sara.cbc92 25 дней назад +1

      I don't agree. Jackie Chan is No.1. Tony can't do big stunts. His fight choreo is nowhere near Jackie, Jet and Donnie's movies. That's why he will reach their level of fame. There are many Jackie Chan moves he can't do. Especially Wushu get ups- see Armor of God2, Gorgeous. His kicks are also not as good as Donnie.

    • @MichaelMcCloud29
      @MichaelMcCloud29 25 дней назад

      @@sara.cbc92This makes no sense. Granted I don’t think anyone tops Jackie for crazy stunts mainly because most guys now don’t want to risk death like he did. Also Chan could not do all of the flips that Tony does and the creativity in some of his kicks and knees are insane. Tony has done a good amount of big stunts. Scott is talking just from what he can do with his body, not necessarily how crazy can he be with jumping off of buildings or towers. Dude can literally without a warmup do a super easy backflip without any effort. Also kicks things like 9 feet in the air with great control. Crazy flexible, gymnastic like moves. He’s one of a kind

    • @sara.cbc92
      @sara.cbc92 25 дней назад

      @@MichaelMcCloud29 stop gaslighting. Jackie Chan is literally the most known action star in the world, next to Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Tony's career is nowhere near Jackie for a reason. His physicality absolutely does not come close to Chan. He does couple of flips and kicks? Jackie has done it too. The intricacy of his kicks is nothing special. Infact many of his moves were copied and stolen from Chinese martial arts. Muay Thai does not have acrobats, kip ups, butterfly kicks, 540 kicks etc.

    • @MichaelMcCloud29
      @MichaelMcCloud29 24 дня назад +1

      @@sara.cbc92 You’re too dense to understand the difference of what Scott is talking about. Everyone knows Jackie Chan is like the most famous action star, that’s not the argument. I’m pretty sure Jackie Chan himself would say that he couldn’t do all of the flips and tricks that Tony has done in the first Ong Bak alone. That’s not a shot at Jackie Chan. Taylor Swift is one of the most famous people in the world but she isn’t singing better than Tori Kelly in any world. That’s okay, difference skill sets and focuses, that’s all that’s being said

    • @sara.cbc92
      @sara.cbc92 24 дня назад

      @@MichaelMcCloud29 you are obtuse to the point of being delusional. I stated Jackie 'could' do all of Jaa's acrobatics moves and more, especially teching off ground. So can Jet Li. Why do you think they're more famous than Tony. As for the first Ong Bak, their martial art styles are different, not that you would know anything about the subject. So they won't be doing similiar kicks or moves.

    The Protector is an amazing martial arts movie. So many scenes start with Tony Jaa coming into frame with a flying knee into someone's face. It's hilarious. I found out recently the DVD version that I have is a heavily edited version. I need to find the original version. The scene with Lateef Crowder doing Capoeira in the burning building, the ending sequence with all the bone breaking, all the flying knees to the face. Definitely time for a rewatch. I think the reason I bought the DVD in the first place was because Quentin Tarantino's name was on it. No idea what his involvement was with the movie.

    Hello Scott Adkins! I just watched your new video about Tony Jaa and I liked it. Yesterday I bought myself a new sports watch, like Schwarzenegger's in the movie Commando and I also bought myself suspenders for my jeans, a baseball cap with the inscription New York, a selfie stick, a shoe bag in which I put my new blue sneakers and other goods today I will make a new video of me showing karate in my jeans with suspenders and my new sneakers. I'm not as skinny as Tony Jaa and I weigh 120 kg so it's hard for me to jump and do somersaults like Tony Jaa. I'm from a different weight category. I'm a heavyweight fighter, like Ford from the movie Undisputed 4 and like Bolo Young, Matthias Hughes and Abdel Kissi. Good luck, Scott.

      @@outtrigger I'm more of a fan of Scott as well, but that doesn't take away from the incredible stunt work and fight scenes Tony has pulled off, and it's worth recognizing him for it!

    There is a specific reason for the light bulbs. I've seen a commentary in the depths of YT once. I don't remember why exactly. But it's an inside joke or something like that. You should ask Tony, Scott! 😄 Thank You for Your channel.

    Hi Scott ! Hope you're doing just Great ! What can you tell about the fight breakdown and the great performance of Wang Ink Sik in his fight scene against the guards and his fight against Jackie Chan in the movie Young Master ? Very unforgettable 👍

      Apparently Scott doesn't like Jackie's old movies during Shaw Bros period. He feels it's too slow with Peking opera like tempo.
