I bumped into Scott few weeks ago in London. I waved at him and he took his headphones off and said hi. I told him that I saw JW4 just 2 days ago (which I had) and what a great performance he gave. I said “honestly, you were so great in it, really created a character!” He said “pretty good in a fat suit yea?” gave me a smirk, and thanked me for my kind words. Really gracious and down to earth guy. Really good of him to give me his time and be such a gent.

Killa's laugh is burned into my brain. It's so silly and campy and completely at odds with the tone of the rest of the movie that it's instantly iconic.
His performance as Killa, among all of the amazing performances in Chalter 4, was one of my favorites. I was genuinely shocked by how good he was because I only ever vaguely knew of him doing lower budget films. He killed it as Killa.
He's been in a lot of big budget films, but usually as a double or just a heavy who gets beat up. He was in Dr. Strange, Wolverine, American Assassin, and Expendables 2, just to name a few.
You know a movie is legit in terms of action when it has legends like Donnie Yen , Keanu , Scott, Hiroyuki Sanada and Marko Zaror. Best action film of the decade I dare say.
The scenes with Killa were hypnotizing. Maybe it was also because of the music, the lighting and the set. This entire part kept you on edge! Like a tense calm before the storm
It was Killa's performance mostly if you ask me. His acting when it comes to playing killa and giving him character was on point, and the laugh was like cherry on top, just brilliant acting
He was incredible in JW4. Very memorable character and even in that fat suit, his fighting was exceptional. Hope this gets Scott into more mainstream projects!!
I remember seeing him once say that if they asked him he would play Batman but they'll never ask him. I understand why - he looks like Bruce but they won't cast someone that is a stunt man that can act, they'd rather get an actor that can learn stunts.

I mean, they know what the action scenes will entail. They have the experience to make it look good and probably go smoother. They also won't need months upon months of training since they're practically training all the time. It most likely was because he's not a big enough star and they wanted some sort of higher star power.

I'd argue that Batman Begins made Bale the star he is today. I'd even argue that Batman Begins sold on the fact that it was a Batman movie with a fresh take on the character and mythology and had Nolan's name attached to it. Look at the MCU for example. It turned so many B level and unknown actors into stars. Evans, Hemsworth, Rudd, Holland, Hiddleston, Renner, Olsen, I'd even argue Johansson got even bigger because of the MCU. It could have been the vehicle to make Adkins a huge star like it did Bale.

Scott can possibly play a role like he did as Killa in JW4 for where he was a straight power house or in simpleton term use of fighting style kickboxing..

Always love to see Scott Adkins. Killa was among my favorite characters in the film. The most charismatic in my opinion. That card trick was *chef´s kiss* He made me think of Kingpin, his physical prowess.
The scene between Scott Adkins and Keanu Reeves in John Wick: Chapter 4 was very impressive and showed the dedication and skill of both actors. It had a lot of creativity and energy. I also liked how they used the music and the lighting to create a contrast between the violence and the fun atmosphere of the club. It was a memorable moment in the movie.
John Wick and The Equalizer are probably the only action movies I love watching that are close to realistic. I’m so hyped for The Equalizer 3 since John Wick chapter 4.

When I watched John Wick 4 in theaters, I loved all the scenes with Killa. The whole time though, it kept bugging me because he was so familiar but I couldn't figure out who it was. When I saw later that it was Scott Adkins I just about fell over. He did such a good job.
John Wick 4's best part was the one with Scott Adkins. That part was one of the best performances of Scott, if not the best. The character he played was so genuine, and realistic. It did not look fake at all, it was like a real over weight person was playing it.. And that "evil look, and laughing" was so cool.. He should be at least nominated for the Academy Awards for that part..

I love that since this movie when Scott feels down he will start talking to himself in the Killa voice to pick himself up.
