The second one I would agree with that, but the first and third ones not so much. Why did the M22 and M36 just charge ahead of everyone else? You have little to no chance of killing it on your own especially from long range so stay with your damn team! M22 is literally small enough to sit underneath the Maus’s turret and fire UP into the tank in the one spot where there is literally no armor, the M36 has enough pen with the APCR to kill the Maus from the sides at point blank (as demonstrated in the second match) and their greatest advantage was their overwhelming numbers. Why would you abandon your allies and charge into the maws of death for no reason? Use the heavier teammates to distract and confuse the Maus while your faster teammates flank it from the sides and rush it point blank. This is no different from how the Crusaders defeated Rommel’s Tiger divisions.
This is hard to watch, knowing the tanks with the 105mm can put APCBC right through the flat turret face out to 1000m. If the T29 was any smart he could have won each time if it stayed at distance
Well of course the T26 came out around 1945...you realize that the T26 is just the pre-production/prototype designation for all Pershing variants right? Not trying to be condescending but any member of the Pershing family of tanks fit this qualification barring the variant that would go on to be redesignated as the M46 Patton (which was simply a Pershing with improved mechanical reliability, a more powerful engine for a better power to weight ratio, a fume extractor for the main gun to replace the insufficient frontal mounted ventilator (the pronounced frontal bulge in the Pershing) that broke up the continuity of the frontal glacis, and both an improved suspension and transmission.
