I freaking love this Noah. I've done this so many times and can actually speak to it... to everyone reading, you have NO IDEA who will actually respond! I've gotten responses from billionaires in the past too!
Awesome idea, Noah. That was interesting as an idea, unfortunately only two replies. But let's be positive. at least now we know the best and most polite way of rejection. 😀 And yeah, you're right these famous people don't always have a majical answer.
Great Video Noah. Although on Instagram, I'd prefer sending the question in the first message itself. Rather than asking for permission to send it. Since then the person can decide if they wanna reply or not. I get tons of message on IG myself with people just sending "hey" or the "is it okay if I ask a quick question " format. And never am I compelled to reply. Although if they would have added the question right there in the first message then I don't need to be in that awkward space of reading their message. Putting them in seen. And then not replying later. I can make that choice before hand and let them live in my message requests section. Same with email. What do you think?
Great question! I agree that it’s much better to ask the question straight on. But I still think you can read multiple messages in the request folder without making them seen?
im the opposite, when someone starts off like that i know theyre just trying to be considerate! so i appreciate it more especialy cause i once sent messages like that when i didnt know better
8:05 just FYI - y’all missed a fairly large editing error in the video (using y’all as it seemed less finger-pointery. No one here in Australia uses that term so hope it’s right in context! 😆)
Do you think it's a little dumb to email someone to ask if you can ask them a question? Just ask the damn question in the first contact. Less juvenile messages would have likely gotten more responses.
Great video as always! ;) I think if you had just included the actual question in the e-mail, you'd probably have a higher chance of getting a reply - but idk, what do I know ;)
Very cool video. Even if no one really answered, it shows the infinite possibilities you have today. Seriously, do you have that sometimes? you have so many options that you often get caught in some kind of paralysis or FOMO or generally lose focus because you "try too much" or constantly think about what you could do. From business ideas to individual business details, such as different marketing strategies or so You have so much potential and often you stop and start something new (e.g. new marketing strategy or new business idea) and don't even know if you have already fully exploited the potential (which you probably never have) This ends up in a kind of unhappiness, because you constantly have the feeling that you are not doing enough and at the same time you are doing way too much. Or is it just right to have that? I am lucky to have a business partner who always stops me when I fall for new ideas. But still there is a feeling of urgency to try and experience so many different things and at the same time the fear to not get the full potential of a single thing. Really love your videos!
Rule #1, never write "hey" type of message and ask for a chance questioning something, you're wasting their time, write your question and be respectful.
Love the work Noah. Pro-tip, if you are a student, ask for advice/help. I've had so far a 100% success rate. Students aren't seen as competition. Current PhD student/biotech entrepreneur speaking from experience.
I have done this with some success and some failure but it is always fun to do. The key in this video for me was thinking that it might take a while to get that reply. Being consistent and persistent is needed. I need to follow up with Noah as well myself. I hope he enjoyed the4 Tacos!
So true !! Most of the answers are within you already..great vid Noah 🤜🤛 and if the person reaaaally need those answers, I bet there are local biz owners in your own area tha might have some great insights :) never underestimate local biz
"They were at your point too in the past" Yeah right Noah, I'm pretty sure all of their parents are well educated and rich. I'm a first gen college student who had to work a menial job almost every semester at Cal to get by. I don't think they can relate homie.
Love how you're still willing to put up a video where you had low success and didn't just can the experiment! Will definitely be implementing some of these in my outreach efforts! :D
Wondering if these emails are a bit too casual and short? I know they're busy, but they might be more interested in responding if there's a bit more meat and formality (if they even read the DMs/emails)
Give me a team of computer geeks to bring to life Dr. Bean's English class. AI, virtual reality, cartoon, CMS +, I have nearly 1,000 followers that would dearly test out the Beta version.
I see orbiters trend to follow up successful people, yet alone giving nothing back :) As rouge businessman I don't like this type of "communiaction" of gaining me to be friend with someone who don't care about me as a person, but see this just as an opportunity to himself. Ok, we can do business, but do not seek for some validation from me and giving up some resources just to make you noticable. I love to cooperate and make partnerships, but the best I had was with the poeple that didn't knew "my power" on the market/branch or business :) Just genuine contact and working on ideas we share.
Pro Tip: Use a .edu email to reach out to them. I reached out to Mark Cuban and asked him about a very specific question that had to do with something he said in passing on a Shark Tank episode. He did answer and had mistyped. It was one of those typos where the answer was dubious so I asked for confirmation and he did respond quickly again. I think the trick is to ask the question rather than and asking to ask a question.
Loved the video Noah! And I devour all your podcast episodes. Would it be possible to bring you on my podcast - Jamsters? Have a predominantly Indian millennial audience.
@@noahkagan Thanks for replying :D I felt like giving my honest option on this one. I get you, that's just how it is, but that was just feedback on the video, it felt a bit too boring you know? An interesting experiment nonetheless. Anyway, I hope you pursue your RUclips carrer and I'll be supporting you :), as I find your content quality to be very good and backstory to be very interesting📈

Mark Cuban is an email kinda guy...
I asked him to join a podcast to talk about crypto.
He replied within a couple of hours with 'no.'
I freaking love this Noah. I've done this so many times and can actually speak to it... to everyone reading, you have NO IDEA who will actually respond! I've gotten responses from billionaires in the past too!
Who are you?

Drop some names
Blocks out his email address. But potentially shares the emails for Tim Cook & Jeff Bezos haha What a guy...
Lol, and Noah's email address is generally well-known anyway, or at least it used to be.
@@JamesTudsbury he's super relatable man. Seems like a good dude.
i like how he's hiding his email while showing Tim Cook's..
Okay.. so who all are DMing Noah after this...!?

👇That if he would reply back.

Ha yeah I caught that. Might have done better emailing Noah and offering to help with future editing 😉
Just sayin
Hmmmm... whats your email Noah? we would love to ask to you some business questions.
Taking lessons in being concise 👍 cool video!
One day we shall meet much love from south africa
Awesome. Just like I DMED you
Noah - Can i ask you one quick question?
Mark - yes! What?
Noah - That was my question.

And you the "answers" really weren't answers at all
Onida
ive dm noah and also emailed him and he answered back to both! and got me into motion all he said was ''make it happen''
What's the brand of Noah's fantastic shirt? I don't manage to read it... It seems to be like DWBBIES, DHBBIES ???
Why are you putting celebrities and "influencers" whatever the fuck those people are, on the same levels at business owners? lol.

Interesting because mark Cuban doesn’t tweet back 👀🙄 lolololol
Barely any people can mimic this because he has that anchor of being a CEO of a successful company and his history at Facebook.

Forgot about Bernie Madoff and Ghislaine Maxwell
I think youtube is already filled with those peoples advices 😉

Love this video, just proves that with presistance you can achieve your goals!

Think you'd be surprised...
But you're making it happen for you. Congrats.

Sending this video to my team, it’s a masterclass in digital outreach! 🔥🔥

agreed.
lol just don't email Noah, or he'll call you out on his live stream 🤣
Wow clickbait video
Why ask if you can ask a question? Personally I find this very frustrating when someone waits for me to reply before actually asking their question.
Graham Stephen has lost all his hair!!!!!!!
Are you worried that they will be annoyed that you asked them a question they have answered a million times?
Dislike for the FAKE thumbnail. Didn't expect this from you Uncle Noah.
I actually thought about doing this years ago, just never went through with it because I assumed I wouldn't get an answer.
Elon musk would have replied and he is busier than all of them, ptry confident about that
Sarah Blakely is super active. She replied to one of my comments on her LinkedIn posts.
Hey Noah, I noticed you are using the autonomous chair and desk? :) How do you like your setup?

Hey Noah, did you actually have questions written down for each person you massaged? Would love to see those.
Doing this and hiding your own email; not sure if that is baller or just paradoxical.
Great video! Did cuban end up responding? If so, what did you ask him?
Please do more sales videos ! That was very cool to watch you work
