Hey man random question.. I have a PMAX with all products and many of the products do not have any sales. The main 10 clothing products are getting sales. You think I should just remove those best selling products from my pmax and put them in a new BEST sellers PMAX? With the old pmax (all products), now increase the TROAS to ensure the ROAS is hitting its target?
Hey Cam, YES to segmenting out the best sellers in a different campaign to the low performers. But… NO to moving the best sellers. Keep them where they are. Move the non sellers, not the best sellers. The best sellers should stay in the original campaign that has all the conversion history and where the bidding algo has already figured things out. Moving the best sellers to a new campaign could temporarily hurt your performance. Instead move the non sellers to a different campaign. Now, I am not 100% sure I understand your situation and would need to look at the data personally to be fully confident in saying the following, but based on what you have said here then I think I would advise: NO to increasing target ROAS for the non sellers. Instead I would actually lower the target ROAS. If they are not generating any sales at all, then it could be because the CPC bids are too low. To get the machine to raise CPC bids to see if these products can actually get some clicks and then maybe sales, you would need to lower the target ROAS. What I am imagining here is that your non sellers are getting basically zero clicks and sales. If they are actually getting lots of clicks and spending a bunch of money but for zero sales… well then yeah actually you’re probably right and the move would be to increase target ROAS for them.
Hey man seriously appreciate the long response and I will try this out Thank you! Def my fav RUclipsr for google ads you help me out a lot! @@DarylManderbigflare
@@DarylManderbigflare Thank you sm for the feedback! I was thinking about also just segmenting a separate product group for those certain products that aren't doing too hot, and raising the TROAS. Is there a difference between doing this rather than whole new PMAX campaign?

I just purchased your checklist. I was preparing one from some time but this one is comprehensive. Thanks for writing it.

Some of the SOPs on the checklist appear to be out of date?
Which one? The oldest ones would have been written less than 12 months ago.
