You can’t directly change them. But you can get the machine to change them for you. For example, if using Target ROAS, if you increase your ROAS target then the system responds by lowering CPC bids. If running maximise conversion value with no target ROAS, then decreasing daily budget will decrease CPC bids. For every bid strategy, there is a way of making the system either increase or decrease CPC bids by modifying whatever is the target you gave it.
@DarylManderbigflare Thank you for your RUclips channel! It’s the best resource to understand how Google Ads works. I have a question regarding the comment above. If my campaigns are in the "Bid strategy learning" status, what should I do during these 3-4 weeks? When I increase the budget, Google spends it too quickly. But if I reduce it, I lose conversions. What would you recommend? P.S. It would be great if you could create a video on what advertisers should do when changes to a campaign lead to the "Bid strategy learning" status, or a guide on steps to follow when launching new campaigns.

*I’ve been using Google Ads for a while, but I never explored these columns. Thanks!*
Great video. If we’re using automated bid strategies,we can’t adjust CPC bids. Am I missing something?

I had an interview with your agency last year 😊.
Can you please create a video on Google Ads Editor.
No, since you did not get the job! 😅
Do you have a video on how to test search ads to find the best one?
Will add this idea to my list!
