And in addition to us loving your outfit, I am quite sure the forest fairies appreciated it 🧚♀That book "Between" sounds like so much fun (thank you for the heads up about the weird drunkards though because I will probably have the same reaction ;) You might also like a book I recently read called "Welcome to the Fae Cafe" about 4 fae assassins who get "tricked" into becoming baristas and working with humans - there is a human woman who entraps them, but she is not nearly as interesting. It was fun watching them try to adjust to the human things we consider normal. Have a great week! 🍁🌲🍄

Im a watercolorist and painting fall leaves is my favorite. Try to upgrade to a 140 pound all cotton journal. Arches or similar. The results will be satisfying. 🍁

I recently started watching your videos and I really like that you're also mentioning audiobooks! I used to love reading, but I don't do it much anymore because I sew and knit a lot and I can't do that with a book in my hand. So I want to dive more into audiobooks, but I struggle a bit with finding the books I want to read or finding a book with a nice narrator. But so far all the audiobooks you mentioned were really nice, so I'd love to hear some more recommendations!

This video was straight-up magical! There are so many parts I enjoyed (I love seeing your routine which was so cozy, and your art--those bookmarks are adorable! And your nails are magnificent! I am such a sucker for mushrooms!!!). I also loved that you were reading Between which is one of my all-time favs (the audiobook is somehow even funnier than the book). Did you know you can read Between chronologically (so you're reading Sasha and Lorn's POVs on the day they happen)? The author has the chronological read listed on Goodreads and on their website (under the 'Buddy Read'). I've read it both ways and I think it's a cozier read if you read it as written, but it's somehow funnier (and the foreshadowing pays off faster) when you read it chronologically.

Such a valid question on a most-of-the-time drinking teacher, though 😂I'm currently rewatching The Vampire Diaries and the teacher in there is getting loaded in the bar [full of his students] every second night🥃I definitely didn't pay attention to this detail back in 2010, but cannot unsee it now😅
I remember that scene!! The teacher who is drinking in Between isn't a teacher; she was only filling in because they were short-staffed (and the other substitutes turned out to be fledging witches). And even then, she makes a point of noting that she's only drinking at the end of the day after she's finished teaching so it's not as if she's drunk while looking after kids. She's over 100 years old so I guess she feels a little above the rules, lol.
@Lixxleful not sure I remember this sub teacher😄 Who I meant was Alaric Saltzman. Of course, he is also kinda on a mission and just trying to mingle, but I bet he doesn't hate those drinks😄

🍁🍂thank you for your content. I’m excited to hear what you think of the last book you mentioned. I read “Regretably …” recently and really enjoyed it. She writes very enjoyable characters and I thought it’s a lovely, cosy read.

The author does communicate through Good Reads and she mentioned that they’re technically 2 books in one, it’s weird they didn’t warn you as you read (I haven’t read it yet, tryna avoid spoilers) but at least knowing that it’s Book 1 (without spoiling the plot) vs Book 2 (knowing the kingdom)
She also has a “read in chronological order” pages list but I’d be annoyed to flip back and forth to try and read it in order, also would be like whiplash changing mental voices (I only like 1st person lol)

"Between" sounds amazing, but I don't like when dual POV is made this way...😔 It's like some romance series, when author just can't stop and makes quite a few books with all the POVs possible, postman included 😑
