Omg! You've made a pretty DIY version of what I call "Palazzo Pants".👏 They are notorious for selling out quickly and can be rather expensive. Thank you Angelina for showing how to make this style of pants with a nice inexpensive oversized dress. WoW!👏🥰
I do not know why it has been so freaking hard for me to comprehend how the assembly of pants work. I find it so hard to imagine which seams are supposed to go where when I watch these tutorial videos, and I've been trying so hard for YEARS to find a good "skirt to pants" video that helps me get it. THIS IS THE VIDEO THAT DID IT. IT FINALLY CLICKED. OHMYGOSH. And now I feel so silly that I struggled so much to get it. THANK YOU SO MUCH
My brain couldn't make sense of it when you sewed the crotch seams, I couldn't see how that was going to become pants...and then you flattened it out the other way and BAM - pants. LOL As you can probably tell I am brand new to sewing and I've never attempted pants so this blew my mind a little bit

I'm a thick lady at 5ft 10in..... Hard to find pants long enough but I do love to wear long boho skirts with usually shorts underneath or leggings... That absolutely gorgeous outfit my favorite color is green..... 😎

Great idea! It's so hot in southern calif high desert here we retired before the drought, that I've been wearing light fabric dresses in cotton or light blends in summer.. No poly. I could do same. I wouldn't wear a crop but I'd use as trim on a tshirt. I'd even do floral pants!
Angelina, this is sooooooo exciting! I have had long dresses in my closest that are not in style, but because the material was so beautiful, I couldn't part with them. Now they will have new life! Also, I have been trying to find a lesson on how to make a Pants Pattern, using a "flexible ruler". Could ya, would ya, please, please, please, "pretty please"??? XOX!!!!!!!!!!!!
Baltic Born is a brand of bridesmaid dresses. I know that because I had to buy one to be a bridesmaid at my friend's wedding. This one was much prettier than ours! But it's even better now that you made it into pants and a top.

We both found nice floral dresses for the wedding. I still have the dress but I don't care for the top because it is like the one in the dress you altered in this video. I love these pants. I love the whole concept of this upcycle. I'm shape Like a pair small on top medium on bottom. I love for my pants to fit loose and wide and my tops to fit fit. Soooo nice.👍❤️
