    Excellent video.

Rarely do we find such a knowledgeable and competent man willing to devote the time to produce an excellent tutorial on a Samsung tablet to help the average man in the street. Thanks a bunch for making one of the best videos on Ebay.

This has got to be one of 'THE' greatest tutorials/strip downs I have come across and also used. Your pace is great, the sound is clear, the voice is calm. The instruction thorough and accurate. the video is explicit and without fault or flaw. While I have replaced the battery before, the deep dive to replace the lcd screen on one of these is a first for me. The transplant was 100% successful and the patient lives again. This would not have gone to a repair shop but would have been scrapped so another little one for the planet as well. Thank you for posting this up

Thanks! I put a microSIM instead of a SIM on my device by mistake and could extract it thanks to your instructions. Your calm and confident voice encouraged me during the procedure! I'll do a cancer donation on your behalf!

Even today where tech as evolved so much over the years I still get many of these in to repair. This is by far the best most informative instructional video to date covering the galaxy note 10.1 series and refer to this whenever i'm unsure about anything.

Check the flex is correctly inserted in both lcd and main board and the pins are undamaged.
It could mean the lcd has become faulty and would need to be replaced . My advice is to search for a replacement lcd in it's frame or replace the tablet completely. I do sell refurbished and repaired models of these on eBay but I don't normally ship abroad

OMG this video is AMAZING!! I dropped my Galaxy Note N8013 and cracked my digitizer. Samsung told me it would be $199 to fix and there was no way I could do that. Because of this video, I bought an OEM Samsung digitizer and thanks to you my Galaxy Note is like new! The close up photography and details were superb! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

    Fantastic video. 10/10.
It was the first time I ever had changed a notepad screen. Total success.
I disassembled and replaced the broken digitiser for only £8 when my 6 yr old daughter used my galaxy note 10.1 n8010, as a trampoline lol.
I was going to just remove the digitiser but thought it was safer to remove the screen first, incase I scratched or cracked it, costing more money.
This was a brilliant step by step video. I would not have attempted it if I had not had this video running as I performed the repair.
(I even used a hair dryer with direction nozzle to soften the double sided tape, as there was less chance of melting the plastic surround than using a powerful heat gun lol)
It has saved me a fortune, if I had brought it to a screen repair shop I'm sure they would have said the screen needed replacing as well etc etc

I have no words to explain how this video saved my day. I am feeling myself as a galaxy technician. Awesome awesome help!!
No body tells (may be nobody knows) how to fit the ribbon connectors on Galaxy tab. My tab's touch screen was not working. I watched many videos, read many so called expert forums but all in vain. Technician asked for $80.00 to repair. But after watching this video I dissembled my tab, insert the ribbons properly; magic happened; it's all good and working Awesome!!

Tnx ..fixed my son's broken screen following your good instructions. Removed first the small cover and the 3 screews. Then losen the back-cover, used the plastic knife as you instructed, then remove power plug by twist the plastic knife below the rightmost black cables. Turned the pad around and used the heat gun and a knife and worked around the broken glass. Use tape to reduce glass to mess around and protect fingers and your eyes! TNX a lot for good instructions!

Dude! You rock! This is the most awesome DIY video i have ever come across. And I am a big time DIY guy so i have seen many. Your description of how to disassemble / reassemble was flawless. Thanks for describing each and every part - it really helped. Your video and audio quality is top notch. Even your simple suggestion on using a platic knife instead of metallic tool was brilliantly thoughtful.
My 1 year old kid dropped my tablet. Screen colors went awry and hundreds of horizontal lines appeared. I opened the tablet as you described (upto removing the docking station, just before you broke the plastic locks - I didnt open the display section) and I think the display ribbon cable was a bit loose from the drop. I just put everything back together and voila!! Its working perfect. $0 on parts or labour. And I throughly enjoyed this. Feels great to DIY and see things work out well.
Thanks a TON for this video. Keep making more of this.

The tutorial is nothing short of excellent. I'd dropped my Galaxy Note 10.1 N8010 and had distorted colour initially. The tutorial showed in detail how to remove the back cover, which i would have struggled to do without damaging the unit. Later in the video it clearly showed how to disconect the leads and in my case it was the screen video leads that I had to check. Having removed both ends of the lead and then re-connecting, replacing the cover, my tablet is up and running good as new. I did have to uncheck inverted colour in the settings;accessories. I've saved a minimum of £60 re Insurance excess or maybe £100 in a repair shop. Thankyou LE55ONS.

Hi and thank you for this excellent tutorial. Very clear, concise and informative. 10/10 (How can anyone give this a thumbs down?). The video cable connector on my granddaughters tablet was not correctly seated causing severe video breakup. Using this tutorial as a guide, successfully disassembled to re-seat the connector and re-assemble without damage. My granddaughter (4) is now ecstatic to have her tablet working again.
    Well done.

Fantastic Quality instructions on multiple dimensions - turned my whole day and mood around from a Samsung tablet I got stuck in a boot-loop from a ROOTing I screwed up. It allowed me to disconnect the power cord to stop the boot-looping so could get a chance to re-flash the tablet's ROM with a stock Image.. Your next video should be about the correct way to remove the frontal lobe of an injured patient.

First of all, EXCELLENT, WELL DONE, BRAVO, AND THANK YOU! Great instructions+video. Second of all, see the first sentence 2x more. I used the instructions to fix my 10.1 Note with a broken digitizer. It took me about 3.5 hours but not continuous (breaks, chatting with family, watching TV, etc) I had a hard time getting the top part of the internal frame off (resting on the LCD) and the video cut that off. I also did not remove the pen cable or volume tab. Tip: get the same tools he uses.

Thanks so much for this video! I dropped my Samsung Galaxy 10.1 Tab a week ago, and the screen has been horribly scrambled. I'd read that I might try disconnecting and reconnecting the display cable, and I'd tried, but until I saw your video, I didn't realize the little lock bar had to be pulled up. I thought maybe they were "zero insertion force" cables. So it didn't work. I just tried again after seeing the first 10 minutes of your video, and the tablet works again!

Thank you very much for posting this video, it was very helpful. The video that came with the replacement battery did not mention lifting the bar holding the ribbon cables.

    Hi,
First of all, that is a fanstastic video!!! Thanks for sharing of your knowledge!!!
I also have the Note 10.1 and works without a problem. I just have a 'Micro' issue. As a stupid behaving, I put the MicroSD card into the SIM Card hole and once I tried to take it out, it dissapears inside the hole. I guess, it is just somewhere between the SIM Card reader and the EarPhone Jack. I asked the authorised service and he said around 45$ for this operation. He will replace the SIM Card reader too

This was such an interesting lesson! My brother is a electronic technician and always busy to solve my problems with gadgets. (or left last in his list :D ) I, being a non-techie person, this video lesson on how to disassemble/assemble a tablet of such compact electronics and with some patience, would solve any problems. Thank you very much. I'm saving this clip as a fave maybe if I'll pick the SG Note 10.1 would come in handy. Seasons' greetings! :D

Thanks a lot! I was able to change the screen. You do not have to follow all of the steps to change the LCD screen only (not the touch screen or digitizer). Disconnecting battery, screen cables, usb housing and removing plastic pegs with the screwdriver that keep panels together was enough.
    Everything works now!

Lovely video! I literally fixed the screen with a knife able to remove the first 3 screws.
A quick tutorial from my experience on replacing digitizers would be simply to remove the back panel, disconnect the digitizer's tape, and then gently use the knife to pry off the entire lcd screen. Then, the only real work would be seperating the digitizer from the frame and then reattatching everything after adding the new digitizer to the frame. It took all of ten minutes and a 15 dollar digitizer MIC
