You present these tutorials using easy to follow instructions. The part descriptions are superb and your camera shots are perfect and clear. I have carried out a few repairs myself with more confidence thanks to you. Please keep up the good work you do. Many thanks.
LE55ONS I am in my 30's. I've spent better part of my life working in IT and electrical field, and obviously had my fair share of hardware repairs. This is hands down, the best hardware repair tutorial I have seen to this date.
I wish I can click Like Million times. This video is awesome! I learned more because you name the parts while disassembling the unit. And it amazed me more when you showed how to try if the replacement works or not. Because it's going to be waste of time, if you have finished disassembling the unit then just find out your replacement doesn't work. So thank you!
Thank you so much for teaching me more about how my phone goes together, it might come in handy later, also your voice is perfect for this kind of video, it helps to maintain the patience of the viewer. It's also worth mentioning you are pretty damn good at fixing phones, and the video was pure quality with no mistakes or misspoken words.
I only used the first 5 minutes of your video in order to figure out how to use another working screen to get all my stuff off my broken phone. This was much easier than I imagined. Great video. Thank you so much!!
This needs to be done by someone with experience as it is not a do it yourself as a first time thing! I will say that this video is excellent and up close. Definitely is obvious that this man here is a professional. I am glad to have found this video so that I did not go through with my plan to fix the phone on my own!
This is what I call a tutorial. I would literally have to describe the whole video if I wanted to tell you what I appreciate and like about it. Thanks so much!!!!
I think I got lucky. Ordered the screen and frame as one assembly just to replace my screen. The cost difference was $20 and totally worth it. My verizon version was a little different than this one in the video. Pay attention to the USB area down at the bottom. There was a little more there with an additional antani cable under the USB ribbon. Just pay attention to how you took it apart and remember how to put it back together. Other than that, thanks for the video, helped me a ton!
Thank you so much! I was scared throughout the whole process, but I took my time and it works! Your instruction was detailed and I was able to see every part.
I love you man!!!! I bought the digitizer and lcd and glass screen, and they were all assembled without the hardware. Your video helped me transfer all the hardware into the new housng. Again thank you very much. Your the best.
thank you very much for this video, has helped me replace my screen without fear of putting it back together wrong, always easy to disassemble a phone, but when you have to wait a few days for the new screen, it isnt as easy to put it back together again, so once again. thank you
You do a very clear and detailed video. It has helped repair iphone`s and a many s3 Samsung`s.I now have a s4 to do and with this video it will be a breeze. Keep up the good work.I have subscribed to your tube.
If you compare the housings side by side you'll see the metal has different dips and raised parts. Some of it will have a form of insulation and its the raised parts that are probably shorting the mainboard. The circuit board is laid out differently between the 2 models. You will be very lucky if its not caused any permanent damage
from what have heard from other comments the warranty service is pretty good. If you keep returning it with the same problem they eventually give you another phone..
Amazing video; I really appreciate it. You turned a complicated task into something fairly straightforward. One problem: after replacing the full screen/digitizer, I don't seem to have any phone signal. I can access the Internet just fine, and the 4G signal lights up, but I"m not getting any phone bars. Is there some connection I might've screwed up? Is the second antenna responsible for this? Your video only included the wifi antenna, but I had to put a second one back on
Sorry, I wrote the cuestion after minute 12, when you removed the digitizer with the original flex attached. I just saw that in minute 17 you do exactly what I'm asking jajaja Again, thanks a lot, you're videos are very helpful!
Hi LE55ONS, I absolutely love your videos. The level of professionalism is unmatched. I bought my S4 about a week ago, and yesterday, while waiting for a case to arrive I dropped it and it made an extremely annoying dent on the corner, on the very thin shiny plastic rim surrounding the screen. Is there no way of replacing this rim alone without ripping the whole phone apart?
Fantastic very clear and precise video, my S4 back to fully functional and fitted with nice white screen instead of the dark one it used to have before broke the digitiser.
Excellent video, thanks very much for your help! I was able to change a defective display with this guide! A quick note, my i9500 came with only one big copper heatsink instead of two, both the original and the replacement, is there a problem there?
You truly area pro. Thanks for your upload! Loads of detail and great camera you've got setup makes this video a million times better than others! Keep up the awesome uploads plz!!! :)
Yes the front housing is different between the those models. If you visit etradesupply, com and compare the 2nd photo on each one you'll see the housing is quite different. I think the 9505 has the same housing as the i337
its not that bad, this time you can buy a new screen with the frame, it will save all this work and you'll have a nice new bezel. Also it comes with the home and menu key flex already installed. But make sure you buy the correct model as there is a slight difference between them..
during the 'front glass replacement' it has probably damaged the digitizer. Now you'll need to fit a complete screen assembly preferably with the frame as it will save lots of work
LE55ONS! Thank you so much for making this video. Busted my screen the other day and thanks to your expertise I was able to easily replace the front frame glass and digitizer assembly and once again have a fully working phone. Again, Thank You!!
If I want to replace the digitizer, can I buy one without the flex for the keyboard and use the original flex of the removed digitizer? In that case, is there some extra precautions that I should consider? Thanks a lot! You're videos are excellent!
Love your guide, I consider it all-inclusive and very detailed. I ordered a replacement digitizer from amazon and couldn't get the connector for the digitizer to stay firmly on the board like you did at 31:30. I think because I have the I337 and the part was for a I9500 that the seller assumed it was the same part. Could this be the case
Hello, Watch your video it´s so fantastic how you explain to repair. I´v the Galaxy s4 but my glass is broken so stupid of me but witch glass do I need to order? Thanks..
Great video thanks for the help! When replacing my display I found scribbled marker pen letters and numbers all over the inside whilst yours didn't. Any idea as to why this was there, just curious?
I noticed that the camera lens has not been replaced. I guess camera has to be replaced as they are a one piece construction. nice destruction video. LOVE watching over and over the one on the GIII. The build quality is a lot better this time around
Brilliant Video!, again, How do you know whats going on exactly? and how do you get your phones + spare parts? Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and hopefully i wont have to be replacing anything on my S 4 :p
is this the video for replacing the glass screen only for s4? I just want to replace the glass screen. My digitizer is still working (i think). How to test if digitizer is still good? Thanks so much for the detailed instruction/video.
Yes the version is important as there is a slight difference in the metal screen frame between the 9500 and 9505. I would email them and ask which one. Let me know and I'll put it in the description
then we have found the problem, you cannot use a 9500 housing with the i337 mainboard. Its quite a bit different if you look closely at your old housing you'll see the metal casting is different and one of the heatsinks for a processor is missing
Nice video worked puuuurfect for just replacing the mother board, you should change the heading to add "also swapping mother board" only had to watch about 20% of the video worked great thanks! PS was also able to swap out the bottom USB port also.since it quit working too.
I didn't realize how essential the housing is in order for the screen to function. I mean the short is instantaneous from the moment I turn on the phone on when the mainboard is inside I9500 housing. Why does the phone function normally when outside the housing and not function inside? Is there some kind of wireless circuitry involved? I appreciate your patience in helping me by the way. thank you
Hey mate, great videos! Fantastic work! I'm thinking of replacing the side-chrome bezel on my GS4. Do you use some anti-static tools, like those bracelets or mats? Would I need one to replace it? Thank you so much!
I was going to ask about the HTC One too. iFixit ranked it as basically impossible without destroying the phone but I like to think that there's a 'proper' method to dismantling it that they overlooked as it wouldn't be very cost effective for their repair centres to basically have to send a new unit out in the event of a faulty battery.
yes, the digitizer is bonded to the lcd, try and buy a new screen with the front housing and you won't need to do all this work, just swap over the parts to your new screen
Thank you for your tutorial.. a quick question. I replaced the screen but the signal is weaker now than before. Is there maybe a place where i did something to cause a signal to get weaker ..
The only thing I can think of, is that there is a short in the bridge/connector from the screen to circuit board. So it seems like the short happens when you have to bend the bridge in order to have it connected to the circuit board. Etradesupply is saying that it shorts out because the housing. This doesnt make sense. Anyway I appreciate your help.
I fucking LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!! Hands down best, detailive, close up , visual, explained Samsung Galaxy S4 repair video on entire youtube server.
Blown away by how you added and trimmed the double sided tape! You, sir, are an artist.
You present these tutorials using easy to follow instructions. The part descriptions are superb and your camera shots are perfect and clear. I have carried out a few repairs myself with more confidence thanks to you. Please keep up the good work you do. Many thanks.

Thanks :-) I hope to come back to this one day..
You are dope! Hands down best walk thru on replacing the LCD and digitizer for the S4. Detailed and very articulate with your directions. Great video.
Just did this for my S4 and it worked like a charm. The parts arrived quickly, and your directions were perfect! Thanks man!
I wish I can click Like Million times. This video is awesome! I learned more because you name the parts while disassembling the unit. And it amazed me more when you showed how to try if the replacement works or not. You work so diligently. You should be a surgeon. But then again you are already a phone surgeon lol. Thanks for making these videos!
Thanks for your video, just replaced mine by doing it step by step as you showed and it worked perfectly.

I love you man!!!! I bought the digitizer and lcd and glass screen, and they were all assembled without the hardware. Your video helped me transfer all the hardware into the new housng. Again thank you very much. Your the best.
Thank you so much you are my idol :) it´s like your channel but in german :D the people don't know how many work the channel make, but i do :)
I loved your s3 and s6 edge video.
Also your s2 video.
thank you very much for this video, has helped me replace my screen without fear of putting it back together wrong, always easy to disassemble a phone, but when you have to wait a few days for the new screen, it isnt as easy to put it back together again, so once again. thank you

I don't know why but your voice is soothing!
Thanks so much for doing this video! Used it to guide me through replacing my broken S4 screen and found it VERY helpful.
great replacement video, not just broke it like other channel did but you brought it back like it a brand new one. Perfecto! Subscribed.
from what have heard from other comments the warranty service is pretty good. If you keep returning it with the same problem they eventually give you another phone..
Great tutorial, I just replaced an LCD/Digitizer by following your instructions, keep the tutorials coming! -
The best videos about phone repairing.Just interesting how it goes with htc one which is not great for repairing.
Amazing video; I really appreciate it. You turned a complicated task into something fairly straightforward. Brother ur freaking amazing when it comes to fixing smart phone's millions of thumbs up to yah
Sorry, I wrote the cuestion after minute 12, when you removed the digitizer with the original flex attached. I just saw that in minute 17 you do exactly what I'm asking jajaja Again, thanks a lot, you're videos are very helpful!

I love your tutorials your voice is awesomely clear!
Thank you man, it helped me a lot. I just wonder whether the replaced glass is Gorilla 3 glass or not.
Excellent video, thanks very much for your help! I was able to change a defective display with this guide! A quick note, my i9500 came with only one big copper heatsink instead of two, both the original and the replacement, is there a problem there?
Awesome..I'm getting addicted to your videos.video and sound quality is great.what camera are you using while shooting??
Another great, detailed video! I have had my GS4 for 2 weeks now and love it.
Wow the sound quality is excellent. I feel you are doing all your work sitting on my ear :P
Great videos mate!
Excellent guide. i followed it and have managed to fix my old GS4. top video
You truly area pro. Thanks for your upload! Loads of detail and great camera you've got setup makes this video a million times better than others! Keep up the awesome uploads plz!!! :)
Dropped my phone off a roller coaster.. but now its fixed :) thanks a bunch, great tutorial!
These are Thinsulate winter gloves, I think most petrol stations sell them during the winter..
Yes the front housing is different between the those models. If you visit etradesupply, com and compare the 2nd photo on each one you'll see the housing is quite different. I think the 9505 has the same housing as the i337

What a precision!!! If you were a surgeon i would trust u my life...
I'm glad I watched this, I am getting the s4 tomorrow and Just in case I break the screen doing something dumb I can fix it!
I have heard of some silver paint that can be used, keep Googling and you might find it
during the 'front glass replacement' it has probably damaged the digitizer.
OMG! not what I was expecting, yet even more awesome. Must be really cumbersome to work like that though. You make it look easy.
sounds like it might have had a new glass fitted, do you see an 'oil slick' affect when you push down on the screen ?
Great video was wondering if the button is a little loose this should be a way to go about replacing it not really any shortcut
If I want to replace the digitizer, can I buy one without the flex for the keyboard and use the original flex of the removed digitizer? In that case, is there some extra precautions that I should consider? Thanks a lot! You're videos are excellent!
Hi thanks for the really helpful videos. I was wondering what kind of heat source you used, and possibly where I can get one.
Love your videos. Is it hard to change just the glass lens on S4?
Thank You! Followed this to the letter, very clear, very detailed, very easy!
This video cannot make it any more easier! excellent tutorial!!! Thank you very much good sir!!!!! did mines successfully!!
you might have dust enter between the screen and sensors or the edges might move a little when pushed down, apart from that is should be ok
Hello,
Watch your video it´s so fantastic how you explain to repair. I´v the Galaxy s4 but my glass is broken so stupid of me but witch glass do I need to order?
Thanks..
You are a good technician and keep up the good work.
As always i dont have as many hats as i want to draw - great work ! Admiring your patience with that tape :)
It does sound like the housing is causing the problem, was the screen you fitted for the 9500?
Great video thanks for the help! When replacing my display I found scribbled marker pen letters and numbers all over the inside whilst yours didn't. Any idea as to why this was there, just curious?
I noticed that the camera lens has not been replaced. I guess camera has to be replaced as they are a one piece construction. nice destruction video. LOVE watching over and over the one on the GIII. The build quality is a lot better this time around

Hi, nice video!
You didn't put double sided adhesive tape on the sides, is there any potential long term problems with this? Could dust enter there?
Watching the knife crack the glass as you separated it at around 12:50 was oddly satisfying.
Another awesome vid, cheers mate.
I very much like your operation. I thank for your video. There will be video screen replacement samsung galaxy mega 6.3?
Hi I love your video. And I wanted to ask do you fix it for people?
And if you do how much do you charge?
you deserve a million thumbs up for this
is this the video for replacing the glass screen only for s4? I just want to replace the glass screen. My digitizer is still working (i think). How to test if digitizer is still good? Thanks so much for the detailed instruction/video.
Hey Man you are amazing! Thanks of you i replace lcd in my S4 alone ! Money in my pocket! Thank you !
Thank you so much for this video. I greatly appreciate the detail and narration.
Yes the version is important as there is a slight difference in the metal screen frame between the 9500 and 9505. I would email them and ask which one. Let me know and I'll put it in the description
Superr bravoo 😍😍😍
Nice video ....
i replaced my digitizer withe help of this video, and the phone is working nice
thank you
yes, but it comes with a risk. check out faq in 'About' as its the same for replacing the frame
then we have found the problem, you cannot use a 9500 housing with the i337 mainboard. Its quite a bit different if you look closely at your old housing you'll see the metal casting is different and one of the heatsinks for a processor is missing

Awesome man. I watched it all but I'll never do this lol. Great video man.
Awesome videos.what kind of camera and microphone are you using?
yes, the digitizer is bonded to the lcd, try and buy a new screen with the front housing and you won't need to do all this work, just swap over the parts to your new screen
good question, if you search around you'll find videos using LOCA to fill the air gap
Thank you for your tutorial.. a quick question. I replaced the screen but the signal is weaker now than before. Is there maybe a place where i did something to cause a signal to get weaker ..
Hi, thanks for the reply. I apreciate it. Btw, how much would it cost me for a new S4 screen? TIA.

It's good they have improved the ease of repair for this phone.
