    Great to see a 1000oz bar.
    In vid you mention cash out of un allocated, that’s taking profits or loss in a position. A lot of people, like me didn’t cash out but converted to allocated, so PM didn’t get a over supply of silver. They actually had to make my bar and legally assign it to me.

I have purposefully gotten as few types and as uniform of coins as I can, in order to prevent any emotional attachment to them, because silver are just an investment vehicle and we must be willing to dump them when the opportunity arise (like if the gold-silver ratio became a teenager)

      @rphb5870 3 года назад

      @@mr.porsche2069 yes for these with big money. I buy a tube at time, that is my budget, If I could afford thousands of ounces every month, than getting these 1000oz bars would be a good idea.
      The problem is, we much be able to liquidate small increments of our stack at the time, so unless 1000oz can be considered a "small percentage" of our stack, it don't make sense buying them. And 1oz coins are a lot more liquid than 1000oz bars.
      Ps. Than there is also that annoying little thing with VAT. There is no VAT on officially minted government coins, but there are on bars. As an example the 1kg kookaburra coin, are over 100€ cheaper to buy than a generic 1kg silver bar, and I doubt very much that even buying 1000oz bars in bulk can overcome the value added tax that is always triggered on bars.

      @@BullionNow I mean we actively have someone tracking the depository at Perth mint and what we saw was a large stack of 1000 Oz Chinese silver come in , the mint claiming they still didn’t have stock or it was going to be significantly delayed for people cashing out in un allocated and a rejection of Chinese silver based on previous drama involving tainted gold . The Chinese product then disappear and these Perth bars appear. Doesn’t take much to work out what happened. They either one they don’t have the metal to back up what they claim to have , or people are requesting physical silver in odd denominations the mint does not hold. The fact they brought Chinese product for such a large mint and we didn’t see the small denomination silver move much tells me there is at least some truth to them running a fractional silver program. My comment referred to mints business practices not that of bullion now, from a PR prospective what better way is there to give consumer confidence that you actually have x product then sending out massive denominations to one of Australia’s largest bullion dealers

      Whatever one believes about the Perth mint and the real status of their stock, I think the main take-away from this entire discussion is simple. If you are wealthy and you are using precious metals to preserve that wealth in the event of various scenarios, all those scenarios should point out to you clearly that the only option is for you have custody of your metal. It's that simple. Do not buy into pools, synthetics, products that can be (re)hypothecated, etc. Just build yourself a storage and hold onto it, physically. That's all. If everyone just did this there's actually no story or controversy possible anywhere in the system.

    If your unallocated program is fully backed 1-to-1 as you've claimed, then why would anyone bother with allocated programs that cost so much more? There must be more advantage in the allocated program than simply be given a serial number to claim that bar is yours.
    Silver is afterall fungible, a 1000oz bar with a serial number that ends with either even or odd number is still a 1000oz silver bar. Why should people in allocated program pay so much more just to receive a serial number linked to their name?

    Can you explain why taking delivery of unallocated would reduce the price? Physical supply and demand doesn't dictate the price. Price is set at the Comex; unless you're alluding to the idea that the Perth Mint would close out its long positions to EFP at the Comex because people are taking delivery? Why would they do that if they are over supplied with stock; it seems logically incoherent.

After the Perth mint ceo called silver stackers keyboard warriors and said they have 60 tonnes of 1000oz bars seems fishy they need to offer Chinese to unallocated holders trying to transfer to physical. So are cashing out and going to more reliable sources for allocated programs or physical. You guys back your unallocated but perthmint/kitco do not. Fractional reserve silver is a scam.
      BTW there's a move by the silver community to buy as much silver as they can on may 1st a few dealers supporting the may 1st raid are putting out discount codes for their websites if you guys wanted to take part with a discount for may1st I could put a post up on
      r/wallstreetsilver about it unless you guys are already there. A few of us post about you guys there. That community is seeing exponential numbers flooding in.
