Silver Dave is such a creative and energetic guy. I wish I lived within a hundred miles of anyone so passionate about silver. This was a load of fun and the ending was very silly. Thanks so much, Yankee!
What a cool process! Silver smithing ain’t easy, that’s for sure, but these guys are a small business powerhouse! I love the innovation, and Steve’s enthusiasm is infectious. Thanks for sharing!
Wait, he didn't check beneath your cap!! Well done video. This will be the "go to" video for years to come for those who are interested in making their own mint!
The amazing part is that most of their mint is setup with budget gear that works better than ultra expensive gear. What an awesome team that works so well together!!!
This is the craziest thing I have ever seen! These guys have the patience of Job. I was captivated by the process. I will have to order some just because I appreciate their dedication to an art form. Thanks for sharing this.
Absolutely amazing. Dave's enthusiasm is outstanding. What an operation. Thanks for taking us along. Definitely going to get a few bags. All the hard work that goes into them makes me want to support the hard work these guys do.
Damn, I love these guy's enthusiasm for what they do. You can tell they absolutely love it! Also, very cool on how they MacGyver'd everything they use to produce their silver & all of it works better than any machines or tools that are commercially available. I'd also love to have one of those 50oz raw blank ingots in my stack.
Wow, what a lot of work these guys have put into this project! Amazing, I hope it pays off big for them, they deserve it. What great attitudes. Hard to believe they can sell them for what they do.
What an amazing opportunity to tour this local silver mint. Thank you Dave for your service. I am going to purchase this product not only is it a cool product but its Made in the USA by a Veteran. Thank you for sharing. I love its being made in my closest neighboring state. Mainers love NH.
This was one of THE coolest videos I've seen a really long time !!! The owner seems like a WAAAAY cool guy and the operation is well thought out for efficiency and cost savings - smart !! There were several more steps involved in the process than I would have thought - one of the reasons I loved this vid so much - really educational and fun - I am going to look to buy some of this mint's product so I can help support a little guy versus the behemoths of the industry - thanks so much for sharing this !!
TOTALLY AWSOME VIDEO. Had no idea how much goes into producing the barter bag product. I now have a greater appreciation for what i have. thanks Yankee and Little Stacks.
This was so much fun to watch , as a new stacker it's exciting to see the process and to see people happily working to play their part in restoring the people and their wealth.
That was so much fun. They all love what they do. I bought some of their product and love it. Knowing the story behind it make me want to buy more. Great transaction with SD Bullion!
@YankeeStacking, thank you so much for sharing this video. Facinating to see how LSM has set up a production facility without having all of the massively expensive equipment, and for doing such precise work on such small pieces of silver. Great accomplishment for them and they are producing a great product.
Great video, I loved watching the process of making the silver bars. Totally cool and very creative on using common sense ingenuity to build such simple yet awesome furnaces to melt the silver. Two thumbs up on the mint and video 👍🏻👍🏻
American ingenuity at it's finest !!! Love the whole process and Dave's enthusiasm, I bought 2 of the barter bags after Dave's first appearance on your show and look forward to adding a few more in the future. Thank you Yankee and keep these videos coming !!!
You know,,, when you see the Process this Guy goes through.. You begin to understand why they have to charge the Premiums that they do... I am really Impressed on this Guys ingenuity..
I love how these down to earth guys figured out the metallurgical aspects of the processes, hand built or repaired most of their stuff. This is how America was made great... from the ground up by everyday people doing amazing things with ingenuity and continuous education to make your efforts always improving or being awesome! Thanks for the TOUR! I remember learning from some Indonesians how to use a car lift to become an improvised heavy press using a couple jack stands. Cheers.
Now he just needs airtite to make little cases for those you pressed yourself. 🎉 he’s an example of the American dream/ spirit in action. Making it work with what you got.
I loved this video. I love Silver Dave and the crew (and future crew) at Local Silver Mint. Silver Dave is a nut and this world needs more people who are nuts like him: be passionate about something - anything - do your best, and have fun with it.
I LOVED this video!!!! So hard work - a LABOR OF LOVE. I love this guy and I love the quality. GOOD VIDEO AND GOOD MINT!!! Silver Dave COME FIX THE WHEEL.
Dave’s my dealer. And I got a bunch of those barter bags myself. Been going to Dave for about a year. And I wish I’d found him much sooner. His premiums are reasonable, his selection is great, and he’s “there to serve you”!
I like how he cheaply made his passion work out for him without tons of overhead for a warehouse ect. 🎉 may god bless his efforts. Steve looks like a sober version of bam margera 😂
This was so fascinating to watch these guys really did a amazing job setting this all up Yankee you really need to control yourself lol thank you for bringing us along with you it was so cool👍
Love it bud. There is nothing better than a molten crucible of silver. I love how this setup is built and exicuted. Just like my little setup. A $25.00 setup vrs a $5 00.00 to $700.00 investment into an electric setup and hundreds of pours instead of a 50 for the graphite crucibles. Kind of a no brainer eh. I am going to give these fellas a call on acquiring 9999 shot. I love to help the little guys like myself eh. I love the energy that these fellas are showing I would bet they are always 20 to 30 minutes BEFORE they are at work. The sign of most happy to be there fellas eh. There will be no small orders from this old pourer. 50 to 100 ounces is my normal purchase. This is something I can do from my wheelchair eh. Although you and I may be a not so good as employees but the big pay we can get can be paid in silver. WOOPIE. Take care bud. It is always a nice day when you post a new one eh. I have to ask if they ship to Canada eh.
OMG THE VERY Most excellent tour of the awesome LSM Foundry, Dave is my kind of innovator. I've worked on all types of equipment related to what he's using even custom manufacturing of Kilns and Annealing ovens and I tell you what that contraption of a Smelting Furnace is a Class Act for sure, as we say in my line of work "KISS" Keep It Simple Stupid! lol DAVE IS A WINNER. What a Great Team. It was so funny how Dave was showing us all his Love for Molten Silver 😂and how it's done even on a budget. I picked up 10 bags at SD Bullion to support his endeavors. p.s. I'll be back, for more +1% over weight Bars. 🤑😂 Much Love to all you stackers out there in the world for getting me started on my journey of Stacking. #NOTRIGGEDWHEEL I won a Trade Coin a couple weeks ago, so it's not rigged lol, Thanks again Yankee. * you almost got out of there with all those bars. lol
I love the Silver Foundry Tour!! ❤️ Dave was enthusiastic, creative and fun to watch! 🤩 Thank you. Really a great show! And I love your shows with Tim, too. 😊❤
This video got me excited for silver and how it's made. I've been stacking for a while and sometimes I need to see the enthusiasm behind the curtain to give me another level of appreciation for silver. This video did it for sure. You gentlemen have the best job in the USA. I respect the work you put into your job and I've now found a new online store I'll be visiting more often the SD BULLION. I also have just found the perfect gift for my sons Christmas present. I'm teaching him about responsibility and respecting investments. The barter bags are a fine example of how he can start learning both. Hats off to ya'all at The Local Silver Mint. Merry Christmas too.
Amazing and Super cool to see how the process is done and That looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for letting us in to see and now I know how my bag of silver was made!!
