- Melting Silver - Pouring Silver Bars at Home - Stamping Silver
In this video, I'll be melting some .999 fine silver shot into some more of my RFT Channel Bars, using my electronic furnace.
I am still an amateur when it comes to pouring and stamping as I only get a little practice every other week BUT I love trying my best and it's always a lot of fun.
Hopefully, you all enjoy this pour video and don't give me too hard of a time. :)

Great news rob I was able to get finances together and I was able to renew my membership to your channel!
I am happy to hear that things worked out my friend. Thank you for renewing although I would understand otherwise as well brother! See you tonight!
Pretty cool man. Good to see some pours
Thanks brother!
Always fun watching you pour
Thank you my friend!
Watching This is Very Relaxing
Great video. Nice job on the final items.
Nice job. That toner is great 👍.
99 k, well done mate !
Rob, this really looks fun!! Thanks for the video! The bars look awesome!! I hope someday to be able to do this kind of stuff!!
I love liquefied metals
Mmmmmmmm Silver.
I love to watch hot silver being poured. Boomskey you are on your way to 100k. Congrats Rob
Those bars came out really nice!!! Thanks for sharing, love that 7 oz chunker !!
Thank you, I have a nice guy coming from New York to melt down almost 4lbs and I'm used to smaller melts. Your info about preheating the tongs and molds was great I knew to do the molds for a better pour but not because they could fracture like river rock. I'm using propane and a homemade forge using firebrick from my Coal stove restoration days so I'm getting there. Great work and great Information!!
That is awesome and thank you for watching!
Neato! I have an RFT bar and would love to have a few more
Awesome Job pouring your silver shots rob to let the silver shin good job.
What nice silver!
These are some really awesome pours Rob, the toning on the egg is really nice.
cooooool been waiting for this
Looks great Rob! Keep the videos coming!
Nice silver pours
Awesome video! You taught me a lot. I’m new to silver pours. Just did my first.
Love a good pour!
Love the handmade pours! Gorgeous!
Dang it, you corrected the sledgehammer. I was chuckling with a 3oz sledge
Awesome Vid!
Thanks brother!
I really like how the bars came out. Thanks for sharing.
This is so cool rob keep it up!
Rob, I think these are now my favorite videos, you all already have in my opinion the best coin livestream, but I really admire you finding the time to do these pours and taking time to educate us along the way. Not sure I am brave enough or artistic enough to take this on, but I sure like it. Thanks for the video
Thank you my friend. I wore your shirt while pouring so it was good luck!
@@RobFindsTreasure Awesome, I didnt even notice
This so cool thanks for showing this Rob
This was so satisfying, and I always want to see you do good Rob. The bars look great.
Wow more awesome video!! :D
Nice work. I'd like to get one of those furnaces and try that sometime.
Awesome work Rob. I really enjoyed it. It was really time for a new pouring video. Great job. And BIN on the colored one.
Thanks Rob really enjoyed watching the process of pouring silver bars. Looks like a lot of fun. 👍
Excellent job Rob, you are becoming a master craftsman on those bars brother 👍
Very cool video, thanks for sharing!
nicely done rob love these melting videos.
It's been awhile since you did a melting and pouring video. As always it's fun to watch and can't wait for the next video. 😃
Open mold you're always looking at an uneven pour. Try closed sand mold some day, you'll be surprised of the difference. Closed port molds take more time and work, because file and sand to get them smooth. You had me rolling on the floor with your 3 oz hammer.
LOL - yeah, I had been thinking ounces and slipped!
Wow very cool pours 😊
Thank you!
Been a while since you've had a pour video. Well worth the wait.
Very Very cool, Thank you!
Nice Rob👍🏻
Hi Rob! Always wanted to see the process, this is my fav video to date for sure! You did a great job, I hope to one day try my hand at this when I get a bigger workshop!
Love love love ❤❤❤
You're getting me excited to begin pouring my own bars!
I think I'm going to start with copper to get some practice in before I do the silver and gold.
I also already have 20lbs of copper shot.
Silver shot is that like welds and pour spatter
Quality!
As proud owner of a couple pours what you make are great. Wish I could get into it.
I'll be looking forward to getting some awesome silver (really like the toned look) from you once I get back to the States, until then I'll just continue watching. 🙏🙏🙏👍
Your getting good at that brother, i have the 2021 RFT round you sent me, absolutely beautiful
Awesome video! It has been awhile since I have seen one of your pour videos! 😃
And also what is silver shot
.999 Fine Silver melted/poured into water to creat little pieces of silver so you can manage the melt/weight better when making stuff from silver.
Watching 👀
cool!
The 3rd 3oz one looks like a tomahawk steak in the ripples
It does!
They spelled shot wrong lol
yeah look nice
Damn that egg is cool 😍
Thanks brother!
Twice in a row baby
BOOM! 💥
Beat me by 1/10th of a second. Your fast on the draw like quick draw Mcgraw
Excellent video. How many millimeters are your stamps? I'll be stamping one ounce bars and rounds, and I'm not sure what size stamp to use.
Hi rob how is your day going
Thanks for sharing your pouring time with us. Hey, that RFT egg is GORGEOUS!! Are you going to be selling it?
Looks like your gloves have seen better days but cool video and wow that one was heavy chuncker
Almost looks toned, how long until you take them out of molds, how long do you leave the pours soak, what makes something. 9999 fine instead of. 999 fine, how did you make the egg tone and why preheat the tongs? Great video brother and sorry about all the questions.
Where did you get your logo stamp? I'm looking to get one but need help designing one. Any help would be much appreciated.
Necro response but should just weigh your shot and get much closer to an exact bar.
Would putting a microfiber barrier (1 layer) down when doing the numbered bars protect the front of them when stamping? Love the silver pouring vids!
True (I do use a piece of heavy cardboard), and I need to use a fire resistant cloth where I dump them out of the molds after pouring.
ROB WHY DID YOU NOT SHOW HOW YOU TONED THE EGG?!
I got sidetracked! I will try to include it next episode!
Very cool video. If you were melting Constitutional silver, do you know the process to separate the silver from the copper?
I know the process, but I won't do it for safety reasons. I'll leave that to the pros!
I have no interest in trying it. I decided I was going to learn how to cast lead bullets. First time I went to watch there was a live primer in the pot. When it exploded it hit him in the neck and we had to go to the ER. That ended my desire to mold anything.
Rob, where can I buy stamps that say ".999FS" and "OZT?" Also, what size stamp would you recommend for stamping 1 ounce rounds? Thanks in advance.
GREAT video. What causes the "ripples" on the top of the bars? Thanks
The torch or a tap
@@RobFindsTreasure Thank you
Looks Like You Need New Pare Of Safety Cloves You Have A Hole In One Of Them !!!
I do. I run through them every few months.
Question: where is the best place to get silver shot?
You can buy it from one of the main online dealers like APMEX, SD Bullion and JM Bullion last I checked
Thanks for showing us how to pour and stamp. Just curious what the initial cost is for the equipment and the 100 oz silver shot? It seems that you are making all of the channel members happy by offering these for sale--great memento of the channel and your creativity. Getting to be kind of a status symbol now--to own one of Rob's home pours. Wowza--you go brother--(thinking maybe you can buy a Harley with your profits and do your dew-rag proud--Just sayin'!) Take Charlani on a wild ride to Sturgis next year. Eh? "that's some good goodies right there!" Love you, brother.
Can anyone tell me if a 2Ton Arbor Press will exert enough pressure to imprint into a .999 fine silver bar?
It will, as long as the silver has been heated and then cooled on ice (tempered).
Has anyone ever polished the inside of those molds?
I want to do this. How much was the electric furnace?
I think $349 all included - furnace, crucible, tongs.
Same as a 🐼
Electric Furnace link doesnt work
No baby Yoda mold?
I have one, will use some more on the next set of pours for that!
Do you sell your pores if so how much per ounce
Better late than 🚫
hi...
why do you want the ripple
Because it adds character to the bar.
@@RobFindsTreasure thanks i love your videos
