Next time get your bars from China they are much easier to cut
I like good creative silver fun. 👍
Can I suggest maybe having that 1000oz bar melted down to make your very own BULLION NOW 1oz silver bars/rounds..... THAT WOULD BE TRULY EPIC AND ID BE DOING ALL I CAN TO GET MY HANDS ON AT LEAST ONE OR TWO OF THEM
You should have taken it to a machine shop and had it laser cut, and then it would look awesome, this was a bad hack job but good entertainment none the less.
Cut one up like a loaf of bread
Still not as tough to cut into as my mum's meatloaf...
Comment of the year.
@@BullionNow LOL, my comment was *too* good. Should have made it slightly less funnier in order to win the comment of the week prize. 😅 But seriously, I'm glad to make people smile for a moment this week. The world needs more smiles.
This has to be one of the most Australian things ever.
Thanks :) - I think??
As a carpenter I love seeing this not working out as easy as you would hope. Clients have a plan for the job but no idea of difficulty. Good work boys :)
Thanks mate!
They could have at least used a blade made for steel, like a torch blade.
Never seen someone cut a $34,000 bar in half before. Very entertaining and it did prove that is 99.99% pure silver. You should get thousands of likes for this video, thanks.
Wait so it's not ?.999 missed that
To prove it is 99.99 silver normal people use ultrasound device, stupid people cut it in half and prove purity only on the cut surface. So dumb.
@@_Mikekkk you can't use electronics to see through a really thick silver bar, that only works for thin bars.. the only way to prove it's real is to melt it, drill it, or chop it up
@@Firedrop2 You can use ultrasound to see trough very thick bars. Even get a detailed picture what is inside. And knowing speed of sound inside pure silver you can measure the thickness, and if there is difference you know if it is real silver or not. No need to drill, melt, etc.
@@_Mikekkk you can still cut it
Dude I was SO ready for the chainsaw action!!!
It may have cut better
Hahaha, me too!! 😄
@@dontask8979 It won't cut it
Love it! Now we are touching the metal
best way to cut that bar is to have BigStackD melt it for you...He's down under....
I was waiting to start seeing brass shavings from a perth 2021 bar lol
Lol, there’s been a few gold plated tungsten bars passed off as gold!
How many ozt in shavings did you loose? What does each half weigh now? Future video?
I bet at least 1-3 oz's.
especially considering the blades thickness. Usually people use an ultra fine band saw, which gives off much finer filings.
You can melt down the shavings into a small bar. So, nothing would be lost. He said in another comment that it was almost 10 oz (300g).
Dude is like "we are getting through it?". While he's doing all the work.
I did notice that!!!
Lol you guys are crazy. Thanks for the great videos and I received my 1kg Perth mint bar from you guys all the way in Canada and it’s beautiful.
We are crazy, this is true. Glad to hear your kg bar made it's way across the Pacific safely!
Brilliant what a fun video thanks did you got all the silver bits up
Thought you was going to cut it while it’s in the box, that would be one hell of an unboxing 😂
😂
That reminds me of jewellery school and uni sharing a bar with a class mate. Very nostalgic for me
Brilliant effort Michael.
Thanks
As someone that used to cut THICK amounts of various metals at a production company before the military, I knew this was a grab a beer from the fridge moment :D
awesome guys! a lot of patience!
Thanks
Haha almost gave me a heart attack with the chain saw, glad you used the right tool for the job!!
I'm very new to all this and I'm now 100% satisfied that I should buy all of my metal from you blokes.
Well done!
You are a man of your word Michael, well done...
Thanks
Silver lovers: HO THE HORROR, THE HOR-ROR.😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Enjoyed it.
I wish there were more videos like this.
You guys are absolutely perfectly nutzz! Just goes to show you do what you say! Love it! 👍🇺🇸🇦🇺
Thanks 👍
That is so freaking cool. I’ve ALWAYS wanted one.
It's an epic silver cutting
Certainly is!
'HI! I would like a saw blade that cuts a silver log in half'
Guy from Bunnings: 🤔😐🤪
Actually - that's pretty much how the conversation went
That was groovy!
Great, fun video!! 👍🏻 Keep up the awesome content.
Good job guys!! Wow
Thanks
OMG you guys nuts!
Sometimes it's good to do a bit of quality control for the big mint production! Sweep up all those shavings to keep with the bar haha.
Yes indeed!
Love the content lads
Thanks
I would have loved to seen the chainsaw go through but I also wonder how many ounces just in the dust thats coming off of that would add up to
What is the XRF?
Do have a recommendation
Hold on there big buddy bar :)
You don't get to see that every day. Fun. Good work, mates
Epic! Love it! haha
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like this because it shows at the end of the day metal is metal and even if its cut in half its still 500oz of silver. Good job guys!
Thank you for that. Great fun.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Where can i buy that xrf?
First thing I said out loud was... hope he brought along lots of bladed... OMG go Mike
Waiting for the scratch and dent sale 😆
You crazy guys...myth busters, eat your heart out!
Epic job 👍.
Thanks 👍
Bello silver casting
Maybe you could loan your saw to someone you know who got a China 1000 oz bar? That's where I'd half expect to see the saw slow down on a rod of Swedish steel or a stack of welding rods. The Chinese went through the fake Gold Bullion debacle last year. Did you get a bar marked CHINA? I have seen posts that some have received China bars from Perth Mint.
We're currently negotiating on a Chinese bar now.
@@BullionNow I'm glad you are, AND Thank you for telling me! I hope it is a recent import.
No lead filling inside 🤣
Nope!
Need a metal cutting drop saw
Now I am impressed , I never thought I would see that, how much for the filings ?
The filings are on display at the moment. About 300g worth all up
You read my mind. Thank you so much. Gosh yall are the best. Howdy from Texas!
Our pleasure!
Wow, that was cool! 😎 👍🏽
Thanks! 👍
Noooow we're talking!!! Boys that was awesome!!!
Thanks
I would just like the saw dust lol
"For my next rich person trick, Me shi tting in a bucket of caviar".
Literally any exotic car vlog
That's a first on RUclips. Cheers
Great fun video guys 👍🏼 and great to see that Michael still has his left foot attached after placing the chainsaw on the ground and it started moving towards him at 1:03 😆
NO IDEA what you're taking about... 😬😬😬
6:12. When you have made it that far. It's to late to just back out.
Absolutely AWSUME guys, maybe an angle grinder with a 9 inch blade, cutting all the way around would have been quicker. And finish the last bit in the middle with a the reciprocal saw.
That would have been far more intelligent!
BULLION NOW Theatrical Productions Presents TA TA DA (JOE singing) Saturday entertainment.😂🤣.
Best sawdust that I’ve ever seen!! The Alabamie Kid
:) :)
The PR department at Perth will be less that pleased when you return that masterpiece.
It's ours. We bought it. We own it. We can do whatever we want with it.
@@BullionNow of course it is 🤪
@@BullionNow can you ship it to me ??

@@BullionNow I think you guys are great, and run a fun channel, but you decided to delve into politics. So compelled to bend the knee, and kiss the ring. Any savy businessman knows better than to discuss politics or religion. Shame you chose to go down that path.
SATISFYING!!!!
I did not fall for the chain saw for a second, just did not make any scene, but of course I've worked with chain saw & reciprocating saw a lot, in my 60 years of life on earth. Now are you going to melt it down a do some pouring of smaller bars? And I know you know you could just drill it out, test, melt it then pour it back in the hole. Something like that anyways. Thanks for the video.
We answer that question in this latest video! ruclips.net/video/-vn6AeCNgCE/видео.html
Dam expensive glitter ...
Certainly was
Nice lol
Perhaps you could break open a valcombi silver bar next! No saw involved. I would not be able to do this!
Great idea
Hahaha Awesome!
Glad you liked it!
Nice
If I had the spare cash I'd buy it just to show my appreciation for the effort :) Not sure I approve of the overall workshop safety protocols though ;)
Fair enough!
I'd say that was rather a clever video. It is, when all is said and done, just a lump of metal (well ok two lumps now) The weight of silver lost on the cut is probably worth about a hundred dollars max. That's quite a lot of advertising for the money. Funny though that as I watched my eye moved to the single one ounce Britannia sat in its capsule on my desk all tucked up and protected!
Thanks
Cool man what are u guys going to do with those bars melt them make coins or smaller bars?
We're displaying the bar(s) in the shop for now. Probably they'll either be sold or more likely melted down into something else.
Wow that's incredible, you must have a few ounces on the floor that fell out as well.
We had a drop sheet down so I don't think much was wasted
Can I have the filings?😂
Swing by the store. Some are on display there
As a tradie my friend you make an excellent Bullion dealer.
How can you butcher a silver bullion bar like that?
Michael I have a metal cutting band saw at home and I've often thought of making a jig to accurately slice up thousand ounce bars so that the sawn edges can be polished to be exactly 100 ounces each.
Then you just melt the waste into a couple of small bars without wasting any.
Not a bad way to avoid the small bar Premium
Great idea
Wow i totally fell for it. I thought there was no way ur gonna do this with a chainsaw, but figured you knew something i didnt lool
nice job , the down under Ag boys!
I’m shocked that that worked haha
Me too a little
Woow! Beauty of a bar! All for Science! 🥽🥼🙌
excuse me while i go comb the back alleys in melbourne for some gold and silver lol
:)
I can't believe you cut the bar in half (I know it is only a chunk of metal), but it was entertaining.
We're glad you found it so
I use reciprocating saws everyday at work, if you use the foot on the saw to brace against the item your cutting it goes much faster and less vibration, also a thick metal blade.
totally m8 support the item ...as u sed use the foot an use maybe a LENOX Gold bimetal demolition blade an let the tool do its job dont force it that was painfull to watch lol
@@mickscott6046 Very 😂, but yeah Micheals professional in many other areas that We are not so can’t be too hard on him lol.
@@melbournestacker m8 totally like whos cutting silver ingots in half lol he has cash its a pitty he went 2 bunnings for tools n advice an was sold that thats all bro
@@mickscott6046 hahaha 👍
Sound ! Would like to make an offer on one of those 500oz 😂
Probably would cost about $15,000 U.S..
How much did weight ended up in filings ? Great video. And Michael wore gloves , nice.
It was about 300 grams i.e nearly 10oz.
@@BullionNow wow
Yeah no problems but I’m sure said now you wear gloves, no sore loser here !
Oh jeez they did it, I didn’t think they would hehe
We really are that crazy!
Need a band saw.
Noted.
I've used alot of sawsalls, mostly to fix mess ups on the construction site. That is an all purpose blade, good for separating 2x4s nailed together. They make a smaller toothed blade that is better for metal.
he asked an bunnings for advice...lol...id use a LENOX GOLD bimetal demolition ....blade next time u feel the need to part something
My kinda crazy.
Noo 😢😢😢
Ownership is one thing ! But are you that board. Wow ! God Bless
whay you do this ?
Because we can.
That's 👌
Thanks!
cool
Wowwww
Didn't know bill clinton is into hacking metal in half
Working on breaking down a thousand ounce bar myself. Buying silver shot next time.
LOL
Now you have two 498 ounce bars and 2 oz of shot
Try 10oz!
I wonder how much weight it the silver dust from the cut. Also maybe and angle grinder could have worked to. I use it to cut all types of metal.
