Question' the handsets that are supplied can you link them to other makes of receiver ie the lossi to a axial etc so you can just use your favourite one rather than having a draw full of them. Thanks. And god watch over you both at the birth of your little one my prayers are with you

Ahhh, think standing at the midpoint of the track would give you better visual awareness of where your cars are for your turnaround as well as better radio range!!
I don't care if it's a car or truck, older vehicles just look better! I do prefer the black one though. Maybe later on take them back out to the same spot and see if they cut out at the same area - to see if it was an issue or just a fluke.
@BhutJolokias thank you for clearing that up. It was just a guess. Something is interfering with the signal. What doesn't make sense is that they fly there sometimes too with no problems. What's the chances both vehicles have loose connections? I guess it's possible since they're mass produced... Anyway, thank you for clearing up the ILS question. Rock On!!
@@BigMountainCustomRC Yep, it does seem weird. The different ILS systems operate between 75 and 335 MHz, so nowhere near the 2.4 GHz we usually use in RC.

Like the Traxxas " Drag Slash " better. It's lot faster and looks similar, it's a 67 chevy c 10 pick up. And has a lot more technology in it. You get much more for your money with it.

I had the vaterra v100 which is the same losi took it over but I had a castle sidewinder 3 and 5700kv motor and that thing was absolutely nuts

I'm guessing that MAYBE the ILS for the runway is interfering with your signal.. I'm NOT positive on that....just a guess...🤷🏽
Since I work with the FAA, I'd have to say any runway with an operational ILS would not have RC cars running on it.
