Welcome to the toughest bike race in Ontario!

- I returned to this race from 2023 with unfinished business this year - having had a mechanical last year, I wanted to finish. Well this year did not go according to plan. This event might just be the hardest single day race in Ontario. The 130km includes 1700m of climbing. And not just smooth road climbing, or gravel road climbing; this race brings you face to face with washed-out forest trail climbing, sandy climbs, some heart-stopping descents, and a fair share of deer flies! Combine that with a humid reading of 37C and this was a really really tough event.
That said, it is also a great event. Well run, growing each year, and with three distances there is something for everyone to ride. Despite my fortunes in 2024, I recommend this event as one to check off your list of rides.
Check out the Reggie Ramble for 2025 (you might want to read the Farmers Almanac for the long range forecast before picking your distance! LOL )

That's a nice tent ,stupid deer flies, I have to agree this is a hard , but fun race.
@@stevebarratt6912 I spoke with Jeff Wills after the race. He rode Unbound and believes Reggie Ramble is harder! He’s not wrong!
Thanks for the video, always wanted to try this event and heard is war VERY difficult, I am now 74 so think I will pass..Txs fj.
@@jfmmccoll9189 it’s a tough one for sure. I wouldn’t see myself doing more than 65km for an event. While it’s hard, the fact you’re on the clock makes it harder!
Looks like a fun ride 👌
@@SwimBikeRunStu well worth registering.
I installed the glass railing at Warkworth Winery!!
@@ronrehel1176 wow. Cool. I coulda used a lot of wine. Might’ve helped.
