I got Endler hybrids and they all died :,( im gonna try guppy’s since I hear they’re hardy since I want a colorful Livebearer and endlers are beautiful but hard to find we’re I am 😅 also I have shrimp so that doesn’t leave me with many options
Never realized how dominant and badass small Mollies can be. They are lively swimmers and constantly hungry, and mine even punk down angelfish and barbs.
Great selection. Maybe someday I will try some sword tails? Almost everything else I have either had or now have. Always had a soft spot for the live bearers and finely got to a point in my life where I want to start trying some breading projects with endlers, guppies, sunset variatus platies and cherry shrimp. We will see how much trouble I can get into.
@@marychastain8041 Fairly certain I'm done with live bearers for a while. My Endlers are jumpers as well if you leave the lid open. Just don't have a source for getting rid of fish and I don't want to get involved with shipping fish.
Thanks Cody Plant! Yes a lot of livebearers can be considered beginner fish. However, there are a lot of neat and interesting species of livebearer if you look hard enough
@@FishTankBarn if I’m being honest I wasn’t expecting it to be 💀💀 but I’m going to start a Molly breeding project and I already started my platy breeding project my first one gave birth.
Great video, Mike! Your footage is spot on as well!
Thanks Mridul! I appreciate the feedbck on the footage as well.
@@FishTankBarn No problem!
Livebearers, defenitly my favorite...
Like there's comfort foods,

What’s ur thought?
Guppies would be ok. If there is a local fish club in your area try finding them there instead of the fish store.
Oh ok i think i found some female cobra endlers but i will definitely see if i have a fish club near me 😊

Thanks Dwayne. Swordtails are a lot of fun. Good luck in your future breeding projects.
Make sure the tank has a cover. They're bad jumpers.

I have 4 large ponds now.
Thank you Chris!
Very informative and great b-roll, only change I would make is some quiet background music but that's just me!
Thanks @becausebeth! I go back and forth on music. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
This is a great video though, and makes me want to get into keeping them again.
Thanks Cody! I have found livebearers to be a lot of fun.
I think most live bearers are great for beginners.

Great video. These are all beautiful, hardy fish which come in many varieties of color and finnage. My favorite is the red tiger platy.
Thanks Chevy! I really enjoy livebearers! I keep having new favorites, red tiger platys are cool!

Sorry they didn't make the list. Definitely one that you can keep if you are a beginner.

Thanks Suzy! I really love endlers!
can you even get away with saying top 5 when there are only 5 kinds lol, good video though love livebearers
If you look a little deeper there a way more than 5. Yes 5 common types but there are ton of other types
