Additionally, many livebearers are colorful and active, adding vibrancy and movement to the aquarium, enhancing the beginner's enjoyment and engagement with the hobby.
I just found out like 3 hours ago that my platys has baby’s, sadly there was only 3 left but, I barely had any plants in my 20 gallon guppy/platy tank, good thing I didn’t get a betta today because my 5 gallon tank was fully established after a 2 month cycling process, so I put the fry in the 5 gallon betta tank
Livebearer aquarium fish are great for beginners because they're generally hardy, easy to care for, and often breed readily in captivity, providing a fascinating learning experience for new hobbyists. Additionally, their vibrant colors and active behavior can enhance the aesthetic appeal of any aquarium setup.
One of my top picks for a beginner is a 20 gallon tank, preferably a 20 long, with five male platies Very colorful, active, and low maintenance!^^ (and something I plan on setting up myself, and that I’m sure my little brother will love) You could also do a few male guppies in a well-planted 10 gallon tank, or set up a breeding colony (two males with four females) in a 20 long I would personally advise against mollies and swordtails for a beginner simply because of their larger size requiring a bigger tank (30+ gallons) than most beginners might be comfortable with
This guppy fish has another name, namely Poecilia reticulata and has an identical orange color and measures 2 inches. It is found in the South American and Caribbean regions with temperatures of 64 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
Most fancy guppies are derived from Poecilia reticulata. But Poecilia reticulata is not the only wild guppy species there is. The others are Poecilia obscura, Poecilia kempkesi, Poecilia wingei (yes, this is also a genuine guppy species) and all Micropoecilia species. They're all guppies but differ in DNA. Throughout the years, also the other wild guppy species have been bred with Poecilia reticulata to create more diversity in fancy guppies.
The two basic rules are to be careful to change the alkalinity of the water in which the fish lives, to ensure its survival, and to be careful not to catch it so as not to harm it unintentionally.
Mollies is my favorite. I have some in my tank, including black, white, gold, silver, and orange. They have a distinctive appearance with a rounded body and a fan-shaped tail (sailfin mollies have particularly large dorsal fins). Some varieties have striking patterns or color combinations.
Really good information about fish. I am very obsessed with fish, but I do not know anything about the types, but through this video I understood many things, and I made the decision. I will buy fish, and all thanks go to you. Thank you very much, my friend.
Guppies are my favorite, the males are very beautiful, I love to see them when they eat. I like them because they require little care, but I have learned much more about their diet in your video, I am going to try these tips to improve the life quality of my guppies 🤩
They can tolerate a wide range of water conditions and are generally peaceful, making them ideal for novice hobbyists to start with. Plus, their lively behavior and colorful appearance add vibrancy to any aquarium setup, making them a popular choice among beginners.
This is amazing video. I like this video. This video is Very helpful video. This video deeply explain Livebearer Aquarium Fish". 2nd number fish is my favorite. Thanks for sharing this video.
My compliments for your video. But actually, if you're talking about livebearers, you should divide them in two groups. One is the ovoviviparous livebearers and the viviparous livebearers. And within these two groups, there are also nonsuperfetative and superfetative species. The ones you have described in this video are ovoviviparous livebearers. Which are actually pseudo livebearers. The real livebearers are viviparous such as halfbeaks and goodeids for instance. And in real livebearers (viviparous), males don't have a gonopodium but an andropodium unlike males of ovoviviparous species. I also wouldn't talk about fancy guppies and feeder guppies but fancy guppies and wild guppies. For "feeders" is just a term for all kinds of fish that are used as feeder fish. Pure endlers (Poecilia wingei) are actually also guppies but differ in DNA from other wild guppies such as Poecilia reticulata, Poecilia kempkesi, Poecilia obscura and all Micropoecilia species. Most fancy guppies are derived from Poecilia reticulata. But throughout the years, also other wild guppy species (as mentioned before) have been used to create more diversity in fancy guppies. There's so much more to add to the information of livebearers. But if I would do that, this will become a very long story. But feel free to ask.

So what I'm getting out of what to avoid for tank mates it's cichlids cichlids, and especially cichlids everything else is fine though 😂
