Right on Man. Took me 3 sessions but I made it to the end. This game has been #1 on my list since I first got it in 97 and my mom called me in sick for school cause I was up all night playing day 1 of acquiring. The dedication/passion you put into this if I didn’t know better I’d think you’ve been a fan since 97 as well. Either way. This game is an all timer
Thank you so much that means a lot
Great video and Cloud cosplay ❤
Love the video i played this game at 8 yrs old. Loved it since then. I actually like the remakes it really brings the game back to life! Im not gonna lie i love Areith shes my wife if i could! I agree Cloud is not meant to be with Areith and him and Tifa is the best relationship. I just want to understand why you skipped the search for tifa section at wall drug that is a big building block for Cloud, Arieth, and Tifa! This game is truly a masterpiece. Good video!
I skipped that part because I felt like I was spending too much time on the intro and I didn't think covering that in detail was necessary in regard to the overall point of the video
Done with the video now, and I have to say, this was really well done! You put into words thoughts about the characters I've never said out loud before, and made me think about details I either didn't really notice or think about too much.
Thank you! It was a blast to write for that reason
So funny thing about the Midgar Zolom, the giant snake you have to bypass with a chocobo? The first time I played this game many years after the it came out, I accidentally dismounted my chocobo after getting it, and I somehow missed who I was supposed to talk to to get a new one.
So I ended up leveling up against the nearby mobs until Tifa - who I equipped with the materia for learning monster spells - could survive the Beta spell it casts and learn it. After the Zolom kills her, since it had already ejected one or more of my party members from the fight instead of killing them, I didn't get a Game Over and retreated from the swamp to heal up. After that, I fought the Zolom again and was able to just barely win against it.
The game after that was a lot easier than it should have been for a while, but it was satisfying to have beaten that thing - but it didn't diminish the impact of finding the dead one killed by Sephiroth. If anything, it hit even harder because I had to spend so much time grinding and coming up with a plan to kill it with my whole party. 😅 But the enemies did eventually catch up in power to my overleveled party, so it didn't mess with the whole game's balance.
Damn! I did wonder if that was even a possibility I kind of assumed it was. That’s crazy though. Scene still works regardless which shows how good it is!
Watched the whole video it was epic man.
Thanks dude!
Great job
pretty good video.
Imma give this a good watch later. I've always found 7's story to be very blan. Always wanted why most find it to be good. Hoping this will give me good insight on that and help me care to follow the new remake story.
Appreciate it. Lmk. Do you have a preferred FF game? I’d love to get more into this series
@VaughnColeman 9 is my favorite. 9,10, and 13 are my favorite stories. I've always struggled enjoying 7. Gameplay and story wise. It has a lot of interesting things but i never can get into it.
@@anthonyboehmer6313 I hear a ton of love for 9 and 10 but never 13 that’s interesting
@VaughnColeman I absolutely love the story, characters, and mythos of the 13 series. It definitely takes a second go through to understand the terminology and the world. It's so good though. I can see why the gameplay of the first game can turn people off. 13-2 is close to perfect to me.
@@anthonyboehmer6313 gotcha! Wow idk if I ever met any other 13 fans but that’s cool
I wanna enjoy this video but you drowned out your own voice with background music and I straight up can't hear you
