It’s crazy that a character like Rouge the Bat can either work well with Knuckles season 2 or Shadow spinoff show and movie. Either one is a great opportunity to introduce her. It stinks that they might not be able to do both, because I love the dynamic with Knuckles and her, but Team Dark is pretty important too. It’s probably most likely for Shadow spinoff show or movie, but it’s hard to say. Team Chaotix could show up instead of her for the Knuckles show, but I still think she’d be a great character for Knuckles to face off against. Also, Scarlet Johannsen and Idris Elba I think would be a great dynamic acting wise

I feel like this video is abit pessimistic I don't think every western writers in general are going felt the need to write female characters like you said girl boss there are plenty of good writers who write female characters well specially in modern time. And second i think it's too soon to judge right now i mean here's the thing so far the crew behind the movies have stay faithful to the source material and adapted them very well..and they also listen to Criticism and feed back from the fans and jeff fowler knows what he's doing so let's just give them a benefit of a doubt and they might get her right aswell..

I think it would be SO hype if Rouge just shows up in Sonic 4 out of nowhere. She wasn't in the mid-credits scene, and if they don't tease her in the movie trailers, imagine how much people would lose their shit if she suddenly appears in some climactic moment in the movie lol. The more likely scenario is that she'll show up in Shadow's series though, which will probably get released before Sonic 4. That way, Amy can still be the main focus in the movie, but Rouge can still be a vital character who already had a good introduction in the series.

I 100% agree! I just hope for the movie that they will keep Amy's girly self. Nowadays for some reason being more feminine is seen as weakness in movies. I mean, Amy is strong but in her own unique way!

Rouge was a main character who interacted with the other characters in Sonic X since the first episode which adapted the games storylines with Shadow only making his debut in the 33rd episode. She can show up in Knuckles, possibly with established backstory with Knuckles as the person who tricked him “again, and again, and again, and again”.

I willbe not suprised if Rouge appeared on our planet in 90s .and working for Gun for some time. Now Rockwell will give her order to manipilulate shadow .they try to use force.and this not worked.

I knew there was something missing in sonic 3 and it wasn't the same without her.

Ideally the Shadow spin-off would be a mix of Team Dark's story in Heroes and Shadow 05, where Rouge can be introduced. As much as I love her relationship with Knuckles, Shadow is more likely considering his popularity.

Men save women all the time in media, just like women save men. Characters save other characters, that's how stories work. But the idea of the damsel in distress is that her only purpose in the plot is to look pretty and be saved by the hero, and frankly, that's just really boring. Interesting characters can be strong AND sometimes need saving. Take Arcane from example, one of Netflix's biggest shows, many strong women characters, but there's a very emotional scene where the male character Ekko comes to save Jinx in her weakest moment. Jinx isn't a 'Damsel in Distress' since there is so much more to her character, but she still needed to be saved in that moment. We don't want "Damsels in Distress" because it's not interesting to just have a woman be there to be saved because women are weak fragile creatures who need strong men to protect them. What far more compelling is seeing two people, no matter the gender, save each other because of their personalities and relationship

Another idea is that sceens paramount has sceen the success of the knuckles show they could turn season 2 of knuckles to a knuckles movie that way that have a bigger budget for both the chaotix and rouge

Rouge is one of my favorite characters and I really hope she comes in the Shadow movie because I really wanna see team dark and it feels like it would make a bigger boom if her introduction is in a movie. Not to mention I feel like she'd have more to do in a Shadow movie then anything else

I really hope we get a Shadow spin off movie or show that focuses on Shadow uncovering his origin as an alien perhaps by teaming up Agent Stone and potentially going up against GUN and possibly tease the arrival of Black Doom and the Black Arms. This would make the perfect opportunity to introduce Rouge and OMEGA as they establish themselves as Team Dark and potentially have them show up in Sonic 4 or possibly in a Sonic 5? Id just love to see her flirtatious dynamic with Knuckles adapted. Btw Elizabeth Gillies would be my top pick to play Rouge the Bat.

She SHOULD have shown up during the knuckles show, but apparently a Paramount completely missed the opportunity. It would have made the show a million times better

She's gotta be attached to GUN. To be fair she can have a strong secondary role. Now will she be in Knuckle season 2, the Shadow film or Sonic 4? Concidering the background with team Dark I'd say it would be smart to introduce her in the Shadow project. PS: I was looking at videos about Team Dark along the games to imagine a sutable way to introduce her and your video just poped up XD

I am amused how strongly divisive the mustache is. Imo, it makes Orlok look like a man of nobility, which he was. Vlad Tepes had a similar mustache, as did most males of the time, and Orlok is a rip-off of Dracula (obviously). I greatly enjoyed how the blood and chunks of flesh clung to the mustache after he feeds on people. And, the fur-lined collar of his coat gave him a vulture silhouette. Why change the design? Eggers changed several things from the original, and put his own stamp on this version rather than exactly copying what others did prior. I have a hunch the mustache critique will lessen in time over repeat viewings for those it bothered.

Nah because Sonic x Amy is literally my favorite Amy!...she was the first i was introduced to as a kid and i love her. Honestly the most funny, sassy and entertaining amy of them all. Shes an icon, a legend and she is the moment ✨

I didn't know about the historicity of the mustache. It bothered me too but now that makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out.
