Silly rule for likable stuff! I'm tempted to dislike the video just because I hate silly rules. But it's too good, so you got a 👍from me anyway. And here's a 🤘from me, too. And a 🖖 as well! 😉
Summer 1987. In exchange for mowing the lawn my Dad bought me The Last Ninja for the C64. What a perfect first track this is for a game that will forever be steeped in magic.
Same same. TLN is a huge part of my life. The first game I bought on C64. So glad the games are back and soon to be released. That's why I came here, for some nostalgia. 2025 will be year of the Ninja!
I'm 50 next year. I was luckily enough to attend a C64 orchestral performance a few years ago. Ben Daglish had not long passed. Hearing a rendition of The Wastelands Loader almost brought a tear to my eye.
it's when you take the music out of the constraints of a C64 SID chip and do this, that you truly realize what a brilliant musician Ben Daglish was. Respect to Fastloaders for keeping so accurate to the source.
I love The Last Ninja but I wouldn't know if it was the best C64 game... too many contenders, I personally played the heck out of Bruce Lee more... but TLJ's soundtrack certainly was the best C64 music! And this rendition is awesome :)
One thing that always impresses me about c64 audio and Fastloaders is the mixing, engineering, and sound quality of these live performances. So clear and balanced. Really quite remarkable.
My first true love in computer gaming. I'll never forget it. LN1 is magic and awesomeness. That 1st track is pure beauty ... Holy shit guys! Have you become better and better?! I'm sitting here in tears. The Wastelands just blew me away.. Thank you
High quality authentic production. Ben would be proud I’m sure. Last Ninja music tracks are emotional and nostalgic. I hope the new generation can accept them into their hearts also.
The most "goosebumpy" version of "The Wastelands Loader" I've ever heard! I'm feeling joy. Mira is even better on the flute than Ben, may he rest in peace. ❤
Same here! I couldn't believe it! I've heard this song maybe a thousand times but this time it really hit me with a tsunami of childhood memories, so strong that I was in tears. Suddenly it was 1987/1988 again. The girl playing the flute wasn't probably even born back then but she did a stunning job.
I thought the passion had gone when Ben sadly passed away. You guys are still doing him proud. He was unmatched on the Chinese flute though.Although youre lovely lady does him proud GREAT STUFF,So good on that Guitar, god knows how you do it.Rest In Peace Ben my man. YOU BEAUTIFUL STAR
Palacae Gardens is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot !! I will never forget how I used to play the game. It was the most difficult game of all time, but with the most beautiful music in the world. I've never been captivated by a game with music like this. Sometimes I just played it to hear the music. Very very nice, thank you!
The wilderness game tune is my favorite, it has an energizing effect one. While jogging I play the original song whenever I need an extra boost of energy.
This event was great and is one of my fondest memories in life! I had the pleasure of talking to the Fastloaders frontman Jarle H. Olsen, as well as legendary C64 and Amiga composers Chris Hüelsbeck, Barry Leitch, and Jeroen Tel, which were all friendly and nice people. Thank you again for doing this, and I hope you guys will consider doing more gigs like this in the future!
Thanks for this awesome performace!!! I hade a great time seeing it live at the venue!!!! The performance by Mira Thiruchelvam on Flute and Nora Yuyue Zheng on the Guzheng makes the whole show so muck better! Thank you, thank you!!!!❤️❤️😅
Brilliant, loved the game and to re introduce it again makes me appreciate how awesome it was, how awesome it was to grow up in the 80s & early 90s. Best decades to be young. Everything was best back then
So many emotions, hearing these perfectly crafted renditions, for those whom these melodies got engraved in their hearts, decades ago. I can remember loading Last Ninja for the first time , like it is yesterday. Yet, I cannot remember what I actually did yesterday.
What a wonderful version! Fantastic! I love Hubbard, Galway, Tel, and the others, but no one can give me as much feelings and goosebumps as Ben Daglish! I am really happy people keeps on playing his music!
This is AMAZING. I always admired The Last Ninja soundtrack, best of any C64 games I played by far. But I would never, ever expect a band to play it live in 2020s. Thank you for doing this!
The origin composer would be glad to listen, what you really made with his masterpieces, i'm sure! You guys Rock! Thank you ladies, and men for this exciting joy i have. I just feel like the little boy, sitting, playing and whibbling the joystick to overwealth all foes in this very "over the top game". Plus this stunning fckn awesome soundtrack within. You made me feel this way Thank you a lot. I am some year about 40. And with your great audience, i see many man scenes of "the last ninja" before my inner eye. 💘❤️🔥❤️🩹 To listen, heal some sounds, i took my long way during now, and then. Thank you. Best regards. May God bless you all. Bye
@@c64audio oh, and well... I didn't came around to get your 3CD Digipak. So i just bought one, to make it clear. How long are it available, who knows? So in my mind it is a must have, and possibly only limited charge The 3CD Set is a good gift to a good boy, and he will be excited.
Loved this game so much. Didn't finish it though unfortunately. Me and my brother didn't get past the stairs (didn't know what to do). Great performance! Ow..."The Dungeons" level music was so creepy! I remember it well when I was like 10-11 years old.
Absolutelu beautiful, epic, moving, nostalgic and eternal. Thanks to all of you, FastLoaders, the authors, the fans of yesterday and today, the c64audio communities, only love and good vibes for you. Really great to watch and listen to, we wouldn't have this if it wasn't for the original tracks and the composers that coded the tracks that made the SID chip sing. 👍👍
If you watch if, you have to "Like" it. That's the rules.
I doubt there's any person in this world, who does not like this.

There was a bit of a missed opportunity with Sekiro. In fact the only bad thing about Sekiro is that it wasn't the Last Ninja or Tenchu.
