David Warner Tribute: the Obsessive Goes to the Movies (Ep 59)

Character actor David Warner did Titanic, Star Trek, TRON, and dozens of other films. Started out as Hamlet and Henry VI. And frankly is one of the best actors to grace the screen, despite being relatively under appreciated. I seriously loved this guy.

Thank you! I really feel, though he had a long and successful career, that Warner flies under the radar with so many film fans, except for Time After Time. I fell in love with his work in that Christmas Carol, and love him in everything.

My favorite actor. While I loved Time After Time, I also loved his non villain roles like in Christmas Carol. A movie that doesn't get mentioned much is SOS Titanic where he played Lawrence Beesley. A beautiful performance, any woman would have fallen in love with him. His role as Love joy in James Cameron s Titanic was technically a bad guy(even though he was doing what his boss told him), I found him much sexier than the 2 pretty boys(DiCaprio and Zane). A unique talent, probably won't see another like him
