Claro que es una de las mejores de la historia aunque no la hayan colocado. Gracias a goldeneye la saga revivió y se creó unos de los mejores videos juegos de la historia 👌
Easily one of the sleekest, coolest Bond films made. Probably the best Postmodern Bond since OHMSS, from the thematic core to the performances to the score from Serra: this was a Bond film that showed you could use the classic elements and also deconstruct them. I only wish the other three Brosnan films had built upon this foundation rather that turning into a risible Greatest Hits Package. Both Campbell's Bond Films -- this and Casino Royale -- manage to work as postmodern portraits that re-frame the character for the decade's zeitgeist. An underrated action film director.
Pierce Brosnan is my favorite Bond. I thought he fit the character well: suave, smooth-talking, charming, cocky, witty yet cavalier and deadly but with underlying gentleness behind his emotional armor. Unfortunately, they didn't write good plots for his movies. Daniel Craig's Bond films had greater emotional range and impact in their story lines.
I've always thought that Brosnan was the most balanced Bond and arguably has the highest potential ceiling but we only saw that with Goldeneye, he got some really bad scripts with World is Not Enough and Die Another Day. Tomorrow Never Dies is a decent Bond film but it didn't push the envelop. I felt that Brosnan really nailed that aspect of being charming and suave on the exterior but he hid a deadly, cold edge beneath.
" Daniel Craig's Bond films had greater emotional range and impact in their story lines." Didn't know everyone looking deadbeat, stone-faced and depressed all the time and blabbering on about how old, outdated and decrepit spies are counts as "gReAteR eMoTiOnaL rAnGE". Or impact ??? Yeah, Bond constantly goes rogue on a daily basis in the Craig movies, it becomes a boring happenstance. Unless killing him off in the cheapest and laziest way count. How can you even like this trash ?
Haha my daughter must never watch Goldeneye, we tell everyone that we called her Xenia because it means something like hospitality in old greek but the truth is, it is because of this movie, Xenia is my favourite bond villain :) and I am a big bond fan.

I love it!! Quintessential James Bond! 👌🏽Style, magnetism and as smooth as silk, sharp wit and delivered like a double-edge sword.
I adore Shaun Connery and I know some/a lot will disagree but for me charm/class/action/looks Brosnan just oozes it, for me my favourite bond.... absolute legend.
Same man, same
*Sean Connery
Point taken..! Then again no one quite rises to the challenge like Brosnan does. Which made his action packed 90's Bond era a unique experience overall. 🍷
Who is Shaun Connery?
What a charming lady. Ages ago, when I was living in Venezuela, an old friend of mine from Germany wanted to visit me, we haven't seen each other in 11 years. When she arrived to Venezuela, she was this 28 years old lady, equally charming. She made everybody fall for her just like that, she was a Bond girl ty of girl by the way.
He was an amazing bond
That spatula looking thing for the cards is pretty cool
True. I bet it even has a name :)
@@MVahag it's called a "Palette". Which I had to look up, so thanks for helping me to learn something new today 😃
Love that little pause bond makes just to clarify Xenia’s last name. “....Onatop?” XD
You got a fine taste in waifus sir

When you realize Ivana Humpalot would actually be a legit name for a bond girl.
Brosnan is still and will always be my favorite bond
The Casino scene is also one of my favorite scene in GoldenEye Famke look so beautiful in this scene especially with her black dress, red lips, and her hair
Goldeneye is definitely one of my favorite Bond films and Pierce's best by far.
Famke Janssen was born to play this character. 10/10
Pierce may not have been given the best Bond movies (though Goldeneye was excellent) but he was EASILY the most handsome Bond in the franchise's history. He looks and feels exactly how the character should be (suave, smooth, handsome, charismatic, charming, seductive)
Claro que es una de las mejores de la historia aunque no la hayan colocado. Gracias a goldeneye la saga revivió y se creó unos de los mejores videos juegos de la historia 👌
BOND: How do you take it?
Onatopp: Straight up with a twist.
Конатоп ☝️
Хотя ХЗ 🤔🤨🤔🤔
Still the best James Bond for me ever and forever,,and my fav actor too...
Greeting from Borneo,island Sarawak..
The tongue in cheek humor in these is just fantastic...
Pierce I think did the best at that of all the Bonds. Sean set the standard for sure, but the Brosnan era to me was just fun.
Couldn’t agree more. Such a good actor. GoldenEye will always be miles ahead of the rest for me
I've always thought that Brosnan was the most balanced Bond and arguably has the highest potential ceiling but we only saw that with Goldeneye, he got some really bad scripts with World is Not Enough and Die Another Day. Tomorrow Never Dies is a decent Bond film but it didn't push the envelop.
I felt that Brosnan really nailed that aspect of being charming and suave on the exterior but he hid a deadly, cold edge beneath.
" Daniel Craig's Bond films had greater emotional range and impact in their story lines."
Didn't know everyone looking deadbeat, stone-faced and depressed all the time and blabbering on about how old, outdated and decrepit spies are counts as "gReAteR eMoTiOnaL rAnGE". Or impact ??? Yeah, Bond constantly goes rogue on a daily basis in the Craig movies, it becomes a boring happenstance. Unless killing him off in the cheapest and laziest way count.
How can you even like this trash ?
@@yrooxrksvi7142 This. Craig doesn't have 'range', he just mopes a lot.
@@MrStath1986 He's not even a bad actor, but he just wasn't Bond nor was he given the right scripts.
Haha my daughter must never watch Goldeneye, we tell everyone that we called her Xenia because it means something like hospitality in old greek but the truth is, it is because of this movie, Xenia is my favourite bond villain :) and I am a big bond fan.
Bond fan my entire life also, and when my son was born 23 years ago we called him Jason, we just said it was because it was a lovely name but in reality it was because Sean Connery's only child's name is Jason...BUT he doesn't know that 🤫🤫🤫
Tell her you named her after Xenia Warrior Princess
True. I'm greek, in ancient greek this term, means hospitality. Zeus also is known as Zeus Xenios, protector of xenia. It's also a female name of course ;)
XD your terrible
Books With Benjamin Unfortunately that’s Xena warrior princess,,,,..almost the same
I remember going to the movies with my brother in Las Vegas. On came the the ad for the new James Bond movie Goldeneye. I almost wept a tear ; it had been years since the last one. It was the movie i wish was playing instead of whatever we had come to see
How wonderful and beautiful was Famke Janssen!
2:21 the look on his face after “straight up with a twist” 😅
Pierce brosnan might be the most perfect looking human being
This James bond is my all time favorite golden eye
On the top
😅
All levity aside, Onatopp played by Famke is mesmerizingly beautiful ❤️
she is actually the best woman villain i seen, in the scenes when she smiles while shooting people
Xenia Zaragevna Onatopp
Miss Moneypenny: I'll trust you'll stay ONATOPP OF THINGS!!!!! " #CLASSISLINENOSTAGIA
😂🤣 good one!
I like that even Moneypenny makes a good joke about Onatopp.
This was the first Bond film after a gap of six years. The scene was a clear "nod" to Doctor No.
Two assassins circling each other before the kill. "And what rank do you hold with the Motor Vehicles Department?". "Commander."
Does that department have such ranks?

Pierce to me can play the best bond. He didn’t have great scripts but his look and coolnest is there. Sure Daniel isn’t bad either more ruthless as how Connery was.
Brosnan is the best Bond, just behind Connery.
Unfortunately, Brosnan hasn’t a movie to show how much he could be great in Bond, except Goldeneye of course.
Such a waste….
