If you pause at just the right moment at 1:52, you can see some of Bond's other answers to the questions on the form. Some of them are pretty standard, e.g. he's rarely anxious or scared, but the one that interested me the most is that he only scored himself a 2 on the question asking if he ever feels regretful. I initially thought it'd be higher since we saw Bond regret a fair bit surrounding the death of Vesper Lynn back in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, but then I realized it was a nice little touch to show how he's grown and moved on as a character since then.

Every answer that he gives is ambiguous, to any question where the answer is not factual. If Bond went middle or high on regret we'd be talking about a killer with a conscience, something that doesn't pass basic training and certainly does not have a license to kill because emotion is the death of duty. Just a film tho, Im pretty sure Daniel Craig has regrets about steroids lol.

I gotta say Daniel Craig has (arguably) become my favorite Bond actor (next to Connery). The story arc of the films he has been in has been tremendous. It got dark, gritty, and less tech-heavy. Gone were the "fun" films of the 80's with Roger Moore and Timothy Dalton. Craig has been fantastic in a role that had become cliche - full of punchlines and reliant on gadgets from "Q" and special effects. The continuity from film-to-film has made it more interesting overall. Though I wasn't a big fan of the opening sequence of this movie, I place "Skyfall" at a close number two on my list behind "Thunderball" as my favorite Bond films of all-time (understanding that choice flies in the face of the stark differences of film style I just commented on, but I still stand by my point.

I know some people say they liked Vesper Lynd the best, but I really loved Dr. Madeline Swann as a love interest for Bond. Her character was so interesting in an understated, mysterious way. Plus her stubbornness and unwillingness to do things his way.

It might not necessarily be the best Bond movie but it blows my mind when people say that Spectre is worse than Die another day, quantum of solace or diamonds are forever.. It is among the weaker films but it by far is not the weakest

It only gets so much hate because it's the lastest entry that was a bit more on the weak side. In time rose-tinted nostalgia shades will work their effect, much like it did for less recent entries in the series. The takeaway is to simply enjoy the things you enjoy, not bother with hate, and not have anyone else tell you what to think.

Nah, only Diamonds Are Forever is worst than this. At least QOS and DAD is entertaining. All the action scenes in this movie except the train fight are lame.

Barthotuber it is a matter of personal preference and it is subjective. For instance, I like all of the James Bond movies with Daniel Craig and a few with Sean Connery but did not like any of the others while other people prefer the other James Bond movies. In the end, it does not matter who likes one James Bond movie over the other as long as you like it.

Agree on Die Another Day and Diamonds Are Forever, but I prefer Quantum over Spectre. It definitely had its issues but at least I was never bored watching it, and even though Dominic Greene was a dull villain he still made sense. I just find what they did with Blofeld in this film far too dumb to look past.

This dialogue is why Craig is the best Bond...the closest to the one in the novels. He talks about the death of her father with a chilling non-chalance of one discussing a trivial common issue like the weather

Daniel Craig showed Bond as a real person with a lot of flaws - not like the "perfect" squeaky clean womaniser Bond that Connery, Brosnan and Dalton portrayed.
