I love these kinds of videos, thank you for doing it!!! I'm new to bow hunting and wanted to get some lighted nocks and this video helped me big time! I ended up going with the ones where you have to turn the nocks on and off with the tool, but that's just my preference because I like the switch being on the inside of the nock.
I bought some of the ones that came in the little bag and could not figure out why my broadheads were flying weird, even mechanicals. I switched out the knocks and it fixed my issue
Awesome video well done !! I was actually just thinking about picking up some of the deepower nocks. Not sure if it is something you can do but would love to see a video on crossbow lighted nocks. Either way awesome video!
Easton tracers…. I miss those so bad. They were magnet activated. You put a magnet on your raiser where the arrow passes by and it activates the nock. No pulling in and out. You hold the magnet to it to turn it on and off for putting away for long term. Just activate them before the hunt and there ya go. Don’t have to worry about bumping them and being a Christmas tree in the woods for all to see. I wish they still made them. I have some from 2010 and the batteries still work.
DeePower nocks have done an excellent job. Helped me find my arrows on night pig hunts many many times. Yes, I’ve had a couple of them fail but so what? Nothing is 100% good forever. People that whine and cry over stuff like this failing are ridiculous.
Hey I am giving these a shot and I noticed they made my arrows fly a little funny still hit where I’m aiming perfectly just not perfect arrow flight did you have to Nock tune them any differently?
@tylergarrison9031 did notice this on some arrows as well. Fixed most of them by putting the switch on top when arrow is nocked. If that doesn't cure it try the switch at the bottom and see if that helped.
@@TeamRadical ahh got ya ok cool I appreciate the response I have all the buttons facing down right now. I was testing them when it was a little windy too so that could maybe of been a reason why as well but I was only shooting twenty yards so shouldn’t of been too big a deal really. They added twenty grains to my arrow weight too so I’m not surprised the added weight to the back messing with the flight.
First of all, as Hunting with Bow and Arrow's still illegal in Germany, I am only shooting 3D and Target. I have started using lighted nocks 12 years ago for a night shoot at our Archery Club, and my choice was Firenock and I imported them from the US back then. They are still my favourite nocks when it comes to consistency and also being sustainable as of being able to exchange the battery. I do not like the new version where I have to insert a kind of a backstop for the battery into my shaft and have switched to the chinese ones with a switch that needs not tool. But still, when it comes to firing up the nock, I have found no better one then Firenock.
Certainly not disagreeing that their a great nock. There's a lot going on with them though as you mentioned above. With lighted nocks being available for a good while now we hoped knock off nocks would potentially catch up. As seen in the video several were still below the threshold for us but one was very impressive and with the easy on off switch on the outside was just an added bonus. Guten Tag Herr.
@TeamRadical I have the video on my channel it's from 2 years ago, titled, 2 shots on a big buck. My second shot was a 40 yd shot broadside. Let the release fly, everything felt great other than the sound it makes coming off my string. You can see the arrow flying right at him, then all of a sudden drops down at like 20yds. Like a sinker ball. I find the arrow and the pieces and find out the nock head separated from the metal casing coming out, the battery I guess it is. Anyhow they split in half. At the end of the video I'll show you how they split. The old saying really applies here, you get what you pay for. Since then I only shoot lumenock.
@@deerhuntingdadstv9278 watched the video that's crazy but which nock is that specifically? Because it doesn't look like the ones in this video. Looks totally different. Hope that doesn't happen again for ya.
@TeamRadical they were that Neaup brand, they do look different then yours, you are right. Hopefully I had the prototype model and you have the "kinks worked out" model lol. I seen your video and as soon as I seen that brand I was like hold up, let me comment on this, just hate to see another guy go through what I went through.
Really great video. Thank you!
Absolutely. We've always wondered and now we know!

I used the deep power nocks all season and shot my buck with them, they held up and were amazing!
Use the dee power nocks for my crossbow bolts. Love them, not one failure.
I bought the Keaup and they shot good within 20 yards or less. 30 yards I noticed some fishtailing BUT they still hit on target

I shoot deep power knocks and have been quite happy. I don't like getting ripped off with over priced accessories

I've probably saved $100 finding "lost" arrows with KEAUP knocks.
Good video well informative looking for lited nocks gona check them out.
I came to the same conclusion...Amazon nocks are 1/2 the price and just as good.
Don't push too hard on the string or they WILL come on!!!!
cool vid good info
Will never buy Deepower nocks again. Went in to year 2. 2 nocks did not light up. 2 switches would not work and 1 was very dim.
I bought them. They suck. They turn on all the time when you knock the arrow. By all the time I mean 50/50
They suck. They failed me on what would have been my PB
Can you give specifics on what happened or how it was the nocks fault? Genuinely curious.
