Love your content, Chris, but this was not a good test at all. There was no control, as you never shot a good broadhead under the same conditions. Also, shooting into concrete a) does not simulate the intended use and b) just highlighted that most of the issue was with the arrows blowing up, not the broadheads. Pointless test really.. Fire anything at a concrete block doing 300fps and its not going to look pretty.. Last time I checked a deer isn't made of metal nor concrete !!
I was excited to see this as i had terrible experience buying cheap broadheads in the past. Why shoot a cement block and not compare accuracy compared to industry standard broadheads
Thankfully Chris I don't typically hunt steel plates or cinder blocks. Why not? Because no matter how long I marinate them they are still very, very tough to chew.
@@BenDownTooLong exactly. I have a friend who mounts the arrow (if he recovers it, obviously) with any fan, rack, etc. so he already factors in not having that arrow in his quiver anymore before release. Thus he has no problem using low cost parts, .006 straightness shafts, etc. He shares my belief that getting closer (or bringing the game closer) is about 80% of the challenge of bowhunting, not practicing 50+ yard shots for months before the seasons start. Every culture on earth fed itself for generations with a bent stick and a string shooting somewhat straighter sticks with rock heads that certainly weren't matched to the tenth of a grain, so we don't put as much stock in super-tuning everything as some do. Pretty much down to just "this arrow is always outside the group, so set it aside, re-fletch, maybe try different heads to see if anything makes it hit the same as the others."
I have bought a bunch of Deepower fixed heads off of Amazon based off of Lusk's testing....let me tell you they are just as sharp (if not sharper), just as durable (if not more durable) and just as accurate than MANY of the big name heads out there.
Oh, it broke when shooting a cinder block so it won’t work on an animal…right Try some brand name ones on the same test and I bet they would break as well Funny video but pretty useless as far as how bad they are and regarding them not working
Love the creative ’outdoor’ sounds. Is that your pet 🦗? Yeah those heads were cheap, but was really a ‘fair test’? I’m sure you could bend brand name heads with pliers and crumple them shooting disc blades and cinder blocks. But, that sure was fun to watch!
This test really didn’t prove anything but the weight, if you shoot any broadhead at a steel plate or cement block it’s going to bend or break and most broadheads are not even made in the U.S.A just like most archery products. The best broadheads on Amazon is the *Deepower broadheads*
I know you guys were just having fun but you can’t really call any of that a test at best that was a “bash” on cheap probably copyright stealing arrows I would have liked to see a real review before you destroyed them
I have bought 3 packs of the G5 M3's from my local shop recently and they aren't sharp either. The band-aide was a nice touch in their packaging. Still had to spend time to make them sharp though.
About the first ones you showed, we fired one at the tread side of a tire at 40 yards with a 10 point nitro 505. It blew right through the first side and then turned to the left bit with the front of the arrow coming to rest just outside of the tire (like where the psi numbers are). It completely destroyed the broadhead and bent the ferrule. One of the blades was stuck in the tread area of the tire, which is also where the shaft broke inside the tire right before the fletching. The tire actually rolled a way a couple feet when we hit it.
For anyone shooting rage expandable broadheads there are Chinese ones for around $20 a pack that work perfectly have seen many animals blown out with the Chinese ones
I think I saw the rage knockoffs for 1$ each if you guy enough of them. Crazy. Probably made by the same company and imported to the USA where they stick their brand name on it and sell at a 1000% markup.
If you need a future video idea, would really like to see a comparison between a recurve, long bow and compound bow as far as pentetration goes with an arrow? Obviously recurves and long bows are still effective but how do they really match up?
fun to watch as i'm sure we've all been tempted by the cheap knock offs at one point or another. Like others have said, would prefer to see an accuracy and regular target test before the destruction. Toss in a couple name brands as well to see how they stack up through all the tests.

Those gold heads with the thin blades are no doubt a knock off of the old school Satellite broadheads. The first deer I ever shot in the shoulder, I was using one of those. I ended up killing that buck 2 weeks later during rifle season, and that broadhead was still stuck in the heaviest part of the scapula, with all three blades shattered.

Brand name broadheads are made in the same Chinese factory on the same production line as the cheap ones, they are identical except the packaging that they come in and spending 20 times as much for a fancy box and a name brand sticker is not going to make you a better hunter. People used to use sharp rocks on their arrows and those worked fine for thousands of years so why do you think that a brand name broadhead is now required to kill a deer? @@The_Judge300 How is using a Chinese counterfeit broadhead on a deer unethical? The deer do not ask if the Chinese are infringing on patents and a counterfeit or unbranded broadhead kills the deer just as dead as a name brand one. Even a field point will kill a deer if it's a heart shot, deer are thin skinned animals and they do not take much to kill. Now if I were hunting cape buffalo I might worry about the strength of the broadhead but for deer, just about anything seems to work fine. An idiot neighbor kid shot a deer with his 750 fps .177 pellet gun and somehow that killed the deer so if a cheap pellet gun can drop a deer then Chinese broadheads can too. Shot placement is everything and a pointy stick thru the heart will kill any deer regardless of the cheapness of the pointy stick.
@@The_Judge300 You talked me into it, I bought some brand name broadheads at the local sport shop. The broadheads I have always hunted with cost 1.55 each and the new ones cost 15 dollars each so I will put them to the test and see if they kill the deer 10 times deader than the cheap ones, 10 times faster than the cheap ones, or if I get 10 deer with each shot. In any case I expect to see dramatic results based on the 10 times higher price tag. Maybe they kill, dress, process and cook the deer all in one shot so it's ready to eat as soon as I walk up to it?
I used to work in an archery shop, when a new broad head came out, my buddy and I would shoot them at an old stop sign he had in his basement, some disintegrated, some broke when getting it out, the best one was a Thunderhead and when I got my Darton Lightning, the fastest bow at the time, I shot through it, the arrow was destroyed but the broad head was fine.
It also says something when the metal on the chinesium metal on the broadhead breaks before the carbon arrow does because its gonna break at the weakest point
Amazon review: "Terrible product. I tried shooting these broadheads at a plowing disc and a cinderblock. Couldnt smoke either of them. Totally worthless."
Could you do a test between cheap amazon carbon arrows vs the name brand arrows i was wondering how much difference there is for the average shooter bc i dont notice much in group sizes but wonder what the difference is from you that has shot alot
I agree with the top comments, could have had some better testing strategies and constant variables. Nonetheless I was not subscribed before watching this video and I happily watched it to the end thoroughly entertained. Excited to see what else you got brother please keep it up. I'm a recurve bow hunter so anytime you show up a video like this that applies to all of us bow hunters I'm very interested. Thank you for your time
I'm just curious why you would shoot steel and concrete to show how "terrible" they are? Can you do the same shots with your "real" broadheads? I guarantee they will be unusable given the same circumstances.
Best ones i found are Fire N the hole fixed broadheads 30 dollars for a 3 pack and leaves a hole the size of a golf ball. Dropped my first deer with one
Im not going to lie man my old man wasnt much of a bow hunter. He shot a recurve once in a blue moon when he would get drawn for a recurve hunt here in oklahoma but after he passed away back in 2019 he willed me all his huntin stuff and he had a couple exact styles u just showed lol. And a tip for ur cricket problem…..next time ur in the woods get u some hedge apples or horse apples…..several different names for them. The green apple lookin things that fall off of Bodark trees and put a couple two or three around ur shop. TRUST ME u will not have the cricket problem any more. They hate hedge apples.
I need help. Anyone. I just bought a QAD drop away rest for my Bowtech CP28 and I had it timed up correctly and even then the launcher is not dropping away fast enough and my fletching are hitting it and causing my arrows to fly weird and also causing me to lose some veins. I need help.
I use the the knock off m5 on Wal-Mart arrows when hunting hogs in the swamp if you sharpen them first they're not bad.the biggest reason is I don't mind losing a $4 arrow with a $3 head in the muck. Now when deer hunting I use the good stuf
Yeah, hard to sue someone for copyright infringement when they’re in another country. Especially a country like China. Hey chris, have you seen the Mathews/bowtech hybrid that’s for sale out there? A Mathews riser with bowtech cams. A Mathtech. You should check that one out as another video like this. Lol
So I want a test of all the "quality" high priced broadheads tested on the metal disc.. also bend them with pliers if they bend or don't hold up we can call them trash also lol
Maybe dumb questions here. But what would happen to an arrow and broadhead in industry standard if you shot a cement block? My Muzzy got ruined and pushed into arrow when it hit a rock after passing through the deer... Deer down, but broadhead/arrow down too.
I've bought the thin bladed ones from Amazon, and they perform flawlessly, on racoon's and opossum. I've shot them off a compound x bow, and a compound bow. even harvested a couple of hog with em. I would love to shoot better broadheads. but you can't argue price. they do take awhile to ship.
Sharpen them up (like you should) and get a single use out of them. Sometimes you have to go with what you can afford and hope for the best. Biggest thing with amazon is read the reviews. Did you try bending any of the name brands. All look slightly different. Sure all you need is to change one feature.
Let's see what a "good " broadhead does on that same block.
I agree. This video is useless without shooting the "good" version at the same target and then comparing the damage.

I bet you have wounded more deer than you have killed.
So ready to get the new button release ordered it 2 weeks ago. Hopefully before bow season starts!
I buy the cheap two blade Chinese heads for my dad to use on pigs lol they’ve done a really good jobs on big boars
DirtNap is that first one you didn’t know
I used to work in an archery shop, when a new broad head came out, my buddy and I would shoot them at an old stop sign he had in his basement, some disintegrated, some broke when getting it out, the best one was a Thunderhead and when I got my Darton Lightning, the fastest bow at the time, I shot through it, the arrow was destroyed but the broad head was fine.
That cricket sound adds so many drama to the quality of these broadheads, LoL
second expandable is like a rocky mountain. Feradyne actually sued a foreign maker of their broadheads and won the court case.
wish I found this sooner... last year I had two deer pull out pliers and bend my broad head and one did some crazy ninja move with a cement block.
Out of curiosity, how do high end heads stand up to cinder blocks?

absolutely killing it Chris!!
6:27 looks like a woodsman copy. Awesome video!
The last one you pulled out of the box that you didn't know is a copy of the Woodsman Elite Series 3.
Worst test ive ever seen. All you did was bash the broadheads. Gave them no chance to even remotely do good. 👎🏻
I don't know why but when chris shh'd the cricket I laughed harder than I should have😂
You should make your own broadhead that would be sick
I agree with the top comments, could have had some better testing strategies and constant variables. Nonetheless I was not subscribed before watching this video and I happily watched it to the end thoroughly entertained. Excited to see what else you got brother please keep it up. I'm a recurve bow hunter so anytime you show up a video like this that applies to all of us bow hunters I'm very interested. Thank you for your time
Mr bee I think we saw something we weren't supposed to see in that UV3 XL. Multi pins?
Oh boy does one on the d power broadhead off of Amazon dude it looks really good like really good in the concrete block and don't even base it Lucas
I'm just curious why you would shoot steel and concrete to show how "terrible" they are? Can you do the same shots with your "real" broadheads? I guarantee they will be unusable given the same circumstances.
That carbon express braodhead nockoff was a copy of the carbon express f-15.
Chris u could sharpen them and may have a decent smaller game head maybe and u can also do a knock off versus real test to
I need help.

If you can take a hog with the cheap stuff, you can take a deer.
I know but the heads I use in the swamp are like 12 for $16 and I don't want to take a chance of just wounding a deer

Man you should’ve done a slow motion video of the arrow flight from like 30 yards or something ya know?
Yeah, hard to sue someone for copyright infringement when they’re in another country. Especially a country like China.
Hey chris, have you seen the Mathews/bowtech hybrid that’s for sale out there? A Mathews riser with bowtech cams. A Mathtech. You should check that one out as another video like this. Lol
All of these test will be applicable if I ever find myself searching for a head to hunt disc blades and cinder blocks.
That one head looks like an older Snuffer, to me. They only made a screw-in using an adapter, though, to my knowledge.

Why not a similar broadhead test on what you reckon are better quality and or manufactured other than China.

So I want a test of all the "quality" high priced broadheads tested on the metal disc.. also bend them with pliers if they bend or don't hold up we can call them trash also lol
Hardly a good comparison. Consumers just can't take your word that the industry standards are that much better.
Everyone should definitely go out and buy broadheads in fancy retail packaging for 20 each
What new scope do I see on that bow 😮💨
Anyone else peep the 3 pin cartridge ? Free one on chris bee? For seeing it lol

Thanks Chris! Can't wait to see hunting videos soon!
I’m really curious at the climbing gear you use. I would love to see a review or demo on that
Sharpen them up (like you should) and get a single use out of them. Sometimes you have to go with what you can afford and hope for the best. Biggest thing with amazon is read the reviews. Did you try bending any of the name brands. All look slightly different. Sure all you need is to change one feature.
Funny. More tests, please. Maybe with mdf or cardboard.
What does a quality broadhead look like after the same cinder block shot for comparison?
Love the content can’t wait for deer season to start
I feel like you're going to be finding a lot of the parts to these the next time you mow the lawn.
How does the wobble test thing work?
How funny, I caught a cricket in the basement yesterday. Wanted really bad to shoot it with my Mathew’s.
You should try cheap Amazon stabilizer test
