@MasterrEli Episode 3 is probably the 2nd worst of the original 6. Maybe even worse than TFA. The prequel glazing has gotten out of hand. 1. TESB (Obviously) 2. ANH 3. ROTJ 4. RO 5. TPM 6. TFA 7. ROTS (By far the most overrated) 8. Solo 9, 10, 11. TLJ, AOTC, and TROS (All equally bad)
1. Revenge of the Sith 2. Empire Strikes Back 3. A New Hope 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Rogue One 6. The Phantom Menace 7. Attack of the Clones 8. Solo 9. The Force Awakens 10. The Rise of Skywalker 11. The Last Jedi
My ranking: 12) The Last Jedi 11) The Rise of Skywalker 10) The Force Awakens 9) Solo 8) TCW Movie 7) Rogue One 6) The Phantom Menace 5) Return of the Jedi 4) Attack of the Clones 3) A New Hope 2) The Empire Strikes Back 1) Revenge of the Sith
11. The Rise of Skywalker 10. The Force Awakens 09. The last Jedi 08. Solo 07. The Phantom Menace 06. Attack of the Clones 05. Rogue One 04. Return of the Jedi 03. Revenge of the Sith 02. A New Hope 01. The Empire Strikes Back
TESB has everything you want in a movie. The fact that it’s set in a galaxy far away is almost irrelevant. And yet everything that movie throws at you got you immersed more into the story. It was darker, deeper and romantic all at once than any of the others. I call it the best movie of all time.
1) Revenge of the sith 2) Empire strikes back 3) Return of the Jedi 4) Rogue One 5) Attack of the clones 6) A New Hope 7) The Phantom Menace 8) The Force Awakens 9) Solo 10) Rise Of Skywalker 11) The Last Jedi
So glad to see someone else with the courage to rank Revenge of the Sith #1. I am regularly accused of blasphemy by rating it ahead of Empire Strikes Back. That said, we needed 4 prequel movies (at least). Clock is ticking on their chance to do live action clone wars (Hayden and Ewan are not getting any younger) and make good on this.
Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars film, even better than The Empire Strikes Back, which is close second. The Last Jedi is the worst Star Wars film, with The Rise of Skywalker being only slightly better than TLJ.
ROTS doesn't hold a candle to the OT. Even TPM is better. ROTS is by far the most overrated movie in the franchise. 6.5/10 at best because everything is underdeveloped and rushed. TFA is genuinely better than both TPM and AOTC. Maybe even TLJ is better as well.
Star Wars I-VI are the true cult classic wonderful movies that built the legend of the Star Wars universe, the Skywalker saga, Star Wars world building, iconic characters, world expansion and exploration, the diversity of peoples, planets, environments, creatures, and digital technologies revolution, a great galactic epic in six wonderful parts, the story of Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one destined to bring balance to the Force, the rise and fall of a hero who succumbs to fear, anger and the temptation of the dark side, his quest to save those he loved, leading him to become Darth Vader, and how he ultimately redeems himself through the love of his son, the story of a democracy slowly corrupted into a dictatorship, as Palpatine manipulates fear and crisis to seize absolute power, until the fall of the Empire and the restoration of the Republic's order through Anakin's sacrifice, ending with the liberation of all the planets of the Star Wars world, the wonderful Star Wars galaxy, the work of its creator, two wonderful facets that form an inseparable whole of the Star Wars galaxy, the six original movies of the Star Wars universe, the creativity of world-building, the perfectionist visionary genius and incredible imagination of George Lucas, and Star Wars I-VI will never be beaten.
@QueenTheTrueStarWarsFan Except Anakin is portrayed not as a good person but as a whiny, intolerable ingrate who doesn't have proper motives for turning against the jedi. The romance is beyond cringe and is somewhat toxic, making it hard to feel more and believe that it could have ever worked, other than because the plot requires it to. All of the characters are idiots just so Palpatine can win by luck, even though his plan is so convoluted and very much shouldn't have worked. TPM, despite being the best movie of the prequels, is 2/3 irrelevant, which makes the following 2 movies even more pathetic. The originals were a perfect story by themselves, and the prequels somewhat tarnished the perfect story of the OT because of all its flaws.
George Lucas’s Star Wars prequels are a pure masterpiece, a magnificent, exciting, and incredibly rich work that has greatly contributed to the story, universe, characters, lore, and mythology of Star Wars. They are the greatest movies-a thrilling, cult classic trilogy from beginning to end. These are the Star Wars movies George Lucas always intended to make, and they are the best, most complete, and richest of all the Star Wars trilogies. Everything is superb: the deepening of the Star Wars universe and its narrative elements is stunning and engaging. The detailed exploration of the Clone Wars, a pivotal moment in Star Wars history, is fascinating. The period of the Clone Wars is the best era in the Star Wars saga. The gripping storyline develops throughout the films, with the rise of Palpatine (Darth Sidious) portrayed masterfully. His behind-the-scenes machinations to undermine the Galactic Republic and bring the galaxy under his control are meticulously shown. His manipulation to create a massive clone army and wipe out the Jedi with Order 66 is central to the story, explaining how the Galactic Empire came to be after the fall of the Republic and how Anakin turned to the dark side, becoming Darth Vader. Anakin’s fall, driven by his desire to save those he loved, is tragic and profound. His transformation into Darth Vader is a breathtaking, iconic scene. The connection to the original trilogy is seamlessly handled. Anakin’s internal conflict-torn between his loyalty to the Jedi Order and his desire to protect those he loves-makes his story deep and tragic. Key moments such as his confrontation with Count Dooku and his heartbreaking final duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi on Mustafar heighten the drama. The prequels also brought invaluable depth to the Star Wars universe, offering detailed insight into the Jedi Order, the training of Padawans, the Sith, and Jedi teachings. The focus on the Sith and their philosophy strengthened the dark side of the Force, adding layers of depth and complexity to the saga. The political aspect of the prequel trilogy introduces a new dimension to Star Wars, with Palpatine’s machinations in the Galactic Senate and the growing tensions between planetary systems, creating a richer context for the events of the Original Trilogy-the rise of the Empire, the fall of the Republic, the extinction of the Jedi, and the tragic story of Anakin Skywalker. The expansion of the Star Wars universe is also amazing, with new planets, races, creatures, and cultures. The introduction of Dug, Gungans, Toydarians, Kaminoans, the underwater city, the Queen’s palace, the Galactic Senate, the cloning facility, and planets like Naboo and Coruscant-all of which are among the best-help create a larger, more diverse world. Iconic locations such as Kamino, Geonosis, Utapau, Felucia, and Mustafar provide visually captivating settings for action scenes, plot development, and key moments in the story. The trilogy also gave us legendary characters like Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Padmé Amidala, Qui-Gon Jinn, Mace Windu, General Grievous, Jango Fett, and more. The action scenes and lightsaber battles are some of the most memorable in the saga. Epic battles such as the Battle of Geonosis, the podrace on Tatooine, the Battle of Naboo, and the Battle over Coruscant are iconic, visually stunning, and filled with emotional stakes, involving characters we’ve grown to love. Lightsaber duels between legendary figures like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Darth Maul, and Yoda are executed with exceptional choreography, adding visceral energy to the story. The duel on Naboo, the clash with Count Dooku, Yoda’s fight with Darth Sidious in the Senate, Darth Maul’s encounter, and the tragic brotherly battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin are unforgettable. These episodes also enriched Star Wars lore with charismatic new characters, unforgettable music like 'Duel of the Fates,' 'Across the Stars,' and 'Battle of the Heroes,' a fascinating and expansive mythology, and a cast of talented actors, including Ewan McGregor, Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson, and Liam Neeson. Natalie Portman is stunning, graceful, and charismatic as Padmé Amidala, queen and senator of Naboo. She brings strength, determination, and courage to her role, evolving from a queen to a senator and eventually into a strong, elegant, and determined woman-a central feature of the trilogy. Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson deliver a classy and memorable presence onscreen, and their dynamic as Jedi Masters is palpable, conveying wisdom and resolve that ground the story in Jedi heritage. Christopher Lee’s presence as Count Dooku adds a touch of class, elegance, and charisma, enhanced by his Shakespearean delivery. The Star Wars prequels were the revival of the Star Wars saga, bringing real dramatic weight, political context, meaningful stakes, new and iconic characters, and thrilling action scenes. They vastly expanded the Star Wars universe, making it more diverse and richly developed, with a lore that perfectly complements the Original Trilogy and is inseparable from it. These Star Wars episodes are masterpieces that form an incredible whole, a single, exceptional galactic epic. It is the story of Anakin Skywalker-from his training as a Jedi to his fall to the dark side, and ultimately his redemption in saving his son, destroying the Sith, and bringing balance to the Force. It’s also the story of the Galactic Empire, once a democratic Republic, and Palpatine’s rise from senator to emperor of the galaxy-his manipulation to secure his authority in the Senate, create his own Empire, destroy the Jedi Order, and keep Anakin as his apprentice. Furthermore, this trilogy marked a major advancement in digital filmmaking, modern technologies, editing, and special effects, allowing the creation of new worlds, incredible world-building, and the extraordinary narrative of the Star Wars prequels. Like Avatar, it is a vast, rich, and unlimited universe that explores new planets, civilizations, technologies, and worlds. This trilogy is the greatest, more far-reaching, more fantastc, in Star Wars, as George Lucas was able to build his universe exactly as he envisioned it. Without the prequels, the Star Wars universe would not be as interesting, vast, developed, or as exciting and rich as it is today. @@SpaZNinjA18
I have to agree a lot about rouge ones placement, actually the top 3 seem to be the ones where the bad guys are winning huh? Rouge one was one of my favorites, and truly had nothing to do with the vader scene, the story was moving smoothly, the characters were relatable, even the guy with the staff was able to follow the force despite not being an extremely force sensitive person which I found neat in relation to other characters who have shown some enhanced skills possibly being attributed without knowing to the force, like Han Solo, or some of palps royal guards, maybe even Finn? Yeah your list is rather close to mine, wish we had more qui gon, he was so important in the role to just be discarded so soon. Maybe a call back to a new hope? He literally discovered how to survive death which he taught yoda and everyone…. Dooku, awesome villain… man… yeah good list !
1) Empire Strikes Back 2) A New Hope 3) Revenge of the Sith 4) Return of the Jedi 5) Attack of the Clones 6) The Phantom Menace 7) Rogue One 8) Solo 9) The last Jedi 10) Rise of Skywalker 11) The Force Awakens
I agree pretty heavily with this list, but to say Mark's acting in A New Hope was not that good is crazy, he was in a state of shock and disbelief when his Aunt and Uncle were killed and he clearly shows unimaginable anger when Kenobi dies and takes out like 5 stormtroopers. I think he acted it well
12. Clone Wars 11. Rise of Skywalker 10. Last Jedi 9. Force Awakens 8. Solo 7. Phantom Menace 6. Attack of the clones 5. Rogue one 4. Revenge of the sith 3. Return of the jedi 2. A new hope 1. The empire strikes back
Alright here goes… 11. Attack of the Clones: a bad love story, corny dialogue, and unintentional goofiness that makes me physically cringe.A few redeeming qualities that help, but don’t save. 10. The Last Jedi: The franchise breaker. TFA asked some pretty good questions that it left open ended, and TLJ came in to either answer those questions about as poorly as possible or completely ignore them. 9. The Rise of Skywalker: A beautiful mess. Cinematically, one of the greatest movies possibly of all time. But story wise… this was just JJ’s attempt to stitch back together what Rian broke about what I believe JJ originally had in mind when putting together TFA. And hardly any of it landed. 8. The Phantom Menace: A boring, poorly paced move, that had its share all-time great moments with some all-time great characters, which is enough to elevate this film as pretty decent watch. 7. A New Hope (😅): Basically all the stuff Eli said, but I just can’t bring myself to put on those ‘blinders’. But while I may not be entranced by this movie, its undeniably legendary legacy makes it every bit deserving of its rightful place in cinema history. 6. Rogue One: a thoroughly enjoyable film that emulates the original trilogy so well, all while elevating it with modern day technology. To me, though, the ensemble of protagonists just fell flat. They were basic and uninteresting, to be harsh. But so many good things surround this gripe, that it still holds up quite well despite it. 5. Solo: an all-around awesome look at Han’s backstory. I think it could’ve been a little longer, and it wasn’t perfect, but this is still a great movie with some great moments that well-establishes some more lore about a great character. 4. The Empire Strikes Back: By far the most iconic Star Wars movie. When I think Star Wars, I think The Empire Strikes Back. TESB *is* Star Wars. It falls into some of the same drawbacks as A New Hope, but everything is just done a little better, from the dialogue to the acting to the VFX. 3. The Force Awakens: This was my first Star Wars theater experience. I saw it in theaters six times. It might be a carbon copy of A New Hope, but I couldn’t have asked for anything better than to see a modernized New Hope. I was not disappointed. 2. Revenge of the Sith: Suffers from a lot of the same cheesiness and clunkiness that plagues the entire prequels, but I’m a sucker for emotional intensity, and man, does it come through on that front. There are also just so many other great things about this movie that truly make it a staple for the franchise. 1. Return of the Jedi: Probably the least-liked original trilogy movie. And while it may not be the perfect movie, I think it IS the perfect ending. RotJ holds a special place in my heart, and even became a big driver for the moral standard I hold for myself to this day. Vader’s redemption is beautifully captured, completing the ultimate ‘good will trump all in the face of evil’ story.

Star Wars Episodes 1, 2, and 3 are the greatest movies in the Star Wars universe. They are a legendary and essential work, pivotal in shaping the world of Star Wars, representing the best the franchise has to offer in every aspect. From Episodes I to VI, all the Star Wars movies are masterpieces-iconic, stunning, incredibly rich, exciting, and timeless. These movies remain unmatched, defining the pinnacle of science fiction with the best characters, actors, casting, scenes, universe, and storytelling. The depth, the expansion, and the sheer creativity of this universe are unparalleled, with its planets, environments, creatures, and civilizations revolutionizing cinema with groundbreaking technology, digital effects, and editing advancements. Together, these two epic trilogies form a perfect, magical, and exceptional whole-an inseparable part of a grand, unified story: the tale of Anakin Skywalker, his journey from a Jedi to the dark side, and his ultimate redemption through self-sacrifice to save his son, destroy the Sith, and restore balance to the Force. It’s also the rise and fall of a dictatorship, showing the transformation of a democracy into tyranny, all set in a vast, sprawling universe that is breathtakingly rich and endlessly creative. Star Wars Episodes I through VI tell the same story, set in the same universe-George Lucas’s singular vision of an extraordinary science fiction saga. Both trilogies are integral to the Star Wars world, two sides of the same galaxy. These two monumental trilogies are masterpieces that have greatly contributed to building the universe and lore of Star Wars as we know it today. They are legendary, exciting, and iconic works of science fiction, the crowning achievement of George Lucas. Six incredible movies that together form an inseparable whole.

1. Empire Strikes Back 2. New Hope 3. Return of the Jedi 4. Revenge of the Sith 5. Rouge One Agree with the order of the rest of your list. Revenge of the Sith is the toughest to rank because it has possibly the most compelling story and best action scenes, but the dialogue kills it at times. This is where Empire truly shines, as well as New Hope and Jedi. Solo is by far the most underappreciated Star Wars film, so much fun. Rouge One was great (as is Andor) and shines a light on the unheralded members of the Rebellion. It also has THE most kick-ass Darth Vader ever to come to the movies. Enjoyed the other two prequels even with all their flaws. No need to mention the sequel trilogy.

Rogue One is just a decent war movie but it's not a good Star Wars movie, too realistic, pretty boring, with uninteresting and forgettable characters and devoid of fantasy.
Going to get destroyed for this ranking: 1) Empire Strikes Back 2) The Original 3) Revenge of the Sith 4) The Last Jedi 5) Solo: A Star Wars Story 6) Return of the Jedi 7) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story 8) The Force Awakens 9) The Phantom Menace 10) Attack of the Clones 11) The Rise of Skywalker
1-Revenge of the Sith 2- Attack of the Clones 3- The Phantom Menace 4- Return of the Jedi 5- The Empire Strikes Back 6- A New Hope 7- Rogue One The sequel and Solo don't exist.
I just dont get how The last Jedi is ranked so high, force awakens was not great but they could have built from it - the Last Jedi ruined all chance of that imo. It also felt so scaled down for a galactic conflict
Got mine here! 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. Return of the Jedi 3. A New Hope 4. Revenge of the Sith 5. Rogue One 6. Solo 7. The Last Jedi 8. The Force Awakens 9. Phantom Menace 10. Attack of the Clones 11. Rise of Skywalker

Solo is a pretty low ranked movie by many people so I'm a bit surprised, and I don't know how the force awakens manages to get higher ratings than Revenge of the sith.

Criminal to put Empire Strikes Back at Number 3. Hands down it is the best movie of them all. 1. Empire 2. Original Star Wars 3. Rogue One 4. Return of the Jedi 5. Revenge of the Sith
1. Revenge of the Sith 2. Attack of the Clones. 3. The Phantom Menace 4. Return of the Jedi 5. The Empire Strikes Back 6. A New Hope The flawed waste boring sequels and Solo don't exist in the Star Wars universe. 🤢

Rogue One is just a decent war movie but it's not a good Star Wars movie, too realistic, pretty boring, with uninteresting and forgettable characters and devoid of fantasy.
While I wouldn't Rank Revenge of the Sith No. , it is still pretty great IMO and is high on my list. for one, I think the OT is better, especially episodes, 4 and 5. and two the flaws you pointed out about it are partly why and a few others that drag it down a peg from being no 1. Such as: Mace Windu's fight with palpatine is anti-climatic, as palpatine is making weird faces throughout the whole fight which takes me out of their duel. It doesn't sell to me at all that this man, Palpatine, is the most powerful man in the Galaxy, as Windu wins too easily IMO. It should have been a closer duel. Another is Anakin's turn being rushed as you said, and also he doesn't feel like the Darth Vader from the OT, meaning you dont really get sold on the fact in this film that this man can be the tyrant of the Galaxy for the next few decades, as he doesn't feel like he is to be feared in this film. As he is just a brat in ep. 2 and an idiot at times in this film, doesn't feel like he is as smart and ruthless as he is in the OT, imo.

1- Revenge of the Sith 2- Attack of the Clones 3- The Phantom Menace 4- Return of the Jedi 5- The Empire Strikes Back 6- A New Hope 7- Rogue One The sequels and Solo don't exist 🤢
Would rate them as 1. Empire Strikes Back 2. Star Wars (yes I am that old that that is what we seen on the screen) 3. Return of the Jedi 4. Revenge of the Sith 5. Rogue One (let's be serious only the last 50 minutes maybe of that movie is any good character development was horrible) 6. The Phantom Menace 7. The Force Awakens (unfortunately it is impossible to watch this one anymore after the rest of the sequels broke Star Wars so badly but as a stand alone its pretty decent) 8. Solo 9. The Attack of the Clones 10. Rise of Skywalker 11. The Last Jedi (could not be anything else since this is the moment that Star Wars was completely broken)

The Force Awakens is a nostalgia-driven remake rehashing the past, with characters who have as much charisma and personality as dead oysters, a lack of creativity and a shrinking Star Wars universe. The Last Jedi is terribly boring, with boring arcs that have no connection with the main plot (Canto Bight), boring characters (Rose, Finn, Poe...), forced cringe humor, Luke Skywalker looking like an asshole... The Rise of the Skywalker is the return of Palpatine and Rey Palpatine's granddaughter... Waste. Star Wars 7,8,9 are the biggest cinematic disappointment of the decade. Solo is boring and should never have existed. Rogue One is a decent war movie but a bad Star Wars movie, too realistic, lacking in fantasy, and with forgettable, uninteresting characters.

My ranking :) 12. Last Jedi 11. Rise of Skywalker 10. Force Awakens 9. Rouge obe 8. Solo 7. TCW - movie 6-2. OT trylogy, Phantom Menace and Attack of the clones. 1. Revenge of the Sith!
Solo is horrible. It is easily as bad (or worse) than VII, VIII, IX. Ep II is quite a bit better. Episode IV is literally one of the best films and most success movie of all times. The space opera starts there. If any of the movies are even close to EP IV to is Ep V. Rogue 1 is an unneeded and probably inappropriate rewrite of the back story in the crawl of Ep IV. That said, it is easily the best movie since Disney Star Wars.
My ranking 11 rise of Skywalker 10 the last Jedi 9 force awakens ( just a new hope but worse) 8 solo 7 the phantom menace 6 attack of the clones 5 rouge one 4 a new hope 3 ROTJ 2 Empire 1 revenge of the sith

Nahh I don't care how bad some of the prequel movies are, none are worse than the best sequel movie its not even close they're that trash, yes all of them.
1. Episode III - Its Great from start to finish 2. Episode V - Again from start to finish its all great 3. Episode VI - Honeslty its overrated but nostalgia makes me like it alot 4. Rogue One - Final act was really Great 6. Episode IV - Sorry but i just dont think about or watch it much its still Good and objectively better than most above it but i always prefer others 6. Episode II - its fine with some flaws 7. Episode I - Kinda boring but has a Great villian
1-Revenge of the Sith 2- Attack of the Clones 3- The Phantom Menace 4- Return of the Jedi 5- The Empire Strikes Back 6- A New Hope 7- Rogue One The sequel and Solo don't exist.
I think that revenge of the sith is too overrated and gets too much love these days. This movie has no true plot anakin skywalker turns bad, the Jedi are killed, the empire rises and Luke and leia are born. That is what happens not the plot itself. The movie looks bad compared to phantom menace. I will say mustafar looks good but the rest just look so fake weather or not it is digital. The clones look terrible and don’t resemble actual troopers. They look clearly cgi. The music is boring. If it is good it is the clone army match which was originally used for attack of the clones as well as Padmes funeral music which was previously used for qui gons death. Sure there is anakins betrayal and dark deeds but it just feels like generic sad music. There is also battle of the hero’s which is just so lame compared to duel of fates which is epic and a jedis fury which captures the true tragedy of darth Vader. The plot constantly shifts. One moment they are trying to kill to kill grevious to then trying to survive order 66. Every other Star Wars has a true plot and direction. This one is just a series of events that eventually Leeds up to a much superior film of Star Wars 1977. It is paced terribly and by the end they must have everything to be setup perfectly just how it is in new hope even though it is a 19 year difference. Darth Vader is barely in it and is not cool at all. I will say I do like christensons preformance as anakin and Vader as well as when vader is getting his suit on. That is what the movie should have been like. The only reason the movie gets praise today is because of the sequels and the weird obsession with anakin and the clone wars as well as just that everyone is nostalgic for it.
@ it was the best paced film of all of them. You also knew what the plot and point of the movie would be from the beginning it didn’t have the feel of let’s just add stuff as we go until anakin tuned into Vader. From a filmmaking standpoint it is the best one. Interesting characters that are either relatable or fun in some way. New hope is actually written like a classic action adventures that Lucas loved himself. Are some of the special effects a bit dated. Sure the movie will be 50 years old in a couple years. Also it’s like u haven’t even watched the film. Doesn’t have much at all? What are you talking about? What does this not have that the others do when it comes to quality of film. And if you say there isn’t as much of the galaxy like in revenge of the sith or attack of the clones. That doesn’t determine the quality of a film. If you want expanded lore and galaxy read and watch the terrible Disney garbage. If u actually care about the films itself rather than how it looks for the fake Disney Star Wars brand then by all means keep drinking the koolaid. Disney is introducing more characters and parts of the galaxy and lore just to take your money. It is brand. Not art. Revenge of the sith and the prequels I would consider art because they had good intentions at least. Same with the empire and Jedi. But none have ever been on the level of this first movie
My ranking 1. Rogue One 2. Revenge of the Sith 3. Return of the Jedi 4. The Empire Strikes Back 5. The Force Awakens 6. A New Hope (sorry, not sorry) 7. Solo 8. The Last Jedi 9. The Rise of Skywalker 10. The Phantom Menace 11. Attack of the Clones
@ it’s very boring for the most part. The podrace is nice, I like Qui-Gon, and the third act (especially the duel) is pretty nice. And of course, the score is great too. Otherwise, I don’t like it.

NGL i think rogue one is the better film, revenge of the sith is the best if you have seen clone wars but only if... and although the film is very compelling, dark, and action heavy but rogue one is constructed in a better way and gives more payback in the film itself... The fall to the dark side of anakin is not beliveable if you havent seen clone wars, it just feels off to me 1 Rogue one 2 E3 revenge of the sith 3 E5 4 E2 (The adrenaline rush of the coming of the clones is crazy for me and it's the only reason it's there, the story before the clones come is meh) 5 E6 ewoks feel off 6 E4, got old really bad and acting a bit lackluster and off putting sometimes 7 Solo, meh for me i couldn"t remember the plot 8 E1 ... everything was said 9 the force awakens, rey not having any struggles and plot being a bit too similar to E4 10 The last jedi, nonsense scenes and idiotic plot, didn't cut it for me 11 the rise of skywalker, BORING, GET A LIFE, cliché, idiotic scenes too much hazard and trying way too hard to seem better than it is ...

I agree with almost everything but i would put episode 1 way higher. I know alot of people dont enjoy it but i love the pod race and the duel of the fates. Also the character of qui gon and younger anakin and obi wan

I feel like episode one should get slightly more credit, I'm not saying its great but it had to show so much in so little time. It had to show that Obi Wan was way too young to train Anakin, Qui Gon not being able to be the "father" Anakin needed, the beginnings of Palpatine's manipulation, the reason why there was a war going on in the first place, etc. While yes the dialogue wasnt great and they lingered on the comedic relief more, it doesnt negate the importance of everything that happened. Attack of the Clones was, in my opinion, worse.

@@Chemical_Argentum
@@Chemical_Argentum
ROT is the best of the prequels, but saying it is the best of all Star Wars movies makes no sense. Everything bad about the prequels are still present in ROT as well, the acting most of all. Mediocre at best.
Star Wars I-VI will never be beaten. Disney should stop with Star Wars because nobody wants to see a new trilogy with the Mary Sue girl who stole the Skywalker name at the end of the last movie. The sequels are flawed and the next movies will be in the same spirit.

Oh I know. It’s my dad’s favorite SW movie 😅. But this is my opinion for the most part, and as a Star Wars movie, I don’t think TLJ holds up to the rest.
I honestly will never understand this - born 76- SW was massive growing up so biased towards the originals, however TLJ ruined any chance of a cohesive trilogy and even more so felt so small compared to others that were on a galactic level. To each their own I guess
they did something different with it, a brave take at something else which would split the fandom. either you love it or you hate it and i personally loved it. so much respect for them taking a different route than what everyone was expecting. really unpredictable which i can’t say any other star wars film comes close to.
There are issues with the Sequel Trilogy -- and yes, TROS is the worst film outside of the Clone Wars theatrical movie -- but these comments and arguments are both tired and mostly already addressed in the films themselves. I'd challenge you to actually explore the points you make further. (An easy one: Finn is not all in on the Resistance by the end of TFA.) I appreciate your Solo love, though.
@TheMaltianRobloxian In your imagination maybe. Just go check any top movies of all time on the internet. Originals change cinema industry forever and become a pop culture icon. What cultural impact had ROTS?? Prequels passed without glory and overshadowed for other franchises like LOTR. If those medioccre movies had any atention was only cause they have the name Star Wars in them
@@facu415 The Prequels literally had better visual effects, music, more action sequences, emotion, and other things than A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Put nostalgia aside and you’ll realize how Revenge of The Sith is a better movie. Most tierlists also rank ROS higher than it because of these reasons.
@@TheMaltianRobloxian You need put nostalgia aside bro. ROTS is fun and have a bunch of very emotional moments but still have many flaws to be considered a masterpiece. Giant plot holes, poor direction, cringie dialogs, lame edition, exces os CGI, lack of development of some characters (Dooku, Grievous, Windu, Padme). Isn't fair compare visual effects of different ages movies, but Empire looked awesome in 1980, while ROTS was criticized in 2005 cause all in it look fake like video game graphics. Its ok if ROTS is your favorite, but as long as you dont have objetivity a padawan still be, my friend.

ROTS never deserved #1. It is egregiously overrated. By far far the most overrated in the franchise. It's not even the best of the prequels because TPM is better, despite being 2/3 irrelevant.
I did note the downsides of ROTS, but it's just my opinion. I genuinely enjoy that movie the most because I think it's the most immersive star wars experience.
I disagree, but if that's your opinion, that's your opinion lol Personally it's my favorite Star Wars movie, but I don't necessarily think it's the "best" one, if that makes sense. Even though I think ESB is "better" I still enjoy ROTS more, despite it's flaws. On a side note I also enjoy the other 2 prequels. Let's all be honest with ourselves. ESB is awesome, but the peak of it is "I am your father" and we are all excited to hear it.

Star Wars 7,8,9 don't exist. The six original movies are the best.

Awesome ranking of every star wars movie my friend you know the best star wars movies so many are so epic it’s amazing to watch star wars 😁😎❤️
1) Empire Strikes Back
2) A New Hope
3) Revenge of the Sith
4) Return of the Jedi
5) Attack of the Clones
6) The Phantom Menace
7) Rogue One
8) Solo
9) The last Jedi
10) Rise of Skywalker
11) The Force Awakens
Disney in last place, good.
Okay that’s a little wild not putting return of the Jedi or rots as number 1 or even 2 but
@@Purpleshoeballer12 I don’t think it’s wild to put the 2 most critically acclaimed movies 1st and second
I think he acted it well
I guess I said it wrong, I don’t think his acting is poor per se, but it’s his weakest performance in the trilogy in my opinion
@ youre good I can agree with that it takes guts to put rogue one so high but I can definitely agree with it
He put Clone Wars Kenobi as a face of First episode... HAVE YOU EVEN SEEN STAR WARS MOVIES? MY FANBOY BLOOD IS BOILING!!!!!
I was just trying different thumbnails, tryna get something that works

2. A new hope
1. The empire strikes back
@@mikemichailidis1685 return of Jedi kinda sucks but I can agree with most of this list
This is one of the worst lists I think I’ve ever seen
Wow! I have never seen anyone who agrees 100% with all the movie rankings!
Alright here goes…
8. The Phantom Menace:
A boring, poorly paced move, that had its share all-time great moments with some all-time great characters, which is enough to elevate this film as pretty decent watch.

Thank you, the Disney trilogy movies are so bad. To this day I've refused to ever watch them for a second time.
Thank you friend for having the guts to admit Revenge of the Sith was the best Star Wars film! 🍻

Agree with the order of the rest of your list.

I just dont get how The last Jedi is ranked so high, force awakens was not great but they could have built from it - the Last Jedi ruined all chance of that imo. It also felt so scaled down for a galactic conflict

Star Wars I-VI are the true cult classic wonderful movies that built the legend of the Star Wars universe, the Skywalker saga, Star Wars world building, iconic characters, world expansion and exploration, the diversity of peoples, planets, environments, creatures, and digital technologies revolution, a great galactic epic in six wonderful parts, the story of Anakin Skywalker, the chosen one destined to bring balance to the Force, the rise and fall of a hero who succumbs to fear, anger and the temptation of the dark side, his quest to save those he loved, leading him to become Darth Vader, and how he ultimately redeems himself through the love of his son, the story of a democracy slowly corrupted into a dictatorship, as Palpatine manipulates fear and crisis to seize absolute power, until the fall of the Empire and the restoration of the Republic's order through Anakin's sacrifice, ending with the liberation of all the planets of the Star Wars world, the wonderful Star Wars galaxy, the work of its creator, two wonderful facets that form an inseparable whole of the Star Wars galaxy, the six original movies of the Star Wars universe, the creativity of world-building, the perfectionist visionary genius, wonderful creative vision and incredible fantastic imagination of George Lucas, and Star Wars I-VI will never be beaten.

Rogue One is just a decent war movie but it's not a good Star Wars movie, too realistic, pretty boring, with uninteresting and forgettable characters and devoid of fantasy.
This list is spot on
While I wouldn't Rank Revenge of the Sith No. , it is still pretty great IMO and is high on my list.
for one, I think the OT is better, especially episodes, 4 and 5.
and two the flaws you pointed out about it are partly why and a few others that drag it down a peg from being no 1.

4- Return of the Jedi

Honestly i think ANH is extremely overrated compared to other films it doesnt have much at all
@ it was the best paced film of all of them.

@@QueenTheTrueStarWarsFan The OT is a cult classic. The PT was despised till 2019

These two monumental trilogies are masterpieces that have greatly contributed to building the universe and lore of Star Wars as we know it today. you do NOT speak for everyone when you call the last jedi terrible. to a lot of us it’s the best star wars movie there will ever be.
Finally some tlj respect it’s easily the only good sequel movie
they did something different with it, a brave take at something else which would split the fandom. either you love it or you hate it and i personally loved it. so much respect for them taking a different route than what everyone was expecting. really unpredictable which i can’t say any other star wars film comes close to.
There are issues with the Sequel Trilogy -- and yes, TROS is the worst film outside of the Clone Wars theatrical movie -- but these comments and arguments are both tired and mostly already addressed in the films themselves. I'd challenge you to actually explore the points you make further. (An easy one: Finn is not all in on the Resistance by the end of TFA.)
I appreciate your Solo love, though.
Sorry but ROTS is not even close to originals in cinematographic quality or cultural impact. Eps.IV and V are easily in top 30 movies of all time.
It’s the opposite
@TheMaltianRobloxian In your imagination maybe. Just go check any top movies of all time on the internet. Originals change cinema industry forever and become a pop culture icon. What cultural impact had ROTS?? Prequels passed without glory and overshadowed for other franchises like LOTR. If those medioccre movies had any atention was only cause they have the name Star Wars in them
@@facu415 The Prequels literally had better visual effects, music, more action sequences, emotion, and other things than A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. The Force Awakens is so underrated.
ROTS never deserved #1. It is egregiously overrated. By far far the most overrated in the franchise. It's not even the best of the prequels because TPM is better, despite being 2/3 irrelevant.
Well unpopular opinion detected lol
I did note the downsides of ROTS, but it's just my opinion. I genuinely enjoy that movie the most because I think it's the most immersive star wars experience.
I disagree, but if that's your opinion, that's your opinion lol
Personally it's my favorite Star Wars movie, but I don't necessarily think it's the "best" one, if that makes sense. Even though I think ESB is "better" I still enjoy ROTS more, despite it's flaws. On a side note I also enjoy the other 2 prequels. I know they're not the best when it comes to dialogue and they have some pacing issues, but I fell in love with the actual story being told.
My list because why not:
1: Revenge of the Sith
2: The Empire Strikes Back
3: Return of the Jedi
4: Rogue One
5: Attack of the Clones
6: The Phantom Menace
7: The Force Awakens
8: Solo
9: A New Hope
10: The Rise of Skywalker
11: The Last Jedi
Please don’t hate on me too much for A New Hope, I kinda just find it boring 🤷
I think it got better after how developed it was from the clone wars and rogue one, besides it looked better relative to the sequels
1. Revenge of the Sith
2. Return of the Jedi
3. Attack of the Clones
4. A New Hope
5. Rogue One
6. The Force Awakens
7. Empire Strikes Back
8. The Phantom Menace
9. Solo
10. The Rise of Skywalker
11. The last Jedi
1. Revenge of the Sith
2. Attack of the Clones.
3. The Phantom Menace
4. Return of the Jedi
5. The Empire Strikes Back
6. A New Hope
The flawed waste boring sequels and Solo don't exist in the Star Wars universe. 🤢

Rogue One is just a decent war movie but it's not a good Star Wars movie, too realistic, pretty boring, with uninteresting and forgettable characters and devoid of fantasy.
