While i like grievous combat i feel like EA missed out on making him truly uniqe. Imagine if you could switch between 2 lightsabers and 4 lightsaber. With 2 you would be faster but with 4 you could deal more damage.

Grievous, in comparison to Vader, is easily counter-able. As soon as you see the thrust surge animation, you can easily be ready to parry , and get usually get a second hit on him after your parry. He claw rushes? You can also parry that and do major damage to him on the ground (or just jump on a box or something and wait it out lol). And with unrelenting advance you just either evade him rather easily, or dodge behind and hit him in his back. Don’t get me wrong, a good Grievous is straight up deadly, but I’d rather face a good Grievous than good Vader any day of the week.

Boosk is great at defending choke points. In the final stage of supremacy on the separatist ship, good luck not running into a shit ton of gas, grenades, and mines.

Tbh you don't even need Solo. If you have the SE-44C with rapid fire and cooling down, you can spam the shit out of that gun on heroes and villains. Dodge them well enough and they die.

Chewie is underrated imo. -A lot of health for a blaster hero -All blaster attacks go through saber blocks -Has 2 stun abilities. -Shock grenade also ignores lightsaber blocks A chewie who knows what he's doing can take on any villain and win, unless he's being ganged up on by 3 or more people in which case he'll die.
I 100% agree and I don’t think that he is bad in trooper modes at all because with the star card that makes u refresh the amount of time left during the middle ability when you get a kill makes him possibly the best blaster hero

Thing is, the BBs are not meant to fight. They are support. As for Lando, you're supposed to use his pistol to score headshots. It does more damage than a lightsaber with headshots.
Easier said than done lol, with every blaster hero/trooper is best to score headshot, that doesn't mean that we should calculate how good they are based purely on how much damage we can deal with hs
Dooku only being good against heroes makes sense. His lightsaber style, form II or Makashi, was developed for lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. If I remember correctly, his hilt design was made so that if you were following his hand you couldn't keep track of his blade since it's curved.
He’s my favorite villain in the game. I wreck troops with him pretty easy. His health regeneration, Stam and saber damage thru his abilities.. plus the lightning for range.. I think he’s top 5 easy if used correctly.
I've mained Rey as a support since Battlefront 2's launch. I use the cards so that Insight both lasts longer and has a larger area of effect. It's amazing giving your entire team wallhacks.

A couple days ago, I was playing Vader in a HvV and this Anakin and Rey decided to team up against me. Well, after a bad roll from both, a choke, lightsaber throw, and a couple swings I killed both. This was very fun because that same Anakin had been pretty annoying in chat the past match, and this time he called me a hacker just because I managed to do a 2v1 with "ease". (I was sweating rivers in that 2v1)
But you see that's funny because of Anakin's shit stamina pool. This guy was known for being an incredibally adept user of form IV and regarded as the master of form V. Both of these forms were quite taxing yet Anakin was still known/feared for keeping up a relentless assault for long periods of time. So lore wise, his stamina weakness makes absolutely no sense.
And then there is grievous, a cyborg designed to kill jedi and never stop but loses all stamina if he sees another lightsaber. I know people say he's top tier, but for an average player his entire kit (and how inconsistent he is) makes it feel like he's set up for failure

Obi-Wan should have way faster lightsaber swing speeds with lower damage. 1. He was an expert Duelist as shown in the Duel on Mustafar, and 2. He is a defensive character whose swings never did the damage Anakin's would

The great thing about BB-9e is no one expects you to be a threat. You start to wittle down their health, all the while they grow frustrated that they can't hit you, and then maybe you launch them off the map with shock spin... he's so fun to play as

As a phasma main... even if its hard to accept, everything he said was true: If I can manipulate someone into getting in the droid's range, they're mine. If they know how to get me out of my droid or 2+ heroes rush me, im pretty much dead. If they just ignore me and stay away, I can't do much. And if I try to move from my power position, unless my team is there to help, dead.
I'm good with Phasma, because I tend to not camp at all and stay with my team. I actually put down my droid when I start a fight ...some people think its still where I put it last (and get surprised) but I pick it up as soon as i win a fight and have a few seconds of calm. (using G). And I usually get fast into close combat with a lightsaber hero with the staff, since the last blow throw him to the ground and I can finish him. Droid stun + 3rd staff blow + blaster stream shot to the head is the ultimate combo, I managed to deal with 2 lightsaber heroes

Chewie is underrated imo.
-A lot of health for a blaster hero
-All blaster attacks go through saber blocks
-Has 2 stun abilities.
-Shock grenade also ignores lightsaber blocks
A chewie who knows what he's doing can take on any villain and win, unless he's being ganged up on by 3 or more people in which case he'll die.
That's why he is really subpar in trooper modes

As for Lando, you're supposed to use his pistol to score headshots. It does more damage than a lightsaber with headshots.

Dooku only being good against heroes makes sense. His lightsaber style, form II or Makashi, was developed for lightsaber-to-lightsaber combat. If I remember correctly, his hilt design was made so that if you were following his hand you couldn't keep track of his blade since it's curved.
He’s my favorite villain in the game. I wreck troops with him pretty easy. His health regeneration, Stam and saber damage thru his abilities.. plus the lightning for range.. I think he’s top 5 easy if used correctly.
I've mained Rey as a support since Battlefront 2's launch. I use the cards so that Insight both lasts longer and has a larger area of effect. It's amazing giving your entire team wallhacks.

A couple days ago, I was playing Vader in a HvV and this Anakin and Rey decided to team up against me. Well, after a bad roll from both, a choke, lightsaber throw, and a couple swings I killed both. This was very fun because that same Anakin had been pretty annoying in chat the past match, and this time he called me a hacker just because I managed to do a 2v1 with "ease". (I was sweating rivers in that 2v1)
I like how some people's strengths actually match their heroes as Obi's style was more defensive and dooku's was more focused on lightsaber combat
But you see that's funny because of Anakin's shit stamina pool. This guy was known for being an incredibally adept user of form IV and regarded as the master of form V. Both of these forms were quite taxing yet Anakin was still known/feared for keeping up a relentless assault for long periods of time. So lore wise, his stamina weakness makes absolutely no sense.
And then there is grievous, a cyborg designed to kill jedi and never stop but loses all stamina if he sees another lightsaber. I know people say he's top tier, but for an average player his entire kit (and how inconsistent he is) makes it feel like he's set up for failure

Obi-Wan should have way faster lightsaber swing speeds with lower damage. 1. He was an expert Duelist as shown in the Duel on Mustafar, and 2. He is a defensive character whose swings never did the damage Anakin's would

Ya the spin is really annoying when I go through 3-4 low health troopers and don’t hit any of them, then they melt half my health before I can take them out

BASS blocking right after a spin maks ur block just not work, lightsabers and blasters just go right through it
I find it annoying taking damage while using the spin. Idk if that's a feature or bug (is there a difference with EA?) but it doesn't make any sense. If it is a feature then Rey should be able to take damage on her rush, and Grievous should take damage on his claw rush.

The great thing about BB-9e is no one expects you to be a threat. You start to wittle down their health, all the while they grow frustrated that they can't hit you, and then maybe you launch them off the map with shock spin... he's so fun to play as

As a phasma main... even if its hard to accept, everything he said was true:
If I can manipulate someone into getting in the droid's range, they're mine.
If they know how to get me out of my droid or 2+ heroes rush me, im pretty much dead.
If they just ignore me and stay away, I can't do much.
And if I try to move from my power position, unless my team is there to help, dead.
Utilize rolls and staff strikes to the back. I've survived multiple 4v1s like that and I am level 25 right now.
I try to find where the main fight is and I set my droid there so they don’t have a choice, they have to be in range of my droid
I'm good with Phasma, because I tend to not camp at all and stay with my team. I actually put down my droid when I start a fight ...some people think its still where I put it last (and get surprised) but I pick it up as soon as i win a fight and have a few seconds of calm. (using G). And I usually get fast into close combat with a lightsaber hero with the staff, since the last blow throw him to the ground and I can finish him. Droid stun + 3rd staff blow + blaster stream shot to the head is the ultimate combo, I managed to deal with 2 lightsaber heroes
