The DC15 is nostalgic for me because i remember seeing so many clones use it in the movies

I wish it felt and performed like it did in the movies and the clone wars though instead of an lmg which it isn't really portrayed as in the films and tv shows. I would much rather it was implemented as a gun similar to how the FAL is implemented in games like cod as a medium range semi auto rifle.

You'd be amazed by how many times I can miss a target while sniping, and yet I won't be killed. About 90% of my time as a specialist is spent missing shots on the enemy and then wondering if the enemy's just leaving me alive cause they know I can't hit them anyway.
Kamino sniping as Bossk across the map is really fun. other snipers would try to get you and underestimate the health regen.

Update: I have the A280 CFE, so I can effectively grind, I don't even need burst
@@humzaakhtar9208 just play supremacy on kashyyk as the clones, and sit near the boxes just past capture point e. You can see the bots' spawn and still be hidden from actual players

@@lae2640 "being in the grind" doesn't mean anything, I play this game a lot and I can't remember each and every gun by name alone. Showing off the gun in the video wouldn't have hurt especially for those who are just getting into the game or don't have the time to get in the "grind"

@Lucian Sorenson I am relatively new to the game and what I did to unlock the other sniper guns is just playing Koop. It isn't a lot of fun but after 7 or 8 games I had my 400 kills together.

Beastly Norris I got the game like 7 months after it had come out and was still keeping up with all the enemies without feeling like i was missing out. Made the early game and the general fun for a new player very good when the first gun you use is great!

I think we can all agree that the SE-44C is stupidly overpowered. Especially since it's for the *support* class.

Pretty much every round the top players are Officers with SE-44C, Improved Battle Command, Officer's Presence, and Bounty Hunter. Those players will unlock a hero within the first few minutes of the match start and go on to wreck everyone for the rest of the match.

I love your videos bro. You really go into depth and they are great but just a word of advise, for the next time you do a video like this. Put the blaster picture up there for the newer players who may not know what weapon is what. It will stick in their heads better than just the name of it. So when they go to play they know what weapons to use and which ones to stay away from
what’s funny is i have all the blasters but i still just use the default one because it’s actually so good
yahboitay I know right, after all this time I’m starting to realize how many weapons Battlefront II actually has that are being disregarded *(Mostly because their all locked in Specific eras)*
@@Fi_Sci_ That's something that disappoints me as well. Also, it's not just because they are locked to specific eras but also because all the default blasters are exactly the same. Some may look different when you aim down the sights in first person but overall, they have the same stats.
The default blasters are mostly surprisingly good though, although it's pretty clear that the sniper with the highest damage is the most prefered one for those long range one hit kills.

It depends on which default weapon, he assault and officer's is decent, while the specialist's and heavy's is trash.
The default Assault, Specialist, and Officer weapons are perfectly usable as long as you know how to use 'em. Heavy's default is.... eh, questionable at best, but it can still work.

one of my complaints about battlefront two is that there aren't enough blasters, id really like it if instead of the class system it currently has it would have something similar to battlefront 1's loadout system

Great video. The only 'disagreement' I had was about the FMB10K.
I run this with the Ion shot attachment on Kashyyk and Naboo as the Clone troopers, phase 1 Hoth as the Rebels, phase 2 on Geonosis as the droids and phase 3 on Geonosis as the Clones, as it strongly augments the other anti-vehicle capabilities of the Heavy when they're in cool down. It is also pretty good at anti-aircraft play where the huge spread actually works to your advantage.
I agree 100% that it is near useless against other classes, but if your play style on those maps is 100% objective based rather than blast then it is a good choice albeit highly situational. I would love to see Ion shot do bonus damage to droids.
I'm going to give the TL-50 another go following your video. I previously found its spread was too much to make it useful for anything other than CQC, but it looks like that has been fixed. I also liked your footage of the NT-242 with the Ion shot attachment. I've not seen it used that way before and will be giving that a go.
Although not technically a regular blaster, the Stinger Pistol is worth considering as well. If I find a hero dominating play too much, I'll pull that out and go hunting. It won't typically kill outright (although it can if you land enough shots), it will enable others to take down the hero faster which can often turn the tide of play.

I tried switching to the A280 and my playing improved so much, so I totally agree with all of this
Also try the CR2 with reduced recoil and night vision, and make sure to have the toughen up card and health on kill card. You will go on crazy killstreaks

This was actually a pretty good video. People don’t usually talk about the guns. Even playing since launch, I’ve learned a few things about some guns. I think the ranking is very valid too!
I do very much enjoy these ranking videos, not so much the ranking itself tho but rather the explanations and tips on how to use and modify the weapons, heroes etc. Also I rly enjoy the gameplay that goes along with it and in this video fits each explanation rly well. Keep it up man and never change that outro pls😂
Surprised to see the default officer weapon this high, it always felt like a peashooter to me, losing in 1v1 to practically all other weapons. Didnt use it extensively though, switched to the S-5 instantly after I got it.
I would do a map ranking, and reinforcement ranking. And my favorite weapon in BF2 is by far the S-5. I main officer, and I main this gun. It's amazing for people like me who love hand cannons. Reduced recoil and ion shot makes it amazing.
On a side note, anyone remember at launch when everyone used the CR-2? And it was broken as all hell too? That and the Blurrg were almost always used. God, those were the days.
Video was great but I would have loved to see a short screen shot of each weapon as you are taking about them and then a little gameplay as you did.

time to erase my memory of the explosive shot glitch, again.
This is the third time I've watched this video now. The first time was when I was considering buying the game, the second when I was slogging through the god awful default heavy blaster and sniper rifle, and now the third time when I have everything but the NT242 unlocked just to reflect on where I personally stand with the weapons.

Sorry, but the A280cfe is the best sniper weapon. Three shots before needing a cool down is too unforgiving. Unless you’re hitting the enemy on your first or second shot, you won’t get the kill as the enemy will have enough time to find cover when you cool it down. The A280CFE is just so good at close and long range. And the cooldown rates are perfectly forgiving enough for you to miss a round or two without giving up the kill.

I’ve been playing dc-15le since the minute I got it (pretty much since launch) and the improved zoom has only bugged once. I’d easily put it as the highest heavy weapon
I love having my opinions validated whenever you praise a weapon I already have equipped.
Especially the A280. Honestly caught me off guard a little since I have played 120 hours of this game but haven't paid attention to the "meta" whatsoever. I thought I was being quirky by maining a burst weapon.

Which is actually kind of a problem. That's why the prevalence of the SC44 and other high-ranked weapons is so obvious. There are very few pro/con analyses to be done in deciding what weapon/mods to deploy with. Once you unlock them all, there is almost no question of what to load out with for nearly every situation you play each class.
Diversity in gameplay would be encouraged by exaggerating the trade-offs (i.e. both the negative and positive aspects of guns/mods). As a good example; one of the only cases where I make this calculation is for the heavy class. If I am in an area of poor visibility (continuously getting tagged by auto-aiming, skinny droid AI bots on Kashyyk, for example), I will sometimes sacrifice a bit of weapon performance and use the FWMB-10K with night vision equipped. I can't readily recall any other case where I change my go-to builds.
the CR-2 ion shot is broken. It has the same time to kill as the normal CR-2, and it destroys droidika's shields
I'm surprised not many people use it especially when the enemy spams Shield, bubblers (what I call specialists who melee with shield), or even like you said Droidika's and the damage drop off is so small so it's definitely worth using.

I actually favor the FWMB-10K as a heavy. I run Night Vision and Auto cooling on it, as my vision is admittedly not perfect so having the ability to see very bright outlines of enemies is a tremendous help.

Interesting that the 10K ranks so low, it's always been my preferred heavy overall since it performs the best at range at base. I never found trouble with its damage output either

had an aerial try to jump me when I was an assault trooper and I was using the EL-16 hit him with jump shots the second he landed and he died near instantly the damage is just bonkers.
The EL jeffe is my favorite blaster so god damn good

Finally, someone who gets that the S-5 is an amazing weapon. My main is S-5 with Reduced Recoil and Dual Zoom with Improved Flashbang, Disruptor, and Recharge Command. Even if the S-5 might not be the best at close range your enemies csnt kill you if they cant see or shoot

It's taking me so long to unlock all the attachments for specialist. I'm just not good at this class, but I really wanna play as the Twi'lek.
Giancarlo Peñalba play capital supremacy and find a nice sniping spot that overlooks an enemy base. The AI will always attempt to reinforce the base. Just keep sniping them down and you’ll unlock the attachments fairly quickly. Especially the high ground along the edge on Geonosis or on the cliffs in the jungle on Felucia. Just make sure you have the stealth perk on so players can’t spot your location when you’re firing.

I was amazing at exploiting the Explosive Shot glitch. It was so fun to melt heroes (back when I didn't want to use them lmao). However, I am not sad to see it gone
I was so hyped to see the A280 to be in the number 1 spot... just having it be my favorite blaster because it is based on the STG44 assault rifle just made it my automatic favorite since battlefront 2015

I remember when the DC-15LE had its explosive shot glitch playing heroes was basically impossible as you would always die to heavies and I remember the bug being around way longer than just a single month
I dare say it, but the A280CE with burst is better then the A280 but the assault class has better cards and abilities so I agree with that being the best gun

The Cr- 2 is my favourite because if you click x at the yellow part of the overheat bar you can basically have a continues spray of laser fire
