I have several Sonos speakers. In my lounge for music, I now have an older pair of Fives which are looked up to a turntable and cd player. Plus I now have a single Era 300 which I use for Atmos music. Best of both worlds!

I'm upgrading my old play 1s to two Era 100's. I love the fact that I can hook up and old CD player to them.
We had a 1st gen Echo in our master bathroom for listening to music in the morning ruclips.net/user/postUgkxABghAEkaIDGZfHRBH3D3rBrlraNmnC71 and while in the shower. I didn't realize how tinny and awful the sound output on the original Echo was until we replaced it with the Studio. It was a sonic upgrade far beyond what I was expecting. Just wow. I love it because it's like having speakers IN the shower. My friend likes it because the music is so loud that she can no longer hear me singing. So that's a win-win.
x2 Era 100s for me.. I like front facing sound for surround audio.. it’s a shame the Era 300.. don’t use that front facing tweeter during movies.. a few viewers have complained about this.. I’m sure the Era 300 is an amazing speaker..
But I’m happy with my Sonos Ones so the Era 100s will still be an upgrade in the Bass department.. With the Sonos upgrade program and selling my ones.. I can pay a good price overall for the Era 100s..
Eventually I might dip into Atmos speakers in the future… just got the Sub mini and loving my setup.. I am really excited about the Era 100s and love the look of them 😊
Upgraded ones to Era 100s with beam, fullsize sub, full mode. Amazing upgrade music only. In less than a week replaced the second set of one's in same configuration in my bedroom. Better bass, better mid-range better sound stage. I don't do surround sound television. ❤❤❤

I’ve just bought 2 era 100s for £336 new, going to set them up tomorrow , I’ve got a beam 2 as a front speaker and will set them as rear speakers as you said 😁
2 Era 100's with a Sub mini is an amazing set up. The speakers masterfully creates a live experience on high's and crazy goods mids, and the sub gives an amazing Thud.
The Era 300 seems to be a good option to add depth to a Sonos soundbar. For music purposes only, a pair of Era 100 are probably the way to go.

I'm gonna say, I have a Beam Gen 2 as my PC speaker. I think it's a overkill and I never listen to music or content with Dolby Atmos, so I decided to buy two Era 100 and set them up as a stereo pair. I think this setup will be better for me.
How are you liking it?
I dove into the eco system with a Move and Era 300. I have a very large open concept space to fill and I’ll definitely get a sub, 2nd era 300, and sound bar for the future. Atmos sounds great for some tracks, the era 300 is great for regular audio to just airplay to as well combined with the move.
How is the Sonos Move sound wise?

Do you recommend the era 300 stereo pair in a setup with a beam (gen 2) + sub mini over the sonos five stereo pair.
I still have 2015 LG Music Flow wi-fi speakers. They cover my entire home and I have never enjoyed a sound system as much as I do these.
I’d love to see a rears vid. Currently have a beam (2gen), with sub mini and 2 SL’s. Really want to know if 2 x era 300 would fit into my setup as rears 😁

How would the 100's fair on a computer desk set up?
I'm seriously thinking of the following and would like to know peoples opinions if it's overkill or just won't work, or will work brilliantly.
My listening space is fairly small but I want to ge the best I can for it.
Room is not quite square.
I wanted to put 2 x ERA 300 on the opposite wall to the sofa. And also a full Gen3 sub.
But on the same wall as the sofa, 2 x ERA 100 facing inwards towards the sitting position. And in line with the sofa.
Would this work do you think?
Open to any advice.

Hello, what can get louder / fil a larger room between one 300 or two 100 ?
Anyone having trouble finding a sweet spot / triangular sound with a pair of Era 300s? I’ve experimented with room placement, toe-in, done TruePlay before vs. after pairing as a stereo, adjusted EQ and Height. Despite such, sitting slightly to one side of a sofa renders the vocal much more prominent on that side of the listening vs. ideally in the center stage. Any help is most appreciated! Note I don’t have a sub yet, but would get a sub-mini to free up the 300s mids. Thanks

What you should be comparing is how does the era300 compare with its Spatial Audio setting turned off vs the 100’s. It’s not mandatory to use.
So I thought these would be an alternative to my Beam but I don’t think they are. I currently have the Beam and the Sub in my living room and a One in my bath. The One is fantastic in my bath as it provides a great sound experience while in the shower. Could anyone tell me if a pair of 100’s would be a good option for my tv system in my basement or should I consider another Beam and Sub. We don’t often use the tv downstairs but it could be a nice entertainment area.
I paired 2 era 100's with an Arc and it sounds amazing. I think combining it with a beam is also a great option. I live in an apartment so I'm hesitant to get a sub, but for what it's worth, the era 100's have quite decent bass in them. If you really want to know what a good option for you would be, I suggest visiting a store where you can test out and experience what these different speakers have to offer.
300 is my choice, but in stereo 😊

what would be best, Beam Gen 2 + 2 Era 100s or Beam Gen 2 + 1 Era 300? In either scenario the Eras will be rears and then option to add a sub mini at some point later on
I would personally go for 2 Era 100 speakers. I feel like they're a better fit for all-round use like watching shows and series, movies, gaming and listening to music. But that's just my personal opinion, as I don't really listen to Dolby Atmos music, and I don't really care about that as well. And by no means do the era 100 speakers sound like shit when listening to music, as they are actually really amazing in their own right, but the Era 300 just offers a different experience when it comes to music apparently.

I have my record player hooked up to a Port which won’t connect to the Sub Mini in my speaker set. Do we know if the Era 100 or 300 will connect to the Sub Mini?
Yes the Sub won’t connect to the Port but will connect to the Era’s absolutely fine. Hope this helps.
20m2 living room. Single Era 300 vs stereo Era 100 (same price in Belgium). I listen to Dolby Atmos from time to time, but 40-50% of tracks at most (AM listener). Which you think would be more entertaining setup? :)

Era 300 was too big for my small room, so I decided to change it to Era 100 and I think it's the right decision. Now I have Arc, Sub 3 gen, Era 100 for a small room, Era 300 I think is a wrong choice for small room.

Would the 300 be any good as a speaker for a Samsung G8 OLED? Uncertain of which way to go because I don't want to lose the single HDMI port which would be the case if I used a soundbar
While you can connect this to a TV we would recommend a soundbar every time.
