Have Fun, Super Ron!
Thank you Super Ron and Lee for looking after my M5. Excellent workmanship, knowledge and great video 🙂. I would definitely recommend them. The M5 turn heads wherever it goes.
Great to hear from you and I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The car is an amazing example! 😁
@@SuperRon thank you sir
@@_bvd_something else I would like to ask, do you have any insight to why it had LHD headlights? The question has come up a few times, some theories about the Netherlands.
@@SuperRon Hi, apologies I just saw the message. So the car got exported to Germany in 2010, it was there for 2years . Then it got sold to a collector in Denmark but never got registered there was in storage most of it's time there. Then I purchase it and imported it back.
Hello ! Super nice Euro e28 M5 with the M88/3 engine !! Well worth spending the $$$ on this legend !! Too bad the ''bundle of snakes headers'' can not be installed on a RHD car....
Uncle had an E28 M535, used to think it spun the wheels in second until I realized it had a dog leg 🤣 Dream car right there, glad I found this channel
Thanks for watching 😁 glad you enjoyed it!
I have 2x e28's-an M535i and Alpina B10 (M535i from factory, Alpina Australia b10 kit fitted 1996). Great cars, gradually getting work recommissioning them here. Loved the video, great information from Brisbane, Australia.
Very nice! Thanks for watching 😁
What a beautiful example. Love the classic m5 👍
It was a great example! I'm spoiled working on two this week 🤣
Job well done, beautiful car! 👍
Thanks for watching 😁
Nice little overhaul! The writing on the sticker looks to be danish, so maby thats why it had LHD headlights?
Ahh, I did try a bit of Google translate on that but couldn't get anything, would make a lot of sense 👍
Great video and loved seeing all the knowledge you have on this M5. I have a 535i and wanting to upgrade the brakes (discs and calipers) using the e34 540i ones. Do you think its a worthwhile upgrade?
Thanks for watching 😁 If the 535i have the same brakes as the m5 they are adequate, but if there is an upgrade avilable then its always a good idea 😁
Great video and workmanship! This M5 is the twin to mine - Cirrus Blue with factory body kit, although mine has houndstooth cloth interior. My chassis number ends 185 - I would love to know this one?!
Sorry I dont remember the numbers on this one, glad you enjoyed the video 😁
Hi Ron
I have a quick question. Is that m5 imported from Denmark?
As far as I'm aware it's a uk car and has uk history and MOTs, someone else mentioned the Danish on the sticker too so maybe it has been over there aswel, explaining the LHD headlights
Hi guys,
Are m535i e28s quite expensive to buy (unmolested and not modified, assuming it’s got rust, some damage)?
The E28 M5's have SOURED over recent years. The other one we have in has just been insured for £70k+! Its crazy
@@SuperRonseen some C reg 535i m (86/87) with 180k on clock online. About £10k. Apparently got rust.
Given I’ve not seen the car, is that a normal price to pay?
@@SuperRon is that your insurance cost to keep in the garage?
@@Darkknight21789that was his own insurance's value. A 40 year old car with 'some' rust could be as bad as just being a parts car, it's impossible to say.
@@SuperRon Yes, I don’t know unless I take a mechanic with me to inspect the car. Suggest any questions I should be asking the owner/seller of the vehicle?
