Yeah, it was awesome. It answered so many questions about Mata Nui, why the Matoran lived there, how they got all that technology they used, where the Kanohi hidden all over the island came from, who the Turaga were, it was amazing, a legendary place like Atlantis or El Dorado.
Oh, Bionicle... How you dominated my childhood and early adulthood... I followed this franchise RELIGIOUSLY up through the Baraki days--also known as the "Creeps From the Deep" arc. I was even an early adopter of the TECNIC line from LEGO that would serve as the literal building blocks for Bionicle, had the first three movies, the game, and even dabbled in stop-motion filming with my Piraka. Fun times to be a kid...
I was 5 years old when I got my first Bionicle set in 2003; a Turahk. But after that I got more and more sets, and even after the end of Bionicle in 2010, I still collect them today. I am proud to call myself a Bionicle fan.
me and my little brother only managed to get Vakama, Matau, and Zadakh from this gen but the coolest part to me was the schoolastic book that went into deep detail about all of the metrus with these fantastic early/mid-00s CG renders of parts of the city. it was a fun read, I wanted to spend time in the protodermis chute system and the knowledge towers
The vahki had great comercials if only they were writen with such menacing atmosphere in the books as the enforcers of martial law and a dictatorship instead of oh look vahki thats nice now lets go fight makuta!
Matau is the best toa metru. I have him and whenua. I love matau so much becouse of the way he behaves in bionicle 2 legends of metru nui. I have that movie on dvd and i am still waching it many times. I am 16 and i stil just love the shit out of that movie. Matau is the best toa metru.
Thomas Winter Please I'm almost 23 and I am still watch it more often than not. and if i had to peg my favorite toa metru it would be whenua I think. I like matau but he's too focused on trivial matters like his own looks. It was Matau's insicurities that pushed Vakama to fell so inadiquite that he turned his back on his team.
I got Bionicle back when they stated up back I'm 2000... out some tinge in the 90's i was young, but i have been collecting despite Bionicle being taken over and put under the name "Hero Factory". I like the new ones. I am and will always be a Bionicle nerd. I collected 2 of each so i could keep one and dismantle and reconfigure the other. I now have a room that i just build in. No I'm not single or crazy. Just an eager fanboy with a mildly disapproving girlfriend. Hey she still loves me.
The commercial actually felt like it was bionicle and the sets were properly 3d rendered. They most likely Didn't have enough budget to animate the entire movie like the commercial
not necessarily, as bionicle made them a *lot* of money. they probably didn't want to spend a lot more money animating it this way,, because this is much higher quality, so the most likely cut corners
This season did _so much_ right! The constant feeling of dread, the evolution of the characters, the dramatic twists, the villains... it was terrific!

Whats really fucked up is that the police are starting to act more like the Vahki.
you're not wrong.... surrender or run
I had Nuju when I was 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7.
this would be great if they add vahki in the bionicle movie
"New hereos"
I'm sorry Bonkle 2015, but your commercials are no match for these ones.
You're never take me alive
honestly the metru nui that was shown in the adverts was cooler than the one shown in the movies. or at least it felt cooler
The commercial actually felt like it was bionicle and the sets were properly 3d rendered. They most likely Didn't have enough budget to animate the entire movie like the commercial
***** Lego were low on money?

Ben Knight yes they were. Bionicle literaly kept the entier lego company from bankruptcy. so yea very low on money.
Surrender or Run.
they shoulda called the city Metro Nui.
metru likely translates to "city" in maori
TRUST IN TURAGA DUME
